Some insane yapping about In Vain

I was insanely yapping my bestie, and I remember I read somewhere that "in vain" was going to be an actual reoccurring motif in epic, it does appear in some songs but it doesn't mean anything cause the song isn't canon

But you know in WHICH SONG IT APPEARS? 600 STRIKE, RIGHT AFTER IN VAIN

Like if Get In The Water is just Poseidon telling Odysseus to kill himself, then In Vain is like if Poseidon wrote the word in his fist, and just started to PUNCH THE SHIT out of Odysseus, and in 600 strike Odysseus says "I watched my friends die in horror, calling their captain IN VAIN" so it's basically like if Ody took Poseidon's hand and started saying "STOP HITTING YOURSELF" with the hand that has In Vain written on it
