Leon ALWAYS takes a hot shower and Chris doesn't want to take a shower with him cuz HE'S NOT READY IT'S TOO HOT THERE (not only bc of hot water but also bc of Leon)

I suddenly remembered that i had previously been asked about my AU where Leon is a vampire and Chris is a werewolf

therefore, a full-fledged story for this AU was born in my head (especially because of the art of one of my friends where Leon is a hunter and Chris is a werewolf), but the only thing that i changed is that Leon is now a monster hunter

I've read the Witcher quite a bit, so i think he's something of the same

So the plot is like this: Leon is a wandering monster hunter and one day he happens to get to a small town where, by a lucky coincidence, the mayor of the town needed his help. He asked Leon to find his missing daughter, because he is the only one in the town who has the necessary skills to be able to cope with some kind of monster. Leon agrees, and the mayor offers him to "partner up" with their local butcher (oh yes, that's Chris) to show him the forest. Leon finds him rather creepy and suspicious the first time they see each other in the store, but he decides to focus on his work. Chris agrees to help him, and towards nightfall they go out into the woods in search of the mayor's missing daughter. as a result, a couple of days later, they find her mutilated corpse, and nearby there are traces of large dog paws. the city holds lavish funeral, and Leon never ceases to be tormented by the question of how the girl could be stolen from the town and killed almost without leaving a trace? Still, he can't track down the wolves. and the butcher becomes the first suspect. He knows how to handle meat and he's always in the town, which means he can create a perfect alibi for himself. if only he REALLY had always been in the town. but after a few days, Leon notices that Chris has become more tired and sleepy. he decides to follow him at the end of his working day. Everyone in the town always thought that Chris lived in his store, which looked like a small cozy two-story house, but only Leon found out that Chris went into the woods every night. and also he remembered how Chris, every time they went into the forest together, seemed to divert and isolate him from some specific part of the forest, which was also quite suspicious. as a result, he followed him and found out where he really lives. When Chris approached his house and assumed his more bearish (I think he's a werebear) appearance with ears and a small tail, Leon immediately attacks him with accusations, but Chris quickly knocks him to the ground, pinning him down with strong arms. He growls at him and denies all the accusations, and behind him, a little dryad (this is Rosemary) comes out from behind the half-open door with a candle in her hand. she asks him what's going on, and Chris immediately turns around to her, turning his back on Leon and assuring the baby that everything is fine, she needs to go back to the house, and dad will be back soon. at this moment, Leon realizes that such a man would not be able to kill someone's daughter, he feels his paternal care towards a child who is not even his own

Answering the question of why Chris was tired, i'll just say that he was trying to deal with other werewolves (who killed the mayor's daughter) on his own, so he usually investigated at night, and he also has a small child, whom he also tries to pay attention to and protect from danger

if i keep writing, it turns out to be some kind of fic, so I'd better draw a couple of comics on this au later..
