~Geten’s first Kiss~

headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up

-Was it planned? Well yes...but also no. Let me elaborate.

-For a while you two have been dating. By now you’ve seen him at his ups and his downs. You’ve managed to put up with him and that in itself was a fairly impressive thing to do coming from himself. It’s been a couple a weeks to 2 months but it feels like you’ve been together for years almost. 

-You tended to take things slow with him considering your patience. It showed in the way you waited for him to get his shit together and actually become a little more mature around the house. A lot of first moves were done by you, but only once you’ve waited long enough to see if it was okay. You even started testing the waters with him back then to see if hugs were okay, to which he blushed and grumbled under his breath while opening his arms wide to signal it being okay.

-One of the most important relationship milestones you’ve both not reached yet was the first kiss. Geten has thought about it more and more lately and it’s starting to piss him off. He can’t even focus on training without the mystery of those lips crossing his mind. 

-Were they soft, firm, or in between? How do you kiss? Do you open your mouth wide open or keep it tightly shut? Where do his hands go when kissing? How long would the kiss be? Does it really make you lightheaded like in those stupid romance books he’s read once? All of these questions float around his head like the DVD logo, bouncing in the corners of his mind.

-Tonight was the night he would finally do it! Or so he planned at least...He tried everything. He did those dumbass things like littering the floor with rose petals and making spaghetti dinner to sit by candle light on the kitchen table except the fact he did it in his own special way, meaning:

-He didn’t have roses so he improvised and spread dandelions from outside along the floor. he cracked open a can of spaghetti O’s and poured them into two bowls before lighting a few tealight candles he found in the kitchen drawer. He expected you to be awestruck and romanced when you got home but instead you just laughed at him.

-The longer your laughter carried on, the more frustrated and flustered he had gotten. Finally he quickly stomped to the bedroom with a red face before slamming and locking the door. “Geten wait! I’m-I’m so sor-sorry ha ha!” You tried gathering your breath and calming down the laughter. Finally you gathered yourself enough to knock on the door a few times. “Geten c’mon please open up. I’m sorry I laughed at you!” But your were met with silence.

-It took almost an hour to get him to open the door up. Even then, he kept his eyes away from you. “Hey I’m really sorry I laughed so hard at you. It didn’t suck or anything, but it’s just funny seeing you do something like this since you’re not really the romance type yknow? Geten I appreciate your efforts.” You gently grabbed his shoulder and he finally looked up at you. Although unplanned, it just sorta happened. He leaned over and popped a quick peck onto your soft lips and you gasped. He immediately hid his face from the sudden courage

-It was only moments later that you pulled him into a real first kiss. For once, he began to understand what all those cheesy romance books meant by someone’s head spinning during the kiss. You could be sure of this becoming a fairly constant thing now that he’s had a taste of your lips. It was just fine with you, who could really complain?
