I’m Saja from Gaza… and this is my story under war

My name is Saja. I’m a woman from Gaza, married, and a mother to a little girl who still doesn’t understand why we don’t have bread or why we live in constant darkness. I used to study online, hoping to build a better future for my family. But the war has taken that away. The internet is gone. Electricity is unstable. And now, even food has started disappearing from our homes.

Flour is incredibly scarce, and prices are unbelievably high. We wait in long lines, hoping for just a small bag of flour—and often leave with nothing. Everything has become a struggle… even the simplest things: bread, clean water, and safety.

We try to stay strong, to hold onto the little we have, but life in Gaza today needs a miracle.

I write these words with a heavy heart—not seeking pity, but because I truly need your help. I just want to continue my education, provide food for my daughter, and protect the little hope I have left.

I'm sure plenty of posts have already been made on this, but I'm making my own short post because it seems people are still getting scammed out of money by these scumbags.

If you get any comment on your art like this- block and report. It is a scam.

When you message these accounts, they will ask to commission you to draw a dog. Instead of receiving the payment, you will instead get a fake PayPal email tricking you into sending money to the scammer.

Similar scams exist in art communities everywhere. In general, anyone asking you to send money to them in order to complete a commission transaction is attempting to scam you. There is no situation where this isn't a scam. Stay safe.

What's frustrating about the Musk and Trump thing is that. Like.

It's a distraction.

Trump cancelling the subsidies to electric cars was a campaign promise. That was basically announced months ago, I think Musk just didn't expect Trump to go through with it

And Musk saying Trump is in the Epstein files, is like. We knew. The files are everyone that Epstein associated with, and Trump has photos with the guy. We all knew.

I mean, it's a lot of flash, but to me it does feel like a bit of a nothingburger?

It feels like a distraction.

Even if the emotions are genuine, Trump might be getting encouragement to blow up the relationship so that people are distracted from the many real problems of the Big Beautiful Bill. And also so that the Left feels like there's momentum on Damaging The Right As A Cohesive Block.

So we're distracted, instead of:

Noticing how many Republicans are saying "I wouldn't have voted yes if I'd actually read the BBB"

Paying attention to the new travel ban

Recognizing that this isn't really moving anything

Calling our senators about the insanely stupid tax breaks in the BBB

And any number of other government actions that are shaping up to have real and lasting impacts on us

Presenting: The Elements of Justice! (Mickey Mouse edition)

a couple friends and I created a MLP AU with our characters, imagining what a MLP x Mickey Mouse and Friends show might look like... with our characters as the stand-ins for the Elements of Harmony :]

The general premise is that Mickey is a detective, and the personal favorite private investigator of Walt Disney (our Celestia Stand-in). He goes around solving cases for Equestria, and Walt (who is secretly trying to teach Mickey how to be the next ruler of Equestria) sends him on a mission to acquire a group of ponies that encapsulates the essence of Justice.

So for the first half of the season, Mickey travels around equestria and solves his cases like usual... and coincidently each of our members end up being involved in the cases, usually as suspects. However, they end up helping Mickey solve each mystery using their specific element, revealing to Mickey that they belong in his group.

Oswald is our Luna stand-in, and has beef with Mickey because he was supposed to be the heir to the throne. He can see the writing on the wall and is now resentful towards Mickey and Walt himself.

Mortimer Mouse is named Moneybags now (because I think it's funny), and he's an early season bully who slowly loses relevance as the show goes on and Mickey gains more and more power and influence. Him and Callista go on to marry after the show ends.

Pinkie is an alicorn in this one! Pinkie was an experiment by her parents to create the "perfect" pony, and she came out with both the ability to fly AND magic abilities in general. They have to hid her powers for most of the season to avoid suspicion and attention. Usually this means having Pinkie wear a cape or dress or hat of some kind. Pinkie is also the best flyer on the team.

Speaking of flying, FreckleSweet has the ability to fly but doesn't often do it. RoseWish cannot fly at all... her wings came out too weak to fly when she was born. She can only glide from place to place, as if her wings were a hang glider. She instead focused on wing flexibility, and often uses her wings as if they were a boa. RoseWish's original name when she was in the circus was Calliope, but she changed it after she ran away from that life. She got her cutie mark when she made her debut appearance on the stage post-circus.

Calliope is the only pegasus in her family. Her father and brother are earth ponies, and her sister and mother are unicorns.

GildenWhip is a blank flank, although eventually she gains her cutie mark in the later seasons, probably having something to do with journalism.

Pinkie is also a blank flank, but gains her cutie mark later in the show as well, when she realizes how much fuller and happier she is now that she's free from her parent's grasp. We're thinking that Pinkie's cutie mark will be a heart with wings <3

When Mickey and Company found Pinkie, she was completely gray. As she spends more time with the cast though, her color slowly returned to her for good (think of it like a reverse depressed pinkie pie).

GildenWhip lost her horn in a mysterious accident involving the death of her husband. she refuses to elaborate further.

SwiftHoof is the fastest runner and the physically strongest of the group

Mickey Mouse, despite being an adult, is much shorter than other ponies his age. His magic is quite weak as well...

Pinkie didn't have a name when they first met her, so FreckleSweet just called her "pinkie" as a nickname and the name just stuck.

Speaking of FreckleSweet, she was the first member of the Elements of Justice! SwiftHoof was next, then RoseWish, Then Pinkie, and then GildenWhip. GildenWhip was the hardest to convince to join the team.

SwiftHoof and RoseWish do NOT get along...
