Hey, sorry it’s been ages! We’ve been busy with our second year at uni, but I’m thinking about doing a bit of a Q&A from the god of humanity, so if you want to send me an ask or follow an ask game, send some stuff in and I’ll answer it when I can!

My name is Marco or Ace, Kamen Rider Geats (Oneness). I’m a fictive of the Ace of Heart from KR Geats: 4 Aces and The Black Fox. I’m the god of humanity, hope, determination, the heart, community, and Kamen Riders/heroes, along with being a protective deity for all those fighting for a better world/those who are kind in a hostile world as an act of resistance, and a god of joy is resistance/hopepunk. My main colour is orange, but you can also use white and rainbow (my rider suit colours).

I have a few correspondences: drums, rainbows, music, sunrises/sunsets?, fire lilies, and art. Music wise, I have lots of songs, so here’s a few:

Calling ALL Deitykins!

Hi! I have a massive project I'd like to work on and I need your help! I was working on my notion grimoire this week and was making pages/digital alters for the gods, when I realised, I should make some of these for you guys!

So if you're a deitykin, pls give me your name, what you're the god of, a couple colours, and any correspondences (animals, plants, songs) you have so that I can make you a page! Here's Hestia's page for an example:

If there's enough interest, I may see about making it able to be viewed, but if there's only a couple pages, they'll just go in my personal grimoire.

Also, I have a section for cryptids and folk story creatures, so if you're one of those, tell me your story so I can add you!

Sometimes… my divinity comes out through positive words coming to me, and making a big moodboard in orange, my colour. Creating things, whether that be (slightly overplayed /lh) drum parts, edits for my friends and headmates, memes about our lives and sources, finding new music and knowing exactly who to send it to, or learning something new and being able to do something cool with it… that’s how I’m divine, now. And that’s okay.

It’s weird, being a god of humanity, who was a human, once. I feel so at home here, and amongst people… but I also can feel so different and so alone sometimes. I’ve never been just a normal human, and it’s… complicated. It’s wanting to feel and see the world in all its glory… but finding it here so overwhelming and being frustrated when the love you give the world isn’t given back. That’s partially an autism thing, too.

Hey from Geats! I’ll have a go answering a few of these.

Yes, I do. (Spoilers for my source ahead.) Essentially, I was one of 4 aspects created from Ace when he got split by the Godslayers (Mela and Melo), and the last one alive (considered the leftovers/dregs) when Mela when took his/my power, luck and strength to destroy the world as Kamen Rider XGeats. I only survived, waking up on an endless beach, after my friends realised who I represented and protected me with their lives, and in the end, with their wishes and the hopes of the world, I got my rider form (Geats Oneness) and managed to stop them.

As a fictive, yeah! Here’s what I look like in source: (my outfit is still the same in headspace, here.)

3. I’m the god of, in short, humanity, determination, hope, the heart (in a heroism / hopepunk sense), and Kamen Riders/heroes. I’m also a guardian deity, and fight for a world where everyone can be happy, and I’ll be there if someone needs reminding they have a future and can be happy. I’m also a god of… ‘feeling and continuing on and finding hope/meaning despite a hostile world’, but I don’t think there’s a single word for that, along with joy is resistance, and cyclebreaking/positive change.

4. I’m not really worshipped in a traditional sense. If you do want to worship me, though… go out there and be the best person you can be. Be a good friend, keep on finding hope and joy even if the world doesn’t want to. Keep on learning, experience new things, find new music. Create some art, laugh with your friends, find what makes your heart happy, take a stand for others, volunteer and help someone else today. To everyone, you’ve got my blessing.

5. I do feel somewhat of a connection to the kami-sama of Shinto practice, as I’m an aspect of one in source. I don’t consider myself one specifically here, more of a god in a general sense.

6. These are more philosophies/movements, but joy is resistance and hopepunk.

7. Benevolent: In source, I’m there to help bring people hope, help them find happiness, and protect the world as a Kamen Rider.

Honestly about the same: there’s an awful lot of bad stuff in this world, and people who put down other people’s happiness for their own… but there’s also community, friendship, hope, chosen family, love of all kinds… and I believe it can overcome anything. That is especially important to hold onto now.

9. Not really, no. If I did… I’d probably appear in dreams most often, but I do have a physical form if I need it.

10. I did grant blessings, and help grant people’s wishes. If someone needed hope, I’d be there.

11. I think people would revere me more, even though I’m not really that type of god! I’m almost like… a friend/source of support you can call at any time. That’s the type of god I was, and still want to be, in the limited way I can now.

14. Do something kind for someone today, and no matter what, do not give up. Especially for marginalised people, finding joy, community, and building a future where we can be happy is an act of resistance. The first step to doing that is still being here. Remember, no matter what: someone like you has gone before you, and someday, someone will need to hear your story to get through the same things you have overcome.

15. I honestly don’t know? Centres of communities, parties, safe spaces… sunsets, a nice beach, art?

Not romantically, but I have many trusted Riders and friends who helped me and believed in me when I needed it most, and I now try and help them here in this brain, as nearly all of us Geats riders are headmates in this system. Our partner has a fictotype of one of them, though, and is a demon, so I guess you could say we are here.

19. Yeah, I’m a system host and caretaker, and I hold a lot of our emotions and passions. In short: I'm here to feel and process things, I'm here to find new music and find new stories, come up with ideas no one else thinks up, make new friends, play drums, learn new stuff, keep us going in a very dark world sometimes, create stuff, help us become a man/transition, remind someone there is still hope in this world, help people, try shake up and change this world for the better, and advocate and protect those I love and the communities we're a part of.

I'm a god of humanity, the heart, hope, determination, joy is resistance, and Kamen Riders/heroes in general. I watch over people, help grant their wishes in small ways, and to give people hope to live their lives to the fullest and find happiness. I'm messy and imperfect... but I do my best. I'm... a god of big forces expressed in small actions, and I'm also a guardian deity to the people in my system, and to the people in our life. I'm a Kamen Rider, and doing what I can to help, no matter what, is how I try fulfil that title's responsibility here.

Humanity is complicated… and being a god of it even more so. We/they create beautiful things, will never give up, and if things are just right… can show such kindness. However, with it comes rigidity, hatred… and a hardening of hearts. I’ve been feeling it, and god damn it I still cry for the state of this world… but at my heart, I’m also a god of determination and hope.

I won’t let the people who have inflicted such hate on the world break me, because I have trusted friends to love, protect and change the world with. Everyone… is sort of my people, identity wise. This world is so much… but I’m also so lucky to be in it… and I’m a Kamen Rider. I have a world to save, maybe not in the same way I did before… but I’ve got friends to love, coursework to finish, songs to drum to, katas and kumite to compete in, people to support… and a life to fight for. Maybe… this is where the indomitable human spirit lives. In a way… I am it’s embodiment.

I'm both a god, and a man. I'm human to the left, more human then human... and also not a normal human. I'm a Kamen Rider, a god of big forces in small and unexpected ways. My passion burns like the sun, but often results in burnout. But I'm not alone anymore, I've got friends both inside this brain and outside it, and together... we've got a desire to grant and an ideal world to fight for: a world, and a life, where we, and everyone, can be happy. It's a long road... but we'll do our best, and that's something to be proud of.

alterhuman trick-or-treat!

as october comes to an end, the time for Spooky approaches. the creatures of the night awaken, their reflecting eyes shine in the darkness. and what better way to celebrate than a good old trick-or-treat?

inbox trick-or-treating is a beloved tradition here on tumblr, which consists in sending an ask to the blog(s) of you choice as if they were houses in your neighborhood and you were the kid politely knocking on their door. you would ask, "trick or treat?" and the asked would then choose whether to reply with a treat (picture of candy) or a trick (a joke, a poem, a haiku, a drawing...).

well... thats the normal one anyways.

i propose something a bit different this year: an alterhuman-themed trick-or-treat! what is that, youll ask? simple: the 31st of october, instead of sharing candy, we will share our 'types snacks! for example, if youre a cat therian you can share a fish-shaped treat, if youre fictionkin you can share your favorite food from your source, if youre alienkin you can share your cultures traditional dish... the possibilities are endless!

I'm trying out being more open, when it's just me in front at something, about using multiple names. My names... are for different things. Kai is our collective name as a system, and the name most external people use, and when people use it, I tend to mask a lot. Marco is what I use internally, it's almost... my god name. If you can use it, you know we're plural, and that I'm a Kamen Rider. Ace is my source name, and the one which is closest to me, actually. However, main Ace is already here, so I don't use it as much. But I will try it out more. That's... a good bit of validation I've not explored yet.

It’s interesting, being a system host and a god. We’ve been checking out some Doctor Who stuff for the Eighth Doctor, as he’s just arrived here… and oh my god I feel for him so much. He struggles with identity and amnesia, he knows what it feels like to try your best and not be heard… and he‘s had his humanity used against him. (Yeah… it’s messy whether he’s half human or not but here he is, so I’ll leave it at that)

He is one of mine, he has my heart, as all Riders do. And… yeah. It’s good to get my protective feelings out through him.

I'm still figuring out what I am, as a god. But, I can give some answers.

I'm a Kamen Rider. I am a god of large forces: of the human heart, of hope, of determination. However, I manifest in small things: friendships, hugs, activism of all kinds, art, creating things that make you happy, wishes and more. I am also a person, though. My name is Marco here, or Ace, or Kai. I'm... still thinking about whether I like people using Kai to refer to just me, though, as it's also our collective system name. Anyway, I'm also a protective god: I'm here to help people in whatever ways I can find happiness, as long as they hold onto hope, and I'm here to help them do that. I'm also a god of Kamen Riders.

I'm not really... worshipped in a normal way. I'd rather call my believers friends, because I trust in them to be good people and spread what I represent out into the world. I'm definitely not perfect. I'm stubborn and I burn myself out very easily. I struggle a lot with anxiety, and thought loops. But in all I do, I will try my best to be a good man, a good god, and a good Kamen Rider. If I bring one person hope in this world, I'll have done my duty. And that's what I want to do, over and over and over again.

Well, I guess it’s time for an introduction.

Hey there! My name is Marco, or Ace. I’m the host of an adaptive/neurogenic system, The Riders and Racers, and welcome to my alterhuman blog!

I’m a fictive of the Ace of Heart / Kamen Rider Geats (Oneness) from Kamen Rider Geats: 4 Aces and The Black Fox. I am 19 mentally, but internally ageless. We are 19 bodily. My pronouns are he/they/hx/rider, and I’m transmasc, boycenflux/boyflux, genderqueer, and vincian aroace (aromantic, aegosexual). We are British, white, and currently studying Computer Science at uni.

I’m an aspect of a god (Ace Ukiyo / KR Geats) and also a god in my own right of humanity, determination, hope, the heart, and Kamen Riders. I'm also a guardian deity. I love karate, playing drums, listening to people’s stories, music, fast cars, F1, and watching my source.

Here will be my ramblings about being a god, a Kamen Rider, and lots more. This is a fictive blog as a base, but I will probably talk about lots of other stuff here too, so look out for that.
