i mean , sure , the city shows an ugly face sometimes , but there’s more to it than that . there’s beauty here          -  moms that sing to their kids , the way my mom used to .                                 personal blogs dni !

The white blood cell grit his teeth tightly behind his smile at the firm handshake, holding back a wince, but retained his friendly composure. SHEESH, this dude had a grip! He could only imagine what it’d be like to get hit by him…Ozzy grins lightly, pearly white teeth peeking sheepishly under thing lips, rubbing his hand with his other after the handshake. He looks at Goliath, internally amazed at the powerful aura he gave off, despite his calm demeanor. Originally, Ozzy was an experiment created to combat a humanoid virus created by accident in a lab. The virus had escaped into the city, and the human-sized cell, and his robotic pill-like partner Drix, were on the case to find him, both of them working as detectives at the NYPD as cover. Ozzy could wear a human disguise, while Drix’s human form was made using holographic technology. After knowing Brooklyn for a few weeks or so, after he had rescued the cell from a couple of street thugs selling guns on the black market, the second in command had trusted Ozzy enough to tell them of their home, for emergencies. And he’d also saved Jones’ life, which was something Ozzy didn’t take lightly. Mythical gargoyles were a lot to take in, but as a detective and a mutant, Ozzy had seen possibly stranger.

Besides, anybody who protected this city as much as he did was okay in his book.

“Ah, cool. I’m Osmosis Jones. And yeah. But it’s a LONG story how I got ta be one.

Y’see, there’s this experiment gone wrong on th’loose, and I was made ta take him down. Goes by th’name’a Thrax. He’s one bad sucka’. A virus, so ta speak. Can burn up folks like an egg on a hot sidewalk. I was followin’ some’a his thugs when I met Brooklyn. If it weren’t fer him, I would’a been blasted inta protoplasm…”

He rubs his neck, glancing away. He probably could’ve handled it, but he admitted without Brooklyn there he would have been toast. But back to the matter at hand; Ozzy was a bit reluctant in explaining to Goliath about his story and mission, but he figured he should. After all, Thrax was starting to get more help for his plan to infect the city, and possibly the world. So maybe it was time he and Drix got some backup of their own.

    “Hmm... This ‘Thrax’ sounds like quite the trouble. I am glad that Brooklyn was able to help.” Now his concern was placed on this virus-being. It would seem that since one of his clan had aided this one, so too would they all be considered a possible threat to the likes of this one. Still, he tried to remain positive, and in knowing that their whereabouts were well-hidden from most individuals. They were all safe, for now.

    “Detective, if I can be of any service to you, you shall have it. If what you’re saying is true, then this Thrax will be a danger to more than this city. The world, even.” He has never heard of so many terrible things before, but the fact that something stood before him, something made by man to counteract a terror like a human-sized virus; Where was he to not believe it? After all, being a Gargoyle was considered strange to most all of these humans, even if they came centuries before humanity was a thought.

    “Where can we find him?”
