yes kris is a transgender allegory but i think people forget that they are. actually trans

Dont know how to say it but Kris is THE trans character of all time and THE teenager of all time and I'm 80% sure that the soul we control is their own soul.

(Before anyone says "but we know its the player, it's like in Undertale" it's not incompatible. In Twin Peaks, supernatural elements of the story symbolised abuse, family dynamics etc but they were also real weird and dangerous creatures in the forest)

- when Gasters asks "you" to make a vessel, he's asking Kris to make their perfect body but "No one can choose who they are in this world", which is a sentence a lot of trans teens heard in their lifes, by their parents, their teachers etc. You would like to be different? Too bad, you can't. (Actually, you can but a lot of teens don't get to hear that)

- ofc Kris hates their own soul, they're a teenager. Hating yourself, hating your actions, not knowing who you are... Why did I do that? Why did I say that? Is that really me? Do I like Susie, do I like Noelle, do I like Berdly? Do I want to be mean, do I want to be nice? My voice is not the same because I'm growing up (and people might not recognize me), I feel insecure doing stuff I used to love (like piano), I'm ALWAYS craving food (most teenager stuff ever) and I'm always tired. Life is hard, life is confusing and it would be easier if I could just... tear myself out of my own body. Kris dissociates themself from their own body, from their own brain.
