GOTS08EP01 This just got to me from a good friend...
Season 8 Episode 1
Here it is!! This is 100% legit! NO IDEA what it took to get this! Doubt, rage, and scream insults all you want. Doesn’t make it any less real.  The original documents are secured by PDF on a secured cloud server. Adobe. Let that sink in. ;) Due to the security of these documents –Only the TEASER and MOST of ACT 1 were ripped out. The final 2 ACTS will be released by the end of the week.
  GOT – S08EP1
           TEASER:
                       - EXTERNAL: Night overhead flyover of an Ancient City. Volantis!
 ·        We are focused on Melisandre’s face which is only half covered by a red hood as large ancient double doors open before her. She enters a throne room. Dozens of scones line the walls – all lit with an eerie yellow flame.
·        She walks towards the end of the room. Red robed guards with faces hidden by red hoods lined on either side of her. Each holding menacing looking halberds. She stops at a raised chair which upon it sits a small, strikingly beautiful dark haired woman with bright eyes – Kinvara!
Kinvara – Welcome back my child. We have been waiting long and patiently for you.
Melisandre bows – It is good to be home.
Kinvara – You were successful.
Melisandre – I was. Ice and Fire are together.
Kinvara smiles – I never doubted you. Does he believe?
Melisandre – He is stubborn. Those that follow him, believe him to be something more. Those that saw him rise from the dead, believe him to be even more than those that did not witness it.
Kinvara nods – Yes. If they only knew. What of the Dragon Queen?
Melisandre – Daenerys has fallen in love with him. And he with her.
Kinvara – Not unexpected.
Melisandre – The flames never show us matters of the heart.
Kinvara –Of course not, even the Lord of Light has no power over that. The Bastard will however break the curse.
Melisandre – There was never a curse.
Kinvara – She believes there was. That’s what matters.
Melisandre – When are we leaving for Westeros?
Kinvara – 3 days. I need you rested before we depart. Your role in all this is not quite finished.
Melisandre – I know. I will be ready.
·        They both look to the center of the room where a large fire sits. Roaring quietly with that same eerie yellow flame as the scones.
Kinvara – He hasn’t spoken to me since the bastard was raised from the dead.
Melisandre – Me either.
Kinvara – I wonder…The Raven you sent said that you saw the Bastard fighting at Winterfell.
Melisandre – Yes. And he did.
Kinvara – Are you certain?
 ·        Back to the fire, it flickers and if we listen close enough we can hear the distant sounds of a battle, men yelling and a dragon roaring and the faint melody of a beautiful song.
    ACT 1:
–External. Winter is Here.  Outside the gates of White Harbor. Dawn.
  ·        Jon Snow is there – covered in furs – riding a black horse. At the front of a huge army. Daenerys, Tyrion, Davos and Jorah are also mounted on horses behind him. Drogon and Rhaegal are flying overhead.
·        Jon is brooding. Staring off into the horizon clear skies lie ahead – something is troubling him. Why are no Ravens flying south?
·        Daenerys is watching him intently.
·        Tyrion also appears troubled but for entirely different reasons than Jon Snow. He pulls up besides Jon and tries to take the wolf by the fangs.
·        Daenerys obviously doesn’t like that Tyrion is going to speak with Jon alone. But she is curious.
Tyrion – We haven’t had much time to talk.
Jon – Can’t say that we have.
Tyrion – Yes I was a bit upset that I hadn’t gotten equal time. We spent nearly a month at sea and I don’t believe we had a proper conversation.
Jon – Not for your lack of trying. Our Queen can almost always get what she wants. And she certainly did not want you or me talking too much.
Tyrion – She fears that I will turn you away from her. Speak to your nobility and your honor.
Jon – Something like that. I did tell her that the first time you mentioned it, I would cut you nose to balls and see what came out.
Tyrion makes a face – You must understand. These things don’t end well Jon. I do not mean to belittle what you and Our Queen feel for each other.
Jon – Then why try? I am already aware of the conversations you had with her, Tyrion. I know what your intentions are.
Tyrion looks scared – You do?
Jon – I know that this type of relationship isn’t the wisest of choices during a time of war.
Tyrion – Right. Of course. Yes. Not wise at all. Which is why –
Jon – But I will not set her aside. Not for anything. Unless she commands me to. And even then I doubt I would.
Tyrion is disappointed – You are as stubborn as your father was.
Jon looks back out at the horizon, the clear skies are gone, and to the northeast he can see a storm forming.
Jon – Not for anything, Tyrion.
Daenerys has now rode up beside them. Her eyes are on Jon.
Daenerys – Everything alright Lord Snow?
Jon – Yes Your Grace. Storm coming from the North East – a big one.
Daenerys – Will we meet it?
Jon – No. We will be riding North West. We should reach the King’s Road by dusk. It would be best if we made camp there.
Daenerys – I agree. Tyrion please inform Ser Jorah and Greyworm that we will march until we meet the King’s Road and break for camp.
Tyrion – Yes Your Grace.
Tyrion lets them ride ahead and waits behind for the others to catch up.
 Daenerys – You alright?
Jon –Yes, he said words and I listened. But in the end, he didn’t get what he wanted.
Daenerys – I never doubted.
Jon grins at her – Yes you did. Just a little.
Daenerys grins back at him – Ok. Maybe a little.
Jon turns to face the North suddenly, a wolf is howling in the distance. A full blown smile appears on his face.
 Daenerys – What is it?
Jon – We’ll have a guest for supper tonight.
Daenerys is confused – A guest? Who?
Jon – Whom.
Daenerys is giving him a look.
Jon - A friend. I think you will like him.
He is looking at her now. Hard.
Daenerys – You keep looking at me like that, Jon Snow, and we will never make it to the King’s Road.
Jon – Well than, we best make it to the King’s Road and make camp then.
 ·        Jon guides his horse closer to her and whispers something incredibly lecherous in her ear. Then he trots ahead leaving her completely flushed.

D&D Interview Today!
David and Dan just did an interview on a Belfast radio station – excerpts below:
This interview was from November 8th
DJ: So you guys are back in town filming the last season of Games of Thrones?
Dan: Yes, right now we’re moving along at a good pace. So far it’s been pretty laid back. The actors have the weekends off –
David: “We don’t, but they do.
Dan: Right – so there’s that.
DJ: So you ended last season with the trifecta of cliffhangers – Jon and Dany bumping uglies, Jon’s true parents and the Night King riding a dead dragon.
Dan: Yup. Around here we call that a Tuesday.
DJ: So let me speak for everyone out there when I ask – What the bloody hell??
David/Dan: ‘Laughter’
Dan: Which part has you up in arms?
David: I bet I know.
DJ: The dragon. How is that dragon even flying? It’s dead.
David: Ok, I was wrong. All yours.
Dan: You know, that’s going to actually be a topic of discussion once it’s revealed that the Night King has Dany’s dragon.
DJ: Fair enough. Ok than. Jon and Dany. They are related.
David: Not by choice. Can’t help who you love. I think that’s pretty much been covered in this show.
DJ: How’s that going to go over?
David: Well, it’s probably going to be complicated. I think many will look back on certain events and realize that certain things were set in motion a long time ago. The rest is just seeing how it plays out.
DJ: Ok – so last thing we got here. The team here has been having this argument since the battle of the bastards. What is up with Jon Snow? Since he came back that is. It’s like he’s been looking for some reason to die. His actions during that episode and even in the episode where he lead the team beyond the wall. Can he die? Does he want to die again?
David: Jon wanted to. When he first came back, he wanted to die again. He didn’t want to be back. He was at peace, he didn’t have to fight anymore.
Dan: He did come back different though. And I think those that notice it, and believe me it’s very subtle, but I can say that will have its moment in this last season.
DJ: He does seem just cut through anything that gets in his way.
David: Also intended. Jon has become probably the most dangerous man in Westeros. At least on the battlefield, he still sucks at politics.
Dan: And lying – really sucks at lying.
DJ: Arya vs Jon.
David: They aren’t the same, that goes to how he came back. If for some reason, she had pissed him off or betrayed him or something really stupid that would never really happen, because they are who they are. Arya wouldn’t stand a chance.
Dan: It would be interesting to see though. We should write something about that.

Some strange happenings going on in Belfast... (self.freefolk)
submitted an hour ago * by TargetAquired691
So there is apparently some drama early on the set of this final season of Game of Thrones. Mostly this a rumor (as not yet 100% confirmed) however the source claims to be close to the production. The drama you ask? Emilia Clarke is absent and according to this source she had requested this time due to an incident regarding her leading man Kit Harrington.
They apparently got into a heated “discussion” during rehearsals a couple weeks ago. Emilia and Kit had their own rehearsals to go through as the cast converged on Belfast and it is quite expected that the majority of their scenes in season 8 will be together.
The source did not make any claims on what the exact topic of the disagreement was, however they did make it clear that it was not related to Game of Thrones.
We will keep you informed as more information comes available.

GRRM mentioning the A Song of Ice and Fire directly or indirectly
Taylor: So it’s true — all of the characters have such big arcs and he’s got them so mapped out in his head that the story is functioning moment to moment but also in these grand story gestures over several seasons, and that’s what makes it so rich. We were in Malta shooting episode ten of the first season, and the show wasn’t a big deal yet and we weren’t being very secretive because nobody cared yet, and [Martin] just sort of mentioned in passing, “Oh well it’s all about Dany and Jon Snow” and at the time I thought, “Really? I thought it was about Sean Bean and Robb Stark?”
But he knew from the very beginning where he was driving and now we’re starting to see that come to fruition. We know that it’s circling tighter and tighter on Dany and Jon and their partnership is starting to form, you know, “fire and ice.”
Renfro: Do you know if he was specific back then about them becoming romantically involved, since that’s really only just become “official” in this latest season seven episode?
Taylor: I can’t say much more about what [Martin] said about where we’re going with Dany and Jon because that leaps ahead into the next season, but to me the revelation was that,at the time, we had a hundred characters and yet he knew it’s about these two.
8/2017 Alan Taylor interview
Why your saga is called A Song of Ice and Fire, because of the Wall and the dragons or is something more beyond that? Oh! That’s the obvious thing but yes, there’s more. People say I was influenced by Robert Frost’s poem, and of course I was, I mean… Fire is love, fire is passion, fire is sexual ardor and all of these things. Ice is betrayal, ice is revenge, ice is… you know, that kind of cold inhumanity and all that stuff is being played out in the books. 2012 GRRM interview.
Revanshe: There is some question as to what “A Song of Ice and Fire” refers to. Some people think it dwells on elements, such as the wall and Others and dragons, while others think it refers more to a character or characters, the favored one being Jon. Any comments?
George_RR_Martin: No comments on that one … except that I am known for titles that have several meanings.
George_RR_Martin: Well, it helps that he has more chapters than anyone else. When I began A GAME OF THRONES, I figured I’d have the same number of chapters for each character, but I soon discovered that would never work. Some had to be more equal than others. Ned is the dominant character in the first book; Tyrion in the second. Tyrion is one character I find very easy to write, as well. The hardest characters are Jon and Dany — in part because they are so removed from the main action, and in part because their chapters have the heaviest “magic quotient.” As I have said in other interviews, the magic needs to be handled very carefully.
-Event Horizon Chat 1999
Shaw: The series title (Song of Ice and Fire) draws on two images that are opposite. With these images, do you mean to suggest that any kind of peace and reconciliation are a lost hope for the people of Westeros?
Martin: No, not necessarily. I think the contrasts of ice and fire, of love and hate, all the things that they symbolize is one of the themes of what the series is about. You can’t really encapsulate that in a nutshell, but that’s certainly a part of it. I like titles that work on several different levels where the title seems to have an obvious meaning but, if you think about it, also a secondary meaning, perhaps even a tertiary. That’s what I’m striving for here.
Shaw: As the novels unfold, Jon becomes increasingly identified with the northern cold and ice, just as Dany is closely tied to the southern heat and fire. Will these two ultimately embody the central image of the series, Ice and Fire?
Martin: That’s certainly one way to interpret it. That’s for my readers to argue out. That may be one possible meaning. There may be a secondary meaning, or a tertiary meaning as well.
-Interview with the Dragon 2003
MARTIN: “Well of course the two outlying ones, the things that are going north of the Wall and Daenerys Targaryen on the other continent with her dragons are of course the Ice and Fire of the title, the Song of of Ice and Fire” 2/23/16 GRRM Interview around 4:40.
Does anyone have any other interviews they’d like to add where George talks about the title? I figured I’d let GRRM’s words speak for themselves.

Kit talks Season 8
“I think you are going to see a shift with Dany and Jon. These are two people who are in love during a time where their responsibilities and duties make that very difficult. If and or when they discover the truth about their connection to each other, I can’t say for certain that will have any influence on their feelings towards each other, I don’t see why it would considering they are Targaryen. But we will just have to see.”
