NEW MODS
It’s been a while since I’ve logged on tumblr, I’ve been focusing a lot on self care lately and I really just haven’t had the time. As for the future of the blog, I’m unsure of my own involvement. Although this blog has never really been all that successful (so far) I don’t want this account to completely die (if it hasn’t already) and that is why I’ll be accepting new mods. I’m unsure of the timeline and amount because it will be based off of how many people apply, but I’m thinking possibly 2-3 new mods will be accepted. I haven’t talked this over with the other mods, they have been unable to do much work on the blog either. However, I am sure they would agree with me, that this safe space that we have built up shouldn’t just disappear. A post containing the application will follow shortly.

I've been identifying as a Demiboy for a month now and I sometimes still feel uncomfortable looking like one. Is this normal or am I identifying as something wrong?
This could be normal, but if you experience discomfort only sometimes, then perhaps you could be genderfluid or genderflux and those times could be changes or fluctuations in your gender. Only you can say for sure, if you are most comfortable with demiboy then you should identify that way.-Mod Lyra

Ok so. I'm confused. I like being a girl, going by girl pronouns, doing girly things, and I'm overall comfortable in the body of a girl but I feel like a guy and I??? I don't want to consider myself generfluid because I strongy believe theres only two genders.
Respectfully, your "belief" is wrong, but I won't go into why, because that's a whole different debate, one which we have already won with science, legality, and morality on our side. What you described doesnt sound like genderfluid to me, you must remember that you don't have to experience dysphoria to be trans. You could certainly be a trans guy while still being comfortable with feminine things. You could also maybe be bigender, being male and female. I strongly suggest you educate yourself on the gender spectrum before questioning any more.-Mod Lyra

Hi so I'm not really sure how to put it but I think I'm gender fluid? Like I'm a girl and I like girly things and I'm fine with people using female pronouns but at the same time there are allot of days where I want to wear guy clothes and be called by he/him pronouns and it's just really stressful and I can't talk to my family about this because I already told them I'm Pan and I know they'll just think I'm seeking attention.
That’s totally valid and okay! If you don’t feel safe talking to family maybe try and talk to a friend about it? You can message me at my personal if you need someone to talk to @ruby--stars

I've always identified as female but I've been confused for years. I don't care about pronouns but I feel extremely uncomfortable with anything feminine. I can't wear dresses, skirts, etc. and I only feel confident in men's clothes (including underwear and I want to try a binder). I keep my hair long but I sometimes feel more comfortable when I hide it under a hat. For some reason, I always worry about not being manly enough then get confused with my worries because I'm apparently a girl.
Although expression does not necessarily equal identity, it may benefit you to try and question if you are a trans guy or not, or perhaps somewhere on the nonbinary spectrum. Feel free to send in any further questions.

Hi! I’m struggling with my gender identity right now... I don’t really feel comfortable expressing myself here... even on anon because I’m a nervous wreck and there’s a chance someone can find out who I am... you kind of get what I’m trying to say lol. Is it alright for me to dm you to ask for help?
Yes of course! My personal account is @ruby–stars, and Addison’s is @tiny-awkward-queer. I would be very happy to help and I’m sure he would too.

Greetings! Since I was a little kid I was taught to act like a girl and wear dresses. I want to act like a normal boy nowadays. I feel very comfortable in my usual clothes but wearing dresses and skirts feels nice to me. I also am in a relationship with someone who thinks I'm a girl (he knows that I'm actually a boy but he doesn't want to accept it). I'm afraid of giving up my usual self but the other me makes me feel somewhat safer. What should I do? (I hope it's okay to share this with you ;;)
It seems like it would be best to express yourself as best you can if thats what you’re comfortable with. If people don’t respect that fact that you are a boy then you should be careful. It may be hard but relationships where people just refuse to accept you can be really toxic. It’s important to surround yourself with those who are 100% supportive of you when you are starting to socially transition.

Hi! I currently identify as a cis girl, but I’ve been recently questioning my gender. I usually dress pretty masculinely and have short hair, but I also like wearing things with flowers and dresses sometimes. When I look in the mirror and say ‘she,’ it just doesn’t sound right. But when I say ‘he’ or ‘they,’ that doesn’t sound right either. Advice?
Questioning gender and pronouns can be really hard! I guess just try and figure out what gender means to you, and try and see how you can relate to it, if at all. Remember identity doesn’t have to equal expression, and that there are lots more pronouns than just he she or they!

Hey there! So a few years ago, I started questioning my gender, but after IDing as genderfluid for a couple months, I decided to just say I'm a cis girl. About six months ago, I started calling myself a lesbian (I thought I was bi since 2013), and I've noticed that even though I like dresses quite a bit, I I rarely wear them. The only times I have recently were for Easter, prom, and homecoming. I usually wear band shirts, flannels, and sweaters (however I do wanna wear some button ups cause ooo-
-those are niiiiiice). I also never wear skirts, and I’m always in jeans. I also really hate having big hips, and I wanna get my breasts reduced so that I don’t look so feminine. I think I’d like either they/them and she/her pronouns, but I’m super freaking confused about myself. I mean, I like the idea of seeming androgynous, but I’m not entirely sure. Do you think this might be gender dysphoria and/or some sort of nb?
Yeah, this could be gender dysphoria. Remember that you’re the only one who can say how you ID, these are just my suggestions, but I would maybe consider the terms demigirl or genderflux based on what you described? Perhaps agender but feminine leaning? Just try and think about how you can relate to the gender spectrum, and hopefully you’ll find a term that best fits you.

I don’t mind being called she/he/they/etc. Writing about myself I use they, not because it’s correct but because I use it when I don’t know someone’s pronouns. Being called a boy/girl doesn’t make me dysphoric – just mildly irritated. I’ve started thinking I might be pangender or agender, but I don’t know which, if either. I don’t feel like I’m rejecting all genders because none of them feel horribly wrong, but I don’t think I have all genders because they all feel not quite right. Any idea?
Based on what you described the only terms that come to mind aside from those you mentioned are demigender or deminonbinary, but if neither of those feel right I would just keep looking for identities until you find one. Remember there’s no need to put a label on your gender if you cant find one (although wanting to is totally valid). Perhaps just identifying as nonbinary or genderqueer would fit? Followers have any suggestions?

Hi, I'm cis female but Ive been questioning how I identify recently. I sort of thought most people felt the same way. I have no problem being seen as female, but I don't think of my physical body as a large part of my existence, kind of like a car? It's a vessel that I have to use, and cars can be different sizes and colors and some people may need to change how people see their car in order for the inner being to feel comfortable? I feel equal draw to masc/fem things, gender roles r made up
How you relate to your body does not necessarily determine your gender, remember that gender is different from biological sex, and that you do not have to experience dysphoria to be trans. I would say keep questioning how you yourself relate to gender, and not just your body. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
