Nagito's birthday is both lucky and unlucky. The month is 4, which is considered unlucky because in Japanese "four" and "death" are pronounced the same. However, the day, 28th, is considered lucky because in Chinese, 8 is pronounced similarly to the word "fortune", so 28 symbolizes double fortune.
