I don’t understand how so many have stopped supporting Palestine…

I just want to share a piece of my reality: I lost my father and brothers the ones who were my strength and support during this war. Now it’s just me and my sisters, and we’re struggling every single day just to find food.

We sleep to the sound of drones, and danger has become part of our lives — not because we chose this, but because we have no other choice.

People are being killed trying to get a bag of flour or a box of food. Please don’t turn a blind eye. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference for families like mine.

Hello everyone

I’m Ghada Ikrayyem the eldest sister in my family, I’m strong ambitious one who seeks to be a good role model for my sisters and to be an example of a strong woman who breaks all restrictions to achieve her goals. I’m one of the first technicians in the field of photovoltaic solar energy systems in Gaza, which made me one of the most influential women in Palestine. For the year 2021, I won first place in the world in the International Green Skills Competition from the European Union Training Foundation. but the war stole everything from her and brought her back to square one.

I'm still alive after enduring more than 550 days of war and genocide, Yes, genocide... We are placed inside a box that was supposed to be our homeland, as it has been for thousands of years, and we are deprived of food, drink, and medicine, and we are subjected to horrific killing ,displacement, and fear.

Gaza, my beloved home, holds my heart. Yet, as Palestinian refugees residing within its confines, we grapple with the deprivation of our fundamental human rights. For 15 long years,Gaza has endured a suffocating blockade and relentless cycles of escalation, leaving scars on its people and casting shadows over their future. The recent violent conflicts have exacted a heavy toll: schools lie in ruins, health facilities bear the scars of destruction, and families have been uprooted from their homes.

In this crucible of adversity, resilience blooms. We, the people of Gaza, persist—undaunted by hardship, fueled by hope, and yearning for a brighter tomorrow.

I am talking to you now and the sounds of bombing over my head are restless, I lived three wars in Gaza, but it is impossible for me to adapt to this scary voice.

In this war, if we don't die from the bombing, we can die of hunger, death from thirst, death from the cold.. All roads lead to death..

Hi friends, I’m writing this update with a heavy heart from Gaza.

Every day has become a fight for survival. The situation here is getting worse and harder to put into words. Flour, if available, costs over 500 dollars for a single bag. Markets are almost completely empty — no vegetables, no canned food, and barely anything to keep us going. Even if you have money, there’s simply nothing to buy.

This isn’t just about food — it’s about dignity, survival, and the mental toll of living under constant fear and loss. There’s no electricity, no clean water, and no sense of safety. We’re dealing with a genocide, with a man-made famine, and the slow destruction of everything that made life normal.

I’m trying to hold on, not just for myself but for my family, my people. Every day I see them get weaker, and it’s breaking me from the inside. I’ve always tried to be strong and keep going, but I’ll be honest — I’m exhausted. I’m scared. And I need your help.

If you’ve supported my campaign before, I want you to know that your kindness has literally kept us alive till now. It’s the reason I’m still able to write this today. But things are getting worse — and I need your voice, your art, your donations, your prayers — anything that can help us make it through one more day.
