I've actually been keeping up with GH recently (wild!) so here's some misc thoughts:

I'm not ride or die for Liz/Lucky but their 1.0 relationship holds a very special place in my heart, so I was quite upset their first reunion kiss and him rescuing her was with a temp recast :(

I cannot believe we're getting a "Josslyn becomes a WSB agent" storyline before any of Sonny's kids follow him into the mob. Any of them! I'd take Avery at this point! (hey maybe I'm onto something there, she does get it from both sides lol)

if Kristina's not gonna join the mob, at least give her a new girlfriend

not complaining, just amused that Jason is now on his third time pretending to be the father of someone else's baby. he's gotta hold the record for highest number of fake children

when's sweeps, April? I need Willow to find out about Nina/Drew asap

is it just me or have they been chem testing Tracy & Martin? they would be a fun bickering couple

I want someone to tell Lulu the whole saga of Maxie, Brook Lynn, Valentin, and the baby, partially bc it would help her understand Maxie & Brook Lynn's newfound friendship but mostly bc that storyline was peak soapy fun and I want to relive it lol

I only started watching recently, so I've never seen Luke. But he looks like someone domesticated Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka. And got him into organized crime.

Well, never heard him described that way, but it is pretty apt!

The fact that Monica was mentioned so much in today’s episode really makes it hit home that Leslie Charleson is gone, and it’s crazy cause this would have been filmed over a month ago long before she passed away.

But man… hearing Tracy talk about how the spark in Monica is gone and how her health is deteriorating and how afraid she is that if they lose Michael, she may not survive the grief… how Monica is the one that holds the family together, and Stella reassuring her that if the worst happens, she will carry on as the family matriarch. If today was any indication, when they address her death on the show it’s gonna be one hell of a tear jerker.

Oh man what I would have give to see Kristina turn around and say “go fuck yourself” when Natalia had the audacity to say “tell my daughter I love her”

It has been a minute since I've been so viscerally disgusted by a pairing. GH, what the fuck??

I've only watched about three months of Coronation Street in two weeks. I'm addicted. It completely knocks General Hospital and Days of Our Lives (no matter how much I love them) out of the water and into a watery grave. The stories are realistic, the characters are more evenly rotated, and these are characters who look like real people and work unlike the focus on idle rich of American soaps.

Mac ain't the stepfather. He's the father who stepped up.

Man…I’m just thinking. The writers pretty much have a clean slate with Lucky Spencer. We know next to nothing about his life outside of Port Charles. Dudes been on a self discovery sabbatical since Siobhan was murdered in like…2011 lol.

Here’s what we know:

Lucky went to Ireland to mourn and honor his wife Siobhan and got a sign from Jake’s ghost that Aiden was sick and welp…Jake is alive now…so, lord knows who told him. When Aiden got better, he went back to Ireland to find himself.

Laura visited him a lot while he was there. (Off screen)

Then he moved to Africa. Ethan lived with him for a bit too.

Then they got kidnapped and used by Frank Smith in 2015 and it somehow lead to Lucky finding out Jake was alive…(literally none of this story made an ounce of sense. Ron Carlivati was a trash writer and thought he could ride the fan service thinking we would overlook the glaring errors and inconsistencies)

Then he delivered Jake back to Liz where it was mentioned he Skyped with the kids regularly back then, and then he found out Jake Doe was Jason (which obviously it turned out it wasn’t 😬) and Liz was so messy he literally just shook his head and went back to Africa.

We know he attended one of..Nikolas’ funerals 😓, and we know he went to Laura and Kevin’s wedding reception but missed the ceremony due to weather. And he visited Lulu in the institution. All these things happened off screen.

But beyond that the last 9 years have pretty much been a mystery. He could be shady as hell, or a changed grown up mature man, or exactly his father’s son, or just numb from the sheer ridiculousness his life story is.
