"then you can trust me with them. they're not gonna ever sway me from you." eliot muttered, squeezing her hip gently. he didn't think he would ever get more of a thrill from any other girl. stevie was everything to him. "i believe you." eliot nodded. he reached down to kiss her for a second, "i'd die for you, stevie. you know that?"

"okay," the femme smiled sweetly. "of course, i trust you, baby. it's them i don't trust," in truth, she knew he was a flirt, how couldn't someone who looked like him enjoy such attention? but now she was in his life the idea of him even thinking of flirting with another made her stomach fill with fire. "absolutely nothing," she confirmed, knowing she had made sure no trail was left to follow. "i'm good at what i do, and i do it for you, eliot."

mildred nodded her head, "thank you." she sighed. she felt like such an idiot for trusting thomas. she thought that he was a good person, that he could be someone she could spend a long with with. but apparently she had just been an idiot. she didn't know why she kept going with these men. mildred nodded her head a little and melted into the hug as his arms wrapped around her. "thank you axel. thank you for being here."

"okay, well, i'll find him tomorrow and make sure that key is no longer in his possession," he might also teach the boy a lesson for messing with mildred in such a way, but he'd keep that to himself. "of course i can stay, mil. anything you need," axel nodded, pulling her into a protective hug, his way of trying to comfort her in the moment. "i've got you."

a relationship between he and jett had never worked out. probably for the reasons why they were still in each others lives now. they were stubborn and unwilling to give the other what they needed. but they also loved one another. he loved her more than he was ever willing to admit. "or they see you and go running for the hills. they don't wanna get wrapped up with you and your bullshit." he hated that she could still get under his skin. "and what the fuck does jake know?!"

"oo, talk dirty to me, benji, you know i love that," the femme smirked, trying to ignore the fact that those words stung, far more than she liked. it was complicated, this thing between them. they couldn't be with each other, right? but being without each other also seemed daunting. it's like they both agreed to stay friends only to torture each other because they weren't something more. "it's not my fault you choose gullible people to date, i am sure there are plenty of girls out there who wouldn't fall for my shit, but you just know how to pick them, huh?" jett replied with a devious gleam to her eyes. "well, given she was fucking jake at the time, she knew.... a lot."

"at least it would make things interesting around here." arabella scoffed. she hated the town that they lived in and vowed to leave ... once she had enough money to do so. "good. then you'll be fine." she shrugged. "you have no idea." she confirmed, nodding her head. her smile widened as whiskey spoke about the power and she nodded her head, "i didn't break into this place to not try the rides, did i?"

"true, can you imagine?" he chucked softly, "i only own running shoes, let's be real," he needed them for his work and they were more durable for all the walking he did. "i have no idea? now you've got me curious," whiskey replied with a quirked brow. "well, i've got to find the power grid, then i should be able to turn some of these rides on, if you're game for trying them out?"

"you're the fucking worst thing to ever happen to me." he snapped. benji definitely didn't mean that and he was sure that jett knew that. they ruined each others lives but she was also what he lived for. he wanted to be around her, no matter what. even if he said otherwise. and they both knew it. "only because you ruin any chance i've got with any one fucking else. you want me so badly, you can't just leave me be." he rolled his eyes as she continued. "what the fuck does chelsea even know?! she's an idiot."

"oh yes, it's been better than any sex i've had, and it's oh so easy," jett beamed, her voice full of pride. it was always sweet when she could mess with someone, it just so happened that her ex, who she may or may not still feel something for, made a perfect target to fuck with. "see, you say that now, but i'd bet the second i do i'd get some adorable 'i miss you' text. or have you fucking up one of my next dates. remember charlie? you spilled that bucket of ice water over him as a prank? funny that chelsea told me that prank only happened because i showed up to the party with him."

"in this town? unlikely." she scoffed. "i hope you have your running shoes on, then." this was a bit of a game to arabella. and she was enjoying his reaction almost just as much. "oh, baby, you've no idea" arabella laughed. even though she knew that he wasn't particularly talking about her, it definitely wasn't the first time that those words had been hurled at her. "what do you wanna do first?!"

"i have plenty sense of adventure, bel, but this place is practically a death trap at this point, i wouldn't be surprised if some serial killer was using it as a lair or something," he thought out loud, torch shifting around in search to the power grid. "i was technically joking, even if i wondered how good their rides were compared to ours... i mean, it was a funny fantasy but actually doing it? kind of wild, maybe a little insane."

"i promise." he nodded. "you don't trust me?" eliot liked to flirt. he enjoyed it. he didn't think that a bit of harmless flirting did you any wrong. he particularly enjoyed the affect that he had over hazel because of it. "you sure?" he questioned, "they'll find nothing?" he was sure that she was right but he wanted to make sure. the last thing that he wanted was for something to happen to hazel. she was too important to him.

"you promise?" she asked, tone soft and delicate at the idea that he meant those words. gently her hand raised, caressing his cheeks as she licked her lips. "let them ask, they won't find any proof i did anything. it's not my fault that those girls look at you like you'll be the next notch in their bedpost," stevie pointed out with a shrug, showing no remorse for her actions. she trusted eliot would never actually let those women close but she preferred not to risk the chance. she knew how persuasive some people could be.

of course mildred knew that calling axel probably didn't make much sense. he was her fathers friend. that was all... wasn't it? it had to be all. she knew that, really. but still, she knew that he'd protect her and that was what was the most important, she thought. she needed to feel safe tonight and she always felt safe whenever he was around. "no. no. he's gone." she sighed, shaking her head. "he - yeah. he has a key." she muttered. "but can you stay? i don't - i don't want to be here on my own. he'll come back, you know?"

should he have this much concern for the daughter of his best friend? not really, sure there should be a small amount of protectiveness, but this was beyond out of character for axel unless the person meant more to him than most. "i remember," he replied, a bitter expression given at the memory of the boy he hadn't approved of. "where is he now? is he still here? i'll happily beat his ass," the male spoke out, the suggestion rather interesting given his badge meant he was capable of arresting the male, doing this the legal way. he did a quick sweep, checking there weren't any ways the boy could come back in if he tried again. "does he have a key i need to retrieve off him or would you prefer ii just stay here tonight? incase he tries to come back?"

benji rolled his eyes as jett spoke. he should've known that she had something to do with the reason why his date had left early. "do you get off by being a bitch or something, jett?!" benji huffed as he turned to look at her. breaking up had been harder than benji had ever thought that it was going to be. it was like they couldn't shake one another. "just leave me the fuck alone."

eliot couldn't help but chuckle a little as stevie spoke. he found this side of her incredibly attractive but he knew that he couldn't let himself get too distracted. "you are more than enough for me, sweetheart." eliot smirked, his hand moving to rest against her waist. he pulled her a little closer to him. "people are gonna start asking questions if you keep messing with girls who even look in my direction."

there was a devious gleam in the young femmes eyes, holding in a laugh as she was asked about the people who had gone missing recently. those people specifically being connected to the other through flirtations and intimacy. "and why do you want to know what happened to them? you have me," stevie replied, voice dripping with honey coating her deceptive actions. "am i not enough for you?" she queried, dark orbs scanning them curiously as she moved closer, lips hovering over theirs.

when mildreds ex boyfriend removed to leave her house, she hadn't been completely sure what to do. she spotted axels number first and she didn't have too much time to think about it before she texted him for help. luckily, once he realised that she had called someone, he'd left pretty quickly. "i'm okay." mildred nodded. "i'm okay. i - you remember thomas? my ex? he came to the bbq for my dads birthday last year?" she raised an eyebrow. "i dumped him a few days ago and he - he was here when i got home and refused to leave."

when axel received the text from them he dropped everything, it wasn't something he did on the regular, outside of work - at least. but something instantly felt off when he saw the message so he got to theirs as quickly as he possibly could. thankful the door was unlocked so he didn't break it down in the moment. "are you okay? what happened? what's wrong?" the male spoke out in a concerned tone, making his way over to them swiftly.

" eliza commented. she didn't think that this would ever be toby. she thought that it was probably alicias affect on him. she sighed and rolled her eyes as he spoke again. " and that means that i want him to be dead in a ditch, does it? " it wasn't exactly answering the question but she thought that it was the best she could do. because she had no real idea how she felt towards nate anymore.

“ i don't know. my manager might be an asshole but i still like the job. besides, it'll be my company one day, need to know it well. ” shoulders raise in a casual shrug, aware how different the outlook was to unruly heir he'd bee the first time they were introduced. “ uh, no, don't think so. ” features knot at the mention of the other male, brown eyes resting on his sister. “ you want me to message him? thought the two of you didn't exactly get along? ”

the more he spoke, the more concerned eliza felt. it was so much easier when she had no-one to care about. " why do you even still work for him? " she huffed, shaking her head. " i'm - have you seen nate recently? he's - i haven't seen him and the last time... " she sighed, shrugging her shoulders. she wished she could go back to how things were before - where she was alone and didn't really care about anyone - but somehow, nate had wormed his way under her skin.

“ i'm not trying to start a fight with you, eliza. fuck, i mean, i don't even have time to fight with you, the targets dad's set this quarter are just — ” not actually relevant, not to eliza at least. and certainly not a good reason for him to channel his stress at the brunette. “ look, i'm sorry. rather not piss you and alicia off in the same day. what's up, you need something? ”

ethan sighed, shaking his head slightly. he was going to make sure that her father asked, if that was the case. he wasn't allowed to do anything so he was going to make damn sure that her father did. "i swear to god, if anyone ever touches you again..." he huffed, shaking his head a little as he reached for the items to begin cleaning up her wounds. he was as gentle as possible.

there was a pause when he posed the question, "only if he asks..." in other words, she was planning on covering it up or avoiding her father until things looked way better, why? because he was in part the cause of this, if his business didn't have horrible people involved she could avoid them for the most part. grey handed him all the items she collected, moving closer to ethan with a soft smile.
