I think blocking people, even if they're your followers, is important. there is such a strange culture around blocking people because they take it as a personal attack but honestly, it's setting a boundary and setting space between you and someone you just rather not see. and that's ok.
#I had someone on toyhouse a couple months back compliment my art on my profile comment section#but they did so by saying that they were glad I wasn’t a pedophile and went into detail about their childhood trauma#all right on my comment section for anybody to see#I didn’t reply to that one even tho they were complimenting my art because who on earth compliments someone-#-to their face by saying they’re glad your not a pedo#after a little while I quietly removed the comment. now that I tell this story idk if I blocked them too#but honestly I should have if I didn’t

Uzi cosplay + 1st con experience: success! ✅
Went with my wife (they were Shane from Stardew Valley) and I was paranoid nobody there would be into Murder Drones because I didn't know the vibe of the con.. but people did and took pics wahoo! And I even took one with an N (the last photo) :D
And s/o to the person I saw for a split second who complimented the cosplay as we were leaving... who I only realized after may or may not also be a MD cosplayer... I am sorry!! My brain was dead and the interaction was fast, but you looked rad too wahh >o<
