for my d&d party's birthdays this year, i drew everyone's characters (or in my DM's case, a couple antagonists!) i'm extremely proud of each of these pieces, it makes me so happy to see them all together

paris alodia is a character i played for a monsterhearts oneshot! it was the day of homecoming, but everything seemed to go wrong when we discovered a ritual and a dead classmate in the middle of the dance... paris is the queen, and as such, has a clique-- consisting of britnee, allison, and the most hated member for absolutely zero reason-- JESSICA. but paris' connections didn't end here, as they also included my friends' characters alexander (paris' wrestler ex-boyfriend from freshman year), agate (paris' football player ex-girlfriend from junior year), and lizzie (NOT another one of paris' exes, but instead her best friend! there is so much tension).

the goopy eldritch form to the right of paris is still her-- just her as her darkest self! did i mention she's the leader of a cult she inherited from her parents and also the potential host body for an eldritch deity? well i have now!

monsterhearts is SUCH a fun system, ive had the honor of both playing in and running oneshots using it, and am excited for future games my group does with it in the future :D

shoutout to the most gorgeous character i've ever created-- valerie darling! valerie is a satyr (level 20!!!) eloquence bard/archfey warlock/beauty cleric. i played valerie in a 'fourshot' called "inexorable inquisition" where our main goal was to take down the director of a terrible group called "the inquisition."

we started this fourshot at level 5, and gained 5 levels for each session following-- as i am extra and love making myself suffer with how much art i want to do, i gave valerie a redesign each part! after designing her level 20 outfit, i think it was all worth it :) we've been told that we'll be able to play these characters again in the future and i absolutely cannot WAIT to go absolutely insane once more as this batshit crazy woman <3

lady dakota caddel, eye of the storm, eminence of lightning (she/they/it) is a kalashtar (level 20!) tempest cleric/storm sorcerer made for a oneshot where one of our main direction was to make the Most Overpowered Characters Ever. and so what better character to make than a pretty lady who gained godhood by overthrowing the very god who gave her her powers in the first place? so yeah! dakota is just that. she travels different planes with an individual named lint (who belongs to my good friend @starrdio-art!) ((and who she ended up proposing to before the big oneshot-ending combat LOL)), striking fear in all the people they come across. drawn january 2023! (dakota's tattoos are under the cut! -- each of them represents a different creature she can summon using find familiar-- except for the dragon. its just cool.))

reighfyl hunt (they/them). its pronounced rifle. yes, like the gun. fire genasi, order of the ghostslayer bloodhunter/gloom stalker ranger. ex-worshipper of tumbleweeds (context is necessary here-- in the setting, tumbleweeds are creatures from a place called gravetown. they come more specifically from a ball pit. the balls in the pit are not balls.) the oneshot reighfyl was played in--tumble trouble--was probably the silliest oneshot i've played in to date. gravetown overall is a silly place, but i was NOT expecting the BBEG of the oneshot to be a giant tumbleweed who was also homophobic. he did more damage the more gay you were (the gayest was reighfyl. shocker). did i mention reighfyl is a huge simp for the patron that runs gravetown? yeah. they are. (they ended up getting to work for him in the end so mission accomplished tbh)

sweet and simple post for tosya keane (any pronouns), a (variant) human eldritch knight fighter i played for an in-person oneshot where we were all students at a military school! it was really silly and didn't go too far into character lore at all, but i still had a ton of fun :) i honestly adore tosya's design LOL i think the pink looks really good against all the blue-purples <3

silas hyde and vitriol jekyll-- a tiefling and a coyote shifter-- are two necromancers that are gay and in love. they are sick and twisted and there's honestly not much else to them besides them being Evil.

silas and vitriol met while in mortuary school, and it was love at first sight for the two. they eventually got married and opened their own funeral home together, and vitriol introduced silas to the evil ways of necromancy.

one day, silas got into an accident, resulting in vitriol writing a ritual to bring him back as a zombie-- only to mess up the process, and exchange his life for silas'. silas' new un-life goal was to find a way to resurrect his husband... except, he's *really* bad at it. he can't even bring a bird back to life.

then he joined the Evil Fan Club and got stuck in an eternal battle with three reality-breaking individuals, never to leave (unless it was tea time. then the Evil Fan Club was stuck in the bathroom of a medieval denny's.)

old art of my most beloved-- grimm (& co.)! (note: candice is not a grimm form, rather their guardian!) grimm is a changeling order of the lycan bloodhunter from gravetown (a, well, town in my dm's homebrew setting, full of chaotic cowboys) that i played in a oneshot called "tragic end" (the end was, in fact, tragic) grimm, as a changeling, has many different forms for many different things! their forms, however, are more or less their own people, just sharing a body with grimm. two of them have updated designs + have reappeared in the setting's recent campaign here! grimm's party unfortunately met their demise in a fight against the eldritch, almost-god like being, nyarla (AKA the all-mother). grimm, for some reason, was fated to live on as knave... (even with their body recently having been discovered to be stolen by a current antagonist in the campaign...)

ascian mauvais (they/she/he) is a pretentious and money-hungry tiefling ("tabaxi") way of mercy monk (who i had the intentions of multiclassing into fighter!) i played in a campaign that was also cut short </3. ascian was born into a family of nobles-- though her father isn't the head of the household, and instead a rakshasa.

once 18, ascian was kicked out of home, turning to odd jobs before being kicked from their small apartment, too. they eventually turned to their childhood rival, lasting only a few months before leaving and returning home-- told they could only stay if they made money at the gladitorial arena as a doctor. ascian went-- only to participate in fights rather than heal the combatants afterwards!

god. he's a freak. i love him.
