if you give a Shane a floating ghost animation, he’ll ask for an exploding old lady.
Once he’s seen that, he’ll probably ask for hot dog on a skateboard.
when he gives the hot dog a wife and a car, you might try to kill them off-screen … but you’ll probably end up creating an evil twin sister instead.
once he has an evil twin sister, he’ll have to make them have a crab joust … and a backstory … a couple of backstories, actually … hell, throw in a backstory for the crabs while you’re at it …
and you might end up on an alien planet with a holographic corn, unwittingly voicing a cracked egg dictator.
if you give a Shane a floating ghost animation.

i wanna sing some praises for Ryan Bergara real quick, because I just realized how good we’ve got it with him. I was reading this true crime anthology earlier and every single piece about the murder of a woman that had been written by a man left me with this gross feeling. the way they talk about the victim and how she looked and how they wax-poetic about the murderer is just so fucking awful. the black dahlia had this passage about how nothing can change evolution and that “brutal men of the world will always dominate the Elizabeth Shorts” like what the actual fuck.
but this got me thinking about how Ryan Bergara approaches true crime because i have never seen him handle it with anything other than compassion and sympathy for the victim and their loved ones. we tease him about being kind of emotional during supernatural (which i think is fine and somewhat deserved) but i think that’s what makes him such a great person to talk about true crime. he’s very interested in it all, but he also cares deeply about the people effected. not only is he clearly not getting off on the murder of women the way i think a lot of men do, but he gets upset on the behalf of the victim, most noticeably in the JonBenét and Nicole Brown episodes. i don’t really have a closer for this except thanks Ryan for not being a horrible person like seemingly every other male involved in true crime

In celebration of Smeech canonically fucking, here is my sexy human Smeech fanart. The dialogue is from the first chapter of my Smeech/Garce smut fic, which I also unfortunately created.
