Chapter Summary: Two detectives stay up looking at information on a recently sighted villain, ‘Psyro’. A/N: So excited that i was able to write this. I hope you enjoy this, and keep an eye out for the next chapter! :D

Series Masterlist

The brunette took a sip of the now cold coffee, looking down at the sheets of paper on the table as her eyebrows furrowed.

“Hey Sotoco, any ideas yet?” The man on the other side of the room spoke, his hazel eyes looking up from the folder he had in his hands.

“Not yet” The brunette, Detective Sotoco, replied. She swallowed, trying to get rid of the taste of the shitty coffee she was drinking, and her eyes were, once again, caught on the file she must have looked at at least a thousand times in the past few hours. Running a hand through her hair and rubbing her brownish eyes, she read the contents of the file, just like she had all of the other times that night.

Alias: Psyro Name: Unknown Gender: Unknown Age: Minor (Exact Age Unknown) Classification: Class II, Code Yellow, Villain. Organisations/Allies: The Syndicate, Dealer Last Seen: Madds City Square, 25 / 02 / 2022 Past Crimes: Attempted arson, assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, theft…

And the list went on. Sotoco and her partner, Moomon, had been looking at the same few files on the same few times Psyro was spotted for hours on end. Every minute felt as if it went on for days as they tried to piece together where Psyro, or any other villain (particularly those part of The Syndicate), might be found next, or clues about their identity. Yet, they were unable to find anything. There just wasn’t enough information, and nothing seemed to be hinting at something important. The villain was hiding their tracks, and they were doing it well.

“Hey,” Moomon’s voice interrupted the silence within the small room, as he ran a hand through his blond hair, “maybe we should go home and come back to this tomorrow. We’ve been at it for ages, and I’m sure we’re both tired.”

Sotoco sighed, knowing that Moomon was correct and that it would be best to come back to this tomorrow when it wasn't 11 pm on a Tuesday. “You’re right, it's for the best. Besides, The Hero's League hasn't even given us enough information to find out where they might be next.”

“Yeah, but I’m sure we’ll be able to find something when we can think without wanting to fall asleep. Now c'mon, we should get going, and you should get some rest,” Moomon replied warmly. Sotoco gave a small smile. His words always did cheer her up and calm her.

Detective Sotoco stood up, her chair squeaking slightly when it was moved back, and started to put the files back into the binder. Moomon started to do the same, and Sotoco grabbed her bag as he was finishing up. They started to walk out of the building to go home.

Tomorrow was another day, and they’d hopefully be able to find more information when they weren't so tired.

Series Summary: Tommyinnit’s life gets very interesting when wanted villain Psyro shows up to his new job at Buckley Street Bakery.

A/N: i always watched superhero movies growing up so they hold a special lil place in my heart and every hero/villain au i see for mcyt (more specifically sbi) is just amazing and has such good plot and i was like 'oh hey what if i tried this lol'. So, here we are, 11:01pm with school on in the morning, pulling an all nighter cuz i thought i would unleash my inner motivation (which will disappear by morning). But i enjoyed doing this so i hope you enjoy reading it :]

!NOTICE!: I'm Australian, so the dates will be written how we write them in Australia, which is day/month/year. This makes it easier to write the fanfic. Seasons will be the same as how they are in the Northern Hemisphere because that's where the characters are from. I would like to apologise if I accidentally use any terms that people may not understand (e.g, Most people say "comforter" but here in Australia they're just "Doonas"). If this does happen, please notify me so that i can change it and make it easier for people to read the fanfic. Thank you!
