Did you recently hear about the allegations against Gray Haddock? What are your thoughts on the situation?

Things like that are complicated, and with nothing but anonymous statements it’s really impossible to tell what’s actually going on. This isn’t like the Vic Mignogna court drama where we had official court documents to rely on, verified testimonies and deposition transcripts. I don’t think any of us could actually comment on it because we don’t have all the facts. 

But leading isn’t easy, and I say that as someone who does have some scientific knowledge on company structures and leadership. Leading a team is harder than one might think, and what’s actually effective isn’t always what ends up being what people expect. Even if Gray wasn’t a good leader, that doesn’t make him a bad person, and we shouldn’t judge him as a person without knowing what was actually going on.

hey yknow what’s great about gen:lock??

the casting is. pretty much just as diverse as the show. like, on a level I don’t think I’ve ever seen in any animated show before.

racially-accurate voice acting isn’t as common as it should be because studios often don’t go out of their way to cast shows properly and even if the VAs would turn down the role if they knew it should go to someone else, they often can’t because they aren’t told much about the role to avoid information leaks.

so like. the fact that we have Michael B Jordan as Chase, Golshifteh Farahani as Yasaman, Monica Rial as Marin?? that doesn’t happen much. and like, they’re not the only examples!!

and now we have it confirmed that Asia Kate Dillon, a non-binary VA, is playing Val/entina, who’s a non-binary/genderfluid character.

and that’s. really fucking cool.
