Kinda 🧐 about something

Lap of Legends seems like a big event. They spent millions of dollars designing this technology, they reserved Silverstone, they invited all these legends out, they even had Crofty and Karun commentate.

But they only aired it live in the US late at night on channels that aren’t very common. They’re going to “distribute” it in other countries, but have not mentioned how or when. They made a few articles and videos about it on their website/app, but they only made one Instagram post about it.

And then, to top it off, they announce Alex’s contract extension 6 hours later, which obviously is very exciting, but we already knew his contract was until 2025.

It just seems like such a big deal for Williams and motorsport (and Logan) but they kind of buried it under the rug?

Idk, I was very excited for Lap of Legends and I loved it a lot, so I want it to get the attention it deserves.

Tumblr has started throwing random posts from blogs and tags i don’t follow but are semi-related into my feed, so I’m suddenly seeing bizarre takes from corners of fandom i blocked years ago.

Y’all idfk if I’m current experiencing wing shifts or if my back just decided to hurt a tiny bit but there are litteral two spots where my wings should be and those exact spots feel heavy and oddly uncomfortable. I keep getting email notifications that a new Tumblr blog is following me but when I look at my followers, they're not there. Granted, it's super easy to accidentally hit follow when you're just trying to scroll or whatever but, I duuno. This many different blogs accidentally following then unfollowing me feels... weird.

This doesn’t matter and it bothers me to say it but I can’t believe there’s articles and people talking about gen z being “sexless”

It’s such a strange and untrue narrative getting spun up in the media for a number of reasons but also????

Maybe it’s a lil hard to be horny when there’s multiple active genocides going on rn and like half the world is on fire or under water at any given moment??? Like I don’t know perhaps if the world wasn’t falling apart and the youth didn’t have to fix older generations mistakes we’d be passing each other around more instead of attending rallies for our rights.

Maybe I’m bugging but I’m starting to get the feeling that cishetero normative views on sex and sexuality leads people to assume that if kids don’t come out of it or it’s not done a specific way then no sex is happening. Sad but kinda hilarious.

Maybe people are quieter about their sex habits bc as soon as someone experiences sex or gender in a way that even slightly deviates from the norm some group of obsessive lunatics crawl out of the woodworks to try and make it illegal.
