Found out about Joey's book tour a few weeks back (thank you, tumblr) only to discover that I'll be in Edinburgh for the whole thing except the Edinburgh date which is just after I go home. Sigh.

Only today I discovered that a few of the dates had moved, so I went to check again and, though I can't do the new dates either, what I can do is another date that I didn't even know existed before!

I'm so excited!

And also scared, because it only seemed polite to buy the book while I was at it, but I don't like horror and I don't think I actually want to read it...

I mean, I have no idea how I feel about whatever the hell is coming, but what I do know is that I squee-ed out loud when I saw this adorable little munchkin on my timeline again. And if I watched the entirety of Blood Origin for his three second cameo, you can be damn sure I'll be watching the new series, where I will hopefully get a darn sight more than that.

Even if I only watched the show in the first place because of Cavill in that wig.

Context: I test websitey stuff for a company that sells internet stuffs. To make my job at least passably interesting, I use a lot of pop culture references.

Today's reality: I just placed a fake order for broadband at Kaer Morhen and now I can't stop imagining a guy in a high-vis jacket turning up at the gate and asking a bewildered Witcher where the phone socket is...

Although I will say that having Jaskier, on being denied access to Geralt, immediately start singing about how 'my love for you will never cease' did soften the blow just a touch

Just saw The Witcher S3 trailer at the cinema and am now genuinely devastated I can't watch the whole thing on the big screen.

Turns out when it comes to both Cavill and Batey, bigger is definitely better 😍

Or; Geralt has some feelings after he abandons Jaskier on a mountain. Fortunately Jaskier is far more forgiving than he deserves.
