baby, baby | jjk
Tumblr media
why would jungkook need to entertain other women when you have enough personalities to keep him completely occupied?
husband! jungkook x (kinda crazy!) pregnant!reader
warnings: reader is sooo bratty but very pregnant so it’s justified, jungkook is the president of i 🫶🏼 my wife club, in my mind this is bend my rules jungkook and reader in the future, smut (minors leave immediately), degradation!!!, slapping (only once), spanking, use of the word slut, penetrative sex, bj, i didn’t proofread 💔, i had entirely too much fun writing this (i’m just a silly girl in a non silly world), idk what else, but i love this jungkook and reader
_
Your mood swings had never been worse. you, 4 months pregnant with an even worse attitude than before, were a lot to handle, but your husband was beyond resilient.
Jungkook worked extremely hard as well, owning a big law firm and juggling a needy, pregnant wife who needed his constant attention and love was almost impossible. Well, it was actually just impossible.
He gave you everything you needed; a cleaning lady, a private chef, a masseuse, a personal midwife that would visit you whenever he wouldn’t be able to go to the appointments with you.
But you didn’t want any of that, you simply needed him.
He didn’t work more than he used to, he actually reduced his work hours as much as possible when you two found out about the pregnancy, but that didn’t seem to satisfy you.
Picking fights and using his ‘absence’ against him was now your go to, but jungkook was always calm with you, simply saying ‘baby, it’s just 9 hours and you sleep through half of them anyway.’
sometimes, the problem was his calmness.
You thought back to those days where you were dating, or engaged and you would have the arguments that would lead to the filthiest, roughest sex. You missed seeing his face scrunch up, his nostrils flare up and his eyes darken.
He was always your sweet, understanding jungkook, but back then, it was easier to make him lose his cool.
Ever since you got married, he became a big softie, never raising his voice, even when you did and never showing you the fiery side that you could not admit you yearned for. You could do or say anything and he would simply listen and abide. Especially while pregnant.
You obviously loved him for it and thanked God for giving you a husband as wonderful as Jungkook, but since you got pregnant, you started craving the jungkook that would voice his anger and later, turn it into passion.
You didn’t know if it was something about your hormones changing and what-not, but you just simply knew you needed him to react to your brattiness the way he used to.
Longing for the Jungkook that would put you in your place, you (semi-unintentionally) went on a mission to bring him back.
_
You woke up and waddled your way to the spacious kitchen, where you found jungkook making a big breakfast for you two - it was his day off after all.
Once he saw you, his face broke out in a huge smile and he kissed your lips softly. “good morning, my baby, how are you?”
You simply huffed, taking a bite of the crispy bacon. your lips were pouted and your eyes slightly squinted.
Jungkook was not even confused by your behavior, he was already used to not being able to foresee your mood.
“What’s wrong, yn?”, he carefully asked, planting a kiss on your forehead, resting a hand on your growing belly. “did you sleep well?”
You just shook your head in response and turned your back on him.
“How could i sleep well??”, your dramatic response caused him to slightly chuckle under his breath. “you cheated on me!!”
That accusation made jungkook drop everything he was doing and look at you with the most questioning face he could muster; what could possibly make you believe he cheated on you?
“huh?”, was all he was able to say.
You rolled your eyes and lightly, but not playfully punched his arm. “I saw you with that girl last night! you were kissing her and whispering things into her ear..”
Jungkook’s confusion seemed to grow even stronger, trying to understand how you could be so serious and sure of something that never happened.
“Baby, i don’t know what you’re talking about”, he expressed his confusion very calmly, a soothing hand running over your arm. “you do know i was with you the whole night last night?”
“That was before!”, you let out, which confused him even more. “I went to sleep.. and i saw you there in bed with .. her and you were so in love.. how could you do that to me, jungkook??”
Actual tears formed in your eyes, shaking your head in disbelief.
“Babyy”, he cooed and wiped away some tears from your face. “that happened in your dream, it wasn’t real at all. i promise i’d never do that to you, princess.”
“But”, you sobbed silently. “it felt so so real.”
Jungkook took you into his arms and gently held and swayed you, of course not without adding a kiss on your head.
“I’m sorry, baby”, he muttered genuinely against your head. “if i ever do that again in your dreams, i’ll make sure to make it up to you, okay? i’m sorry, please forgive me.”
You nodded, against his chest, which had been dampened by your tears. “okay.. i guess i’ll forgive you.”
Not all days started off this way, of course, some days you would wake up and attack him with kisses, some others you wouldn’t wake up until after he’s gone to work (which meant waking up to a handwritten note from him) and then there were days where you would either find a reason to be mad at him or hold onto him so tightly and tell him not to go and then get whiny when he did go.
It wasn’t just your desperation to get fucked hard, it was also just the fact that you, for some reason (pregnancy), felt lonelier and more bored than ever before.
You can only go on shopping sprees and sit in cafés and gossip with your friends a certain amount of times before you get super bored.
At least before the pregnancy you were a working woman, which was not that fun either to be fair but at least you were productive.
Jungkook suppressed a chuckle and just held you for a while.
Despite you being so difficult sometimes, he enjoyed every single moment.
_
The worst thing about being pregnant was, without a doubt, the sleep. you were actually a side sleeper and for obvious reasons that wasn’t possible at the moment.
You had about an hour of actual sleep (and it wasn’t even satisfying) before you gave up trying and just decided to sit on the bed with your hands dramatically resting on your belly.
One thing ran through your mind like usain bolt; food. You tried to think of any snacks you had in the house but quickly remembered you ate them all the other day and didn’t restock.
Watching and low key envying the way your husband was peacefully sleeping with his pretty snores and his even prettier face, shirtless as he always slept. You suddenly had an idea.
“Jungkook”, you softly nudged his naked arm.
He didn’t budge.
“Jungkooook”, you repeated, dragging out his name and softly poking his nose.
A low grunt escaped his lips as he slowly started to stir.
You leaned closer, brushing your lips against his ear. “jungkook, wake up.”
Once his body recognized you were talking to him, he jolted up with wide eyes. “what?! what’s wrong?? are you okay? is it the baby?”
He was now sitting up straight, rubbing the sleep from his eyes to be able to properly see you.
You pouted, dramatically nodding. “the baby’s hungry.”
“Huh?”
“The baby wants snacks. and we don’t have snacks at home.”
Jungkook glanced at the clock and said, “baby.. it’s almost three in the morning.”
You tilted your head and adorably shrugged your shoulders, lips still pouty. “well, your child doesn’t know the concept of time yet.”
With a groan, jungkook got up and stretched.
“What kind of snacks do you want, baby?”, he asked mid stretch, before putting on a shirt.
“All of them”, was your ambiguous answer. “I want sweet, sour and salty stuff. If that cookie store on Bel Air drive is open, get me three of the marshmallow-filled ones.”
“Alright, baby”, he leaned down to kiss you. “You just text me whatever you need. I’ll be right back. I love you.”
you grinned up at him, so satisfied with his lenience and kissed him again, “i love you more.”
Simultaneously hearing the car start and your stomach rumbling, you found yourself trying to occupy your mind with something other than food, but you were so impatient.
Moments later, your phone rang.
Incoming FaceTime Call from Hubby🧎🏽‍♀️
You immediately picked up. “Hey.”
Jungkook’s still sleepy face took over your phone screen, seemingly looking down at something. “Hey, baby, just wanted to make sure these are the sour patches you like.”
He went on to show a bag of sour patches, holding it up for the camera.
You squinted, dramatic as always. “hmm… those are the right ones. but get two. the baby’s feeling greedy.”
He chuckled softly, rubbing a hand over his face. “you sure it’s the baby?”
“Are you calling me greedy?” you gasped, clutching your chest as if he’d just committed a felony.
“I would never, baby”, he chuckled again, his raspy voice doing things to you.
While he was still out, being your knight in shining armor, you decided to pull out your wedding photo album (something that never failed to make you break out in tears) and look through every single picture taken that day.
It was by far the most precious day of your life. a destination wedding in a venetian palace, just as you had requested (of course jungkook had to fulfill your wish).
Before you could even flip to the second page, your eyes started to water.
He was so handsome that day, even more than normal, which was a very hard thing to achieve and the way he looked at you.. ugh.
Pictures of him kissing your hands, your photoshoot on the palace stairs and the gondola brought back instant memories.
The calming melodies of ‘over and over’ by Bobby Vinton replayed in your mind.
you swore you could hear the ‘wows’ of the guests as you walked down the aisle in your wedding dress, a breathtaking dress designed by Elie Saab himself, and see a teary eyed Jungkook waiting for you at the altar.
you couldn’t even hear the front door open, that was how invested you were.
“Baby?”, Jungkook’s concerned voice interrupted your crying. “what happened?”
you got up from your spot and walked up to him, directly throwing yourself into his arms, which resulted in him dropping the bag of snacks on the ground.
“i missed you.”, you sniffled against his neck and kissed it.
jungkook coo’ed at you and swayed you gently.
“I was gone for 20 minutes.”, he murmured against your hair.
“but..”, your voice started to quiver a little. “that’s way too long.”
he held onto you for a while, “i know, baby, i know” and then ultimately let go to grab the snacks. “alright, what do you want to eat first?”
you both sat on the bed and he dumps all the snacks onto the bed. your mouth started watering; a whole lot of chips, cookies, sour patch kids, drinks and chocolate bars.
that man knew the way to your heart and walked it.
you instantly grabbed a cookie and bit into it, groaning, “oh my god.. this is so good right now. just what we needed.”
holding it up for jungkook to take a bite, he chuckled and took a big bite.
suddenly, you felt a kick in your stomach and excitedly waved your hands, pointing at your stomach. “oh my god, the baby is kicking. i think it’s trying to say thank you to daddy.”
ever since you got pregnant, you and jungkook became the cheesiest couple you swore you would never become but here you were.
jungkook instinctively laid his head on your stomach gently to hear the kick, before he kissed it lovingly.
“hey, baby”, he whispered against it. “mommy and daddy love you so much and we can’t wait to meet you.”
your heart warmed at the sight of jungkook being such an amazing dad; it made you want to give him everything. your eyes traveled back to the photo album that was now back in its original place.
brushing through his dark hair soothingly, you watched him with an amount of adoration that was so palpable.
the baby kicked again.
“i think the baby likes your voice.”, you noted softly. “it kicks whenever you’re around.”
jungkook couldn’t help but smile, now his head was sleepily pressed against your chest, which was obviously his favorite place in the world. “i’m its daddy, of course it love me.”
you scoffed jokingly. “well, it better love me more, i’m the one carrying it.”
that made jungkook let out a laugh. “of course, baby. you shall be the most beloved.”
you stayed in your positions for a moment in silence and then, you felt and heard Jungkook’s cute snores against your chest.
poor him, he had to wake up for work just 4 hours later.
not much later, you also felt yourself getting closer to sleeping.
_
You felt a little bad about waking Jungkook up at night when he had work in the morning.
So, you decided to make him lunch and visit him at the office, like the good wife you were.
You packed plain white rice, sautéed veggies, and some grilled chicken along with a spicy sauce (what can you say, your husband loved spicy food). It wasn’t much, but the expectations for you weren’t high right now.
Besides, the lunch was just a front to have an excuse to see your husband. You needed to look good, so while it took you less than half an hour to prepare the food, it took you an hour to pick out an outfit and do your makeup.
You opted for a flowy pink sundress that showcased your little baby bump you had grown to adore. You were pregnant, not exempt from looking gorgeous.
You checked the stove, called the driver, made sure your keys were in your bag, and finally, he arrived.
“Where to, Mrs. Jeon?” your driver, Mr. Petrov, greeted you with his usual kindness.
He had been driving you everywhere since your 21st birthday. You admitted to Jungkook a couple months before that you hated driving, so he got you a personal driver for your birthday. In a way, you considered him family — an uncle or something like that.
After all, he had witnessed your relationship through almost all its stages: from being a couple, to becoming engaged, then married, and finally, soon-to-be parents.
“To my husband,” you replied eagerly. “I want to bring him lunch.”
The drive went by as it always did: Mr. Petrov telling you stories about his teenage daughters that you always loved hearing, asking about Jungkook’s wellbeing (which you found adorable), and, of course, giving you parenting advice.
Once you arrived at your destination, Mr. Petrov made sure to help you out of the car (the privilege and disadvantage of being pregnant; people always thought you were incapable of doing anything by yourself) and watched you enter the building to make sure you got in safely before driving away.
The building was as tall as ever. The guard immediately recognized you and personally escorted you to the elevator.
Your walk was confident (at least you thought so). Despite your pregnant self, you looked like you owned the place — which, you kind of did since it was your husband’s company.
The receptionists and all his employees already knew you; you liked to think you had built a good relationship with them. As the boss’s wife, you took that responsibility seriously.
The elevator doors opened to the executive floor and you waddled out toward Jungkook’s assistant.
“Mrs. Jeon, how good to see you!” she greeted you eagerly, with her usual nervousness. “Mr. Jeon is in a meeting right now. He should be done very soon.”
You thanked her and made your way to the meeting room. Through the glass windows, you could see your husband in action, ever the perfect businessman.
He looked so effortlessly commanding and authoritative, but there was a hint of tiredness in his eyes you couldn’t overlook.
Your eyes met his and suddenly, his entire posture changed; the tension in his shoulders softened and a small smile formed on his handsome face.
You waved, and for about four minutes, you waited — which in pregnancy minutes felt like an hour.
He rushed to you once he dismissed all the meeting participants, giving you a tight hug, careful not to press on your belly.
“Hey, beautiful,” he uttered, placing a kiss on your forehead. “What are you doing here?”
“I came to see my handsome husband and I brought him lunch,” you smiled. “You look so tired. I feel bad for waking you up so late.”
Jungkook shook his head gently, adoring you with his gaze. “Don’t feel bad,” he murmured. “Let’s go to my office. I’m starving; I want to eat that food you made.”
He sat down at his desk and you positioned yourself on his lap immediately, not needing an invitation, pulling the lunch out of your Goyard bag.
“Eat,” you practically demanded, handing him the spoon.
Jungkook, who had been hungry for a while, immediately dug in, taking big spoonfuls of the food. He offered you some, but you informed him you already ate at home.
“This is so good,” he mumbled through a mouthful, scrunching up his nose like he always did when something tasted especially delicious.
Of course, you loved seeing him like that — and even more when you were the reason.
He quickly finished his food and went back to giving you all of his attention, his hands drawing soothing circles on your back.
“Do you love me?” you asked out of nowhere.
“Yes,” Jungkook didn’t even hesitate to answer.
Nor was he weirded out or surprised by your randomness.
“Would you still love me if I shaved my head?”
Jungkook chuckled, his hands now gripping your waist. “Yes, you’d still be the prettiest woman in the world.”
Your heart smiled. You lazily traced his sharp jawline.
“What if I were a worm?” you asked; it was a question you had asked a million times before.
“Ugh, that question,” he feigned annoyance. “How would I even know it’s you? Hypothetically, if I saw a worm, how would I know?”
Hand on your chest, you pretended to be offended, much to Jungkook’s amusement. “If your wife, I, were to suddenly vanish from your life, you’re telling me you wouldn’t look for me everywhere and in everything?”
He shook his head again.
“Of course I would!” he explained, the smile never leaving his lips. “I just wouldn’t think you’d turn into a worm… more like a fox or a lynx.”
You giggled. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
_
“I need everything to be perfect!”
The workers didn’t know whether to admire your dedication or be scared of you; either way, they appreciated the hefty sum and the hospitality they were given.
The decorations for today were carefully chosen by you (Jungkook was allowed input too, but not too much). You opted for a classy lavender theme and wore a white maternity dress that perfectly sat on your body.
Today was an especially special day: the gender reveal party for the demon living inside you.
Your sister was picking up the cake that you insisted had to be a white chocolate cake with cream pistachio frosting.
Jungkook was in charge of the guests; he made sure they all arrived safely and were taken care of.
There were, to the surprise of absolutely no one, a lot of guests: besides your and Jungkook’s close and extended family, there were your numerous friends, a few of his workers, neighbors, a couple of women from your prenatal Pilates class, and of course, Mr. Petrov and his family.
You already knew his two daughters; they were self-proclaimed fans of yours. “I want to be just like you when I’m older, Mrs. Jeon.”
“Hi, sweeties.” As soon as you saw them, you hugged them. “How are you guys? I missed you.”
They were practically squealing at the sight of your pregnant stomach, exclaiming how “Wow, your stomach grew so much!” which was received with laughter.
“Girls, has no one taught you basic manners?” Mr. Petrov scolded his daughters semi-jokingly in his thick accent. “Seriously, who raised you?”
The girls didn’t even bother to look at their dad, simply too in awe of how beautiful and pregnant you were.
“That kid is gonna be so gorgeous!” Natasha spoke with excitement. “I mean, with your genes and then Mr. Jeon’s… oh my god.”
“Oh, thank you, my love,” you patted her cheek lovingly.
More guests kept arriving, which left Jungkook, who was very used to being in charge, looking like the perfect host he was.
“Seriously, I hope it’s a boy,” Daria admitted, an eager look on her face. “So we can raise him to be a gentleman.”
That statement quickly turned into an argument between the two sisters; Natasha wanted a girl, and Daria wanted a boy.
You, wanting to give them a bit of space in their sisterly fighting, made sure to greet all the other guests after offering Mr. Petrov a drink.
Jungkook had a moment to spare, using it to make sure you were doing okay. He came over to you, placing a hand on your back. “How’s my princess doing?”
You instinctively put a hand on your stomach (something you did quite often these days) and gently smiled at him. “I’m doing well, just waiting for my sister to come through with the cake…”
“Is the photographer already here?” you suddenly started panicking, realizing you momentarily forgot about somebody.
Jungkook tapped you on the shoulder reassuringly. “Relax, he’s right there by the bar.”
That didn’t reassure you though; on the contrary. “Why is he drinking?! That could mess up all the pictures. Oh my god… Jungkook, go and tell him to stop drinking!”
You pushed him toward the bar and immediately left, leaving him with no other choice but to actually go up to the photographer and prevent him from drinking.
Right then, your sister finally arrived with a huge cake box in her hand, puffing from the sheer weight of it. “…I’m here, oof… damn!”
Just as you wanted to go over and help her, your dad took it from her hand and placed it onto the table.
The cake arrived, the buffet looked good, the music was great, the kids were having fun on the bouncy castle, the adults were happy about the free drinks and food, and there was nothing to complain about…
Jungkook was hoping you would not find anything to complain about.
“I’m so excited,” your fingers almost trembling as you wrapped them around Jungkook’s big arms. “Do I even want to know? Like… what if we waited until I give birth to know… so many moms do that, maybe I should too.”
Jungkook couldn’t believe his ears; first, you turned the entire world upside down to make this party as epic as you could, and now, you were practically objecting to it.
“Baby,” he spoke ever so gently. “You’ve been wanting this for a long time now. You’re just nervous, don’t worry. We’ll know the gender and nothing bad will happen regardless.”
You nodded, biting your lip. “Okay.”
A few hours of dancing, gift opening, and games passed, and now you were all ready to witness the sole reason for this party.
When you were planning the gender reveal party, you wanted something classic and simple for the reveal.
The good old cutting into the cake to find out the gender. Nothing more, nothing less.
So, there you both were, standing in front of the podium where the cake sat in all its glory. Your shorter body was in front of Jungkook, and he was positioned right behind you, his hand on yours, both holding the knife.
Your heart pounded; you didn’t even know why. This wasn’t even an anxiety-inducing situation. Your hormones were messing you up.
All the guests were watching curiously and with full attention as you and Jungkook cut a piece of cake.
The frosting was pink. Cheers broke out.
“It’s a girl!” Jungkook announced with joy in his voice, hugging you so tightly.
You, of course, cried tears of happiness. “I can’t believe we’re having a little baby girl…”
He kissed you on the lips passionately, both of you completely forgetting the camera and the guests.
“She’s gonna be a handful,” he joked, holding your chin and caressing your tear-stained cheeks. Finally, you laughed.
He was probably right.
“Oh, absolutely,” you agreed with him. “But you’re gonna spoil her, so it’s gonna be all on you.”
Jungkook couldn’t deny it, so he just tilted his head. “What can I say? It’s my thing.”
_
it was dinner time, your favorite time of the day. on most days, dinner is the only meal you really got to sit with Jungkook and enjoy the food, unlike the hurried breakfasts and the lunch that you either eat together during his ‘break’ or just completely separately.
that’s why you got so annoyed whenever something distracted him from dinner; this was supposed to be your time together.
you crossed your arms, nostrils flaring while he was on the phone with Selene, a new employee of his that seemed to come to him whenever she was overwhelmed or unfamiliar with something at work.
you completely understood that this was a new job for her but you didn’t particularly like that she felt the need to call your husband outside of work; if she needed help, she could just ask any other employee.
it was excessive.
“Yes, i’ll tell Jason to bring a copy too”, jungkook spoke into the phone, his tone professional. “don’t worry about the presentation, the material you showed me today was good.”
fighting the urge to roll your eyes, you very passive aggressively poured juice into your glass and drank it.
“finally.”, you said once they hung up.
jungkook’s eyes narrowed a little but he didn’t say anything, he just scooped some more rice onto his plate.
“she just needed some help, baby.”, he explained after he noticed your sour expression wasn’t going anywhere.
“pf. why are you even talking to her outside of work? what’s so important that can’t wait until literally tomorrow morning?!”, you spewed, louder than intended. “and you just pick up, ugh. you should’ve ignored her but nooo, of course you had to pick up.. almost like that phone call is more important than having dinner with your wife.”
“yn.. that was a 2 minute conversation.”, he started getting more irritated by the second. “what are you even implying here? do you think i’m cheating on you cause i answered my employee’s phone call?”
“i don’t know, maybe you are.”
you were so obviously trying to push his buttons and see how far you can go; you wondered if he noticed or if he didn’t.
he knew you knew he would never ever cheat, perhaps that’s why the accusation irritated him even more.
“yn, don’t piss me off. you know damn well i would never cheat.”, he spoke with fire in his voice. “and why would i? you have enough personalities to keep me completely fucking occupied.”
it was true that you were a woman of multitudes and normally, you would have laughed at that statement but you could not give him the satisfaction.
you knew you were getting closer to your goal; he already looked like his veins were about to pop.
it wasn’t like he didn’t know how you were; he had to endure you every single day of his life, but he was bound to break eventually.
suppressing a smile, you simply huffed and stated, “that’s honestly hard to believe.”
jungkook’s nostrils flared and he looked down at you with an expression you hadn’t seen in months.
you were looking up at him with big eyes, your hand on your hips as you seized his reaction.
“yn..”, he fought the urge to raise his voice but ultimately lost. “i’m so serious right now, do not piss me off. i’ve been so damn patient with you.. i forgot that’s not the fucking way to deal with you..”
his hands were now gripping your waist tightly; if it hadn’t felt so damn good, it would probably hurt.
“what is the way to deal with me then?”, your voice was soft, almost angelic as you held eye contact with his fiery eyes.
“you know.”, he lowly spoke against your lips.
“no”, pushing him further and further, you held onto his muscular arm. “show me.”
that was when he crashed his lips into yours with a sense of desperation mirroring your own, his hands roaming your body like he memorized it. he gripped your ass hard, getting you to jump and wrap your legs around his waist.
your baby bump wasn’t making any type of difficulty for either of you, thank God.
he carried you all the way to the couch and practically (yet very carefully) threw you onto it. he quickly took off your night gown and threw it aside, before taking off his own shirt.
“is that what you want?”, jungkook’s voice was now merely a growl as he started undoing his pants. “to get fucked hard? huh?”
his pants were off, leaving him in only his boxer shorts; the sight delicious.
the wetness in your pussy was almost unbearable at that point, even pressing your legs together didn’t help.
you nodded, reaching for his boxers and kneading his dick almost desperately, before completely taking them off, revealing his hard dick.
as horny and perverted as that sounded, there was almost nothing in the entire world you loved as much as seeing Jungkook like that. So in control, yet so needy for you.
there was already precum on the tip of it, you licked it off.
jungkook reacted with a groaned ‘fuck’.
you wrapped your hands around his thick shaft and massaged it up and down, then gently wrapped your full lips around it, sucking it while holding eye contact. his moans continued.
despite you barely being able to take all of him at the same time, he thrust his dick further and further into your mouth, making it difficult to breathe.
“you can take it, baby.”, he breathed, hands gripping your hair. “you run your mouth all day long, this shouldn’t be so hard for you.”
you let out a groan, pressing your legs tighter together.
Tears began to prick at the corners of your eyes, but you enjoyed the feeling of his dick in your mouth. you moaned around it, big, innocent eyes meeting his.
he rammed his dick into your mouth in steady, aggressive motions, making you choke on it, causing your saliva to coat his dick.
the moans that he released were enough to make your head dizzy; you were nothing but mush.
your face was now a teary mess.
before he could cum, jungkook pulled back suddenly, his dick sliding out of your mouth and slapping gently against his lower abdomen. he grabbed your jaw and said, “i’m not gonna cum in your mouth.”
you knew what he was doing, he was being an asshole. he was aware of how much you loved swallowing his cum or even having his cum all over your face and he denied you of it. your brows furrowed just slightly.
You whimpered, the ache between your thighs unbearable. “Then where?”
he didn’t verbally respond, simply putting his big hands on your thighs and separating your legs roughly, making you gasp. he pushed two fingers inside your wet mess of a pussy without warning and started curling them teasingly.
“fuck”, he let out. “that pussy’s so fucking wet.. shit, you fucking love making me mad.”
you started desperately grinding against his fingers but he removed them before you could truly enjoy it, grabbing your jaw again and approaches your face so you’re facing each other directly, breathing against your lips. “open your mouth.”
you obeyed. then, he spit in your mouth.
“swallow it.”, he demanded.
you swallowed.
“good girl.”
“jungkook..”, you whimpered, overwhelmed by your own arousal, needy for any kind of friction.
jungkook just pressed his index finger to his lips, signaling you to be quiet. “you don’t get to talk right now.”
that was what you were waiting for for a while; the sheer dominance and degradation that jungkook seemed to have shyed away from lately. you were craving the side of him that completely shut you down and put you in your place.
he pumped his dick before slightly bending his legs to teasingly slowly slap his dick on your wet pussy. your breath hitched and jungkook smirked at your state.
“i don’t think you deserve to get fucked.”, he declared after almost slipping his dick in, enjoying the power he had over you entirely too much. “good wives get dicked down.. the ones that obey their husbands.. and don’t drive them insane.. not spoiled brats like you who don’t know when to shut up.”
with every breath, he slipped his tip in and out, causing you to arch your hips up in desperation.
“please”, you begged with almost tears in your eyes. “i’m gonna be good, i’m gonna be so good, jungkook.”
jungkook laughed, almost evilly, and breathed through his teeth. “i don’t believe that.”
you reached for him and clung both your arms around the broad shoulders you were unhealthily obsessed with and hid your face in his chest.
you sniffled with teary eyes. “but i promise.. please.. please just put it in.”
with that he entered you, completely too slow for your liking. your head curled back at the pleasure.
he started thrusting very slowly, teasingly so, his breath getting heavier against your ear, before he began fastening the pressure.
the thrusts were so deep, he made sure to hit the spot right. his grip was almost unbearably strong, making your fingers tangle in the hair at the nape of his neck.
his lips moved to your full breasts, taking your hard nipples in his mouth and sucking on them.
“still so fucking tight.”, he groaned, before crashing his lips against yours.
your whiny moans met his as he suddenly picked you up, his dick never slipping out.
before you could realize, your naked back hit a cold wall, making you gasp.
the angle made it easier for jungkook to completely plow into you mercilessly.
you were so lost in the moment, almost felt like you were in heat. you didn’t think, you couldn’t.
the sounds of slapping skin and wet arousal spread across the room.
jungkook slammed his hips against yours, his jaw clenched and his eyes dark with hunger. “don’t forget your place, yn. you exist to get fucked by your husband and do as he says, not disobey him.”
you knew this was all just sex talk, this wasn’t truly what he believed but God.. you wouldn’t be mad if it were. you instinctively clenched around him, replying with soft cries.
“shit.. look at you”, the strokes became harder with every second. “even pregnancy can’t stop you from being a dick crazy slut, huh?”
his pace was relentless, yet steady. he held onto your hips, controlling your movements, ensuring you take every single inch of him.
When all you could manage were broken, whiny moans, he seized your jaw in a tight grip and delivered a sharp slap across your cheek.
You gasped, the sting spreading warmly across your skin and you both knew you loved it.
“Answer me when I speak to you, fucking slut,” he growled, his fingers digging harder into your jaw.
“yes, jungkook.. please don’t stop.”, you whimpered with teary eyes. “i love that dick so much, ah.. i’m just.. a fucking whore for you.”
a wicked grin tugged at his lips as his thrusts became gradually slower, yet deeper.
“that’s right,” he growled, “that’s what you were made for, to get fucked and bred. the only thing you’re good for.”
you clutched his neck even tighter, hiding your fucked out face in his shoulders, moans spilling out shamelessly.
you could practically feel your pussy juice dripping on his dick, your body tightening against his as you felt your climax nearing.
“kookie..,” you whimpered, voice trembling, “please… don’t stop. I need you. I’m so close.”
he only nodded as he continued with the same force, driving you closer to the edge with every brutal thrust. a mixture of moans and sobs flooding the room.
your entire body tensed with the last couple of thrusts and waves of uncontrollable pleasure rushed through you, your pussy squeezing with urgency and then, your vision blurred, leaving you dizzy and breathless.
chest heaving heavily, “ah, ah, ah” and the intensity built up until you came undone blissfully, collapsing into a trembling mess.
a couple of seconds later, jungkook’s hips stuttered, signaling his own orgasm. his big hands left bruises on your hips, a rough growl leaving his lips, “fuck, fuck, fuck”. he fucked the last thrusts into you with force, his breath heavy. with a guttural groan, he spilled his hot, thick cum deep inside of you. he stayed buried inside longer, making sure every drop of cum entered your pussy.
your heartbeat was faster than ever, you felt (good) pain all over your body. before you could climb jungkook like a koala bear and demand him to carry you to your bedroom, he turned your still aching body around, your body facing the wall.
then, he slammed his heavy hand down on your ass.
“ouch!!”
“stop whining, you asked for this.”, he hissed, delivering another spank to your ass. “i told you to fucking behave.”
your whimpers were almost pathetic. you could never admit to him that you enjoyed the pain, but something told you he already knew. your pussy was still soaked, his fingers lightly brushing against it from the back while his palm met your generous backside.
“you’re so fucked out, you can’t even speak”, he whispered, now kneading your ass. “that’s how i fucking like you.. if i could fuck another baby in you right now, i would.”
you tried to suppress your moans, but failed.
His fingers grazed your slick folds, sending another shiver to your core, your body still trembling from the aftershocks of your release.
He removed his hands completely and you turned around, too scared and turned on to look him directly in the face.
He caught your gaze and softened instantly, the fire in his eyes melting into something quieter, more tender.
“Come here,” Jungkook murmured, pulling you into his chest with surprising gentleness for a man who’d just wrecked you.
You melted against him, your breathing still uneven as his arms wrapped securely around your swollen belly and your trembling body.
the earlier degradation was replaced by his usual warmth.
You stayed like that for a long moment, your fingers tracing lazy circles over his back, both of you finally still.
Slowly, he carried you to the bed, careful and deliberate as if you were the most fragile thing in existence.
after cleaning up, the both of you settled under the soft blankets, you nuzzled into the crook of his neck, your eyelids growing heavy.
“Goodnight, beautiful,” he whispered, lips brushing against your forehead.
“Goodnight, Kookie,” you breathed, already slipping toward sleep.
_
the next morning, jungkook woke up way too late. you were already awake; he couldn’t feel you when he sleepily slid his hand across your shared bed.
scenes of the night before played in his mind, causing a smile to spread on his handsome face.
looking at the clock, he couldn’t believe you wore him out so well that he woke up about three hours later than he usually did. he didn’t even care that he missed work; he was the ceo after all.
damn, that pussy truly got power.
after freshening up in the adjacent bathroom, he started hearing voices from downstairs; certainly more than just yours.
making his way downstairs, he found you in the dining room, surrounded by both of your mothers, animatedly talking about some new recipe you wanted to try.
his heart warmed at the sight. they must have dropped by unannounced or you might have forgotten to tell him they were visiting.
he immediately walked up to the three of you, greeting his mother and mother-in-law.
“good morning, ladies!”, he greeted, giving each one a kiss on the cheek.
and there you were, now quiet and admiring the interaction, looking beautiful in your yoga pants and that fitted shirt that did nothing to conceal your baby bump.
“and good morning to my beautiful wife”, he was practically beaming at you, approaching you with open arms. “and my future princess.”
he first kissed your lips and then, he squatted and lovingly put his hands on your bump.
“good morning, my handsome husband.”, you smiled up at him, your cheeks heating up from the flashbacks of last night. “you’re finally awake!”
both of your mothers knew what type of couple you were, even before pregnancy. they admired you two deeply.
“aren’t you supposed to be at work, jungkook?”, his mother’s playful voice broke the moment.
“I slept in”, his head was now resting on your shoulders from behind, his hands holding onto your waist. “this one kept me up all night.”
his suggestive tone made your moms laugh; they understood exactly what he meant. for you, It was embarrassing because, surprisingly, you're not as shameless as he was.
it wasn’t that big of a deal though, they could tell a couple of hours ago when you couldn’t stand properly from all the pain your body was still in.
jungkook immediately started eating breakfast like the food was going to run away, as per usual.
after a heated 15 minute discussion over the baby’s name, you decided to change the topic without hurting your moms’ feelings and just directly tell them you didn’t like any of the names they suggested.
“you two go sit on the couch, i’ll be right back with the tea and cakes”, you told them, not wanting them to lift a finger, despite their constant need to stand on their feet.
“i’ll help you”, jungkook insisted and followed you to the spacious kitchen. “when the hell did you have time to make cake?”
he asked you in such a confused tone, it almost made you laugh. did he forget you were at home basically the entire day?
“tsk.. acting like i don’t have all the time in the world”, you replied, cutting into the chocolate cake you knew jungkook’s mom would love. “taste this.”
without hesitation, he took a big bite.
“hmmm”, he took another bite and then another. “so good.”
you snatched the fork away from him with feigned offense. “leave some for the others.. greedy.”
he bursted into laughter at your offended face and pinched your cheeks. “i’m sorry.”
you looked at him and just breathed in the happiness; he was your husband, yours.
as long as he was yours, you didn’t care about anything else because there was nothing you wanted except for him to be with you.
you were so grateful for his existence, for his love, that life brought you together.. and it was always the most simple moments that made you appreciate him even more.
you put your head on his shoulders.
“Marry me.”, you whispered.
He blinked. “We’re already married.”
“Well, I wanna marry you again, Jungkook.”, desperation was evident in your voice. “Please.”
and then, he got on his knees, taking your hand in his, a goofy smile on his face. “yn jeon, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife again?”
you teared up, getting on your knees with much effort and engulfed him in a hug, gripping his arms like you’re never letting go of him.
“yes, yes, yes. a million times, yes.”

anyone but you pt. 2 | jjk
Tumblr media
one shared bed, a tempting agreement and a wedding halfway across the world - what could possibly go wrong?
fake bf! jungkook x fake gf! reader
warning: no smut yet (it sucks i knooow), jungkook and reader taking their sweet time, but they are slowly getting closer, implication that reader is not korean (apologies if you are 😭), idk what else.
part one
- - -
You woke up with the disgusting taste of sleep in your mouth and blurry eyes, momentarily forgetting where you were, but you quickly regained your senses.
It almost felt like the jet lag was worse now than the day before. It was almost ironic.
You tossed and turned for a moment before fully opening your eyes and gathering all the strength in your body to get out of bed.
“Finally,” you heard an already fully dressed Jungkook tease. “Thought you’d never wake up.”
You just scoffed.
After freshening up, brushing your hair and your teeth, you made your way to the closet you had filled with your clothes yesterday, intending to pick out an outfit, before Jungkook interrupted you.
“Here, wear this.” He handed you one of his oversized shirts that would be even more oversized on you.
You sent him an amused, questioning look before saying, “Thank you, but I have my own clothes.”
He simply chuckled and shook his head. “I thought we wanted to do this for real… you wearing my shirt is peak couple shit.”
You reluctantly took the shirt and put it on, not before letting out a groan. “Alright.”
Jungkook shamelessly checked you out. “Cute,” he said, then went on to grab your hand.
You had to admit you did look very cute in his shirt, but you didn’t give him the satisfaction of knowing that.
Not knowing whether to be pleased or weirded out by how motivated Jungkook was about this plan, you simply played along, leaning into him a little.
Together, you headed out into the dining space, where almost everybody was already gathered.
Chaerin was chatting with Sophia’s mom about Korea and what places she should visit when she decided to go there. “Jungkook could probably tell you a lot more about Busan; his family’s from there.”
Tariq was busy making his signature fluffy pancakes; you didn’t need to see him to recognize that—the smell alone transported you back to simpler times.
Once they all noticed your presence, they greeted you two with a “good morning” that you quickly reciprocated with your hands still interlocked.
They all saw it—the interlocked hands and the oversized shirt on your body that was obviously his.
Lily was the first one to react, giving you a “good morning…?” accompanied by her index finger pointing between your hands in a questioning manner.
Tariq turned around, his kind face dropping slightly, while Chaerin wore an unreadable expression. Sophia’s mom, who didn’t really know either of you, smiled.
Jungkook simply smirked, shrugging his shoulder before pulling out a chair for you to sit on.
“What was that about Busan?” he diverted the almost awkwardness in the room by asking.
“Nothing… I was just telling Ruth about Korea,” Chaerin explained, a hint of a blush evident on her face. “She wants to visit and thought you could tell her a little about Busan.”
Ruth, Sophia’s mom, nodded enthusiastically. “I love traveling and exploring different cultures.”
Jungkook politely smiled, settling into the chair beside you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder with practiced ease.
“Busan’s beautiful; you’ll love it. The food’s good, and the beaches are nice. I’d recommend you go to a place with fewer tourists, though; it’s less crowded.”
“And have you been to Korea before, yn?” Ruth asked. “I’d like to hear from a foreigner how they treat us over there before visiting.”
She was joking. You giggled a little before shaking your head. “I’m afraid I can’t tell you; I’ve never been.”
She hummed, looking between you and Jungkook. “But it is important for a couple to get to know each other’s cultural heritage, especially in the early stages of a relationship to… well, determine whether they are compatible or not.”
Was it really? Even if this relationship were not a ruse, you were not very convinced that it was a determining factor for a functioning relationship, but you held your tongue, not wanting to be rude.
Chaerin looked at Ruth as if she were taking in her words and then glanced back between the two of you.
It was evidently weird for her to see her ex with another girl.
Lily and Tariq were over at the stove, fighting about how much more sugar needed to be added to the pancake batter, but you still felt Tariq’s ears listening in to your conversation.
Jungkook squeezed your shoulder lovingly, leaning closer against you. “We’ve talked about going together before; she’s gotta meet my grandparents eventually.”
You fought the urge to look at him with a ‘what the fuck’ expression, so you just nodded.
“It’s so beautiful seeing young couples so committed to each other,” Ruth admired with a big smile.
Lily chimed in, a skeptical look adorning her face, “Are you two really a couple now? Last time I checked, yn, you said, and I quote, ‘even though the sex was good, you will never catch me going back for seconds,’ and here you are, going back for thirds and fourths.”
You knew if you answered right away, you’d trip over your words, so you took a sip of water. “Well, I guess things change.”
“Don’t underestimate my ability to persuade, Lily,” was Jungkook’s response.
Chaerin tried to occupy herself with anything but the conversation at hand, but you could tell there was curiosity.
Finally, Tariq interrupted the entire conversation, putting a big plate of delicious, fluffy pancakes on the table.
Damn his good cooking skills and his amazing pancakes.
---
The entire group was outside in the garden, either by the pool or playing ball.
All morning, you heard whispers about your and Jungkook’s newfound relationship, which would have irritated you if it weren’t the entire purpose of your arrangement.
So, you accepted it.
You were just standing there, enjoying the sunshine a little, weirded out by and simultaneously enjoying Jungkook’s absence, which was a rare occurrence this past day and a half.
Finding yourself smiling down at the amount of roses and flowers, you picked some and put them in your hair, not knowing you were being watched.
“Hey,” Tariq’s familiar voice engulfed you, prompting you to turn around.
Your eyes met, and there was a moment of calm—not awkwardness, just calmness. One of the things you adored about Tariq was his ability to be so calm and peaceful.
“Hey,” it was barely a whisper.
“So…” he began, moving a little closer to you while still keeping a respectful distance. “We didn’t get the chance to talk much yet.”
That was true; between getting to know the new faces, your faux relationship with Jungkook, and your subconscious avoidance of Tariq, it really felt like there was no time for just the two of you.
“That’s true,” was your response.
You were standing there, caught between not knowing what to say and not wanting Tariq to feel like you didn’t want to talk to him.
“You’re dating Jungkook, huh?” Tariq finally blurted out the reason he came over.
You nodded, accompanied by a slow “yeah.”
“I’m happy for you,” he stated. “I’m happy as long as you are, and if that happiness doesn’t lie with me, I’m fine with that. I’m not going to lie and say I don’t wish it were different, but I would never want you to feel uncomfortable or disturbed in my presence. I want us to be… normal with each other.”
He was so cute. If it were any other man, he would have gotten angry with you or accused you of things.
He continued, “And about Lily’s parents… I’m so sorry, yn. I already told them to back off you about us; I know it must be very annoying.”
Somehow, that made you feel worse. Why was he so understanding?
“Thank you, Tariq,” you said genuinely. “I hope you know this doesn’t mean you weren’t special to me; you’re still so important to me, believe me.”
Just as he was about to answer, Jungkook appeared out of nowhere with a “Hey, baby!”
He wrapped a muscular arm around you and kissed your hair. “What are you two talking about?”
He made his (feigned) jealousy very clear.
You looked up briefly, your eyes meeting his. “Nothing important.”
Tariq looked uncomfortably between the two of you before ultimately deciding to leave you alone after excusing himself.
Once he was out of sight, you moved away from Jungkook's arm. “What was that?”
“What?” he asked dumbly. “I'm your boyfriend; I'm allowed to do that. If I weren’t a little jealous, that’d blow our cover.”
You sighed, shaking your head a little.
“We're only playing this game because of Chaerin now,” you shared, which Jungkook questioned with a raised eyebrow.
“Why is that?”
“Tariq told me he’s happy for us,” you explained, your tone devoid of any apparent emotion. “He even told Lily’s parents to back off.”
Which was something you were very thankful for.
Jungkook examined your face, slightly tilting his head.
“Are you… sad about that?” he asked cautiously.
Were you sad? No… you would describe it as apathy or even… relief.
“No,” was your answer, spoken in a steady voice.
Jungkook nodded. “We can drop it if you want.”
That made you shake your head. “And give Chaerin the satisfaction of knowing another girl dumped you? Never.”
He laughed, throwing his head back slightly.
Then he looked at your flower-adorned hair, brushed it back, and said, “You look pretty.”
You playfully pushed his arm away. “Do you say that to all your fake girlfriends?”
“Only to the pretty ones.”
An involuntary warmth spread in your heart.
---
After Chaerin insisted on taking you and the rest of the girls to her favorite mall in Sydney, you found yourself dressing up to go out. You opted for a full denim outfit.
You had to admit it was a good idea and that you were actually looking forward to spending time with them.
Of course, Jungkook then convinced the four of you to let him come along, ruining the entire purpose of a girls’ day. He whispered something about how it was “necessary” to keep up appearances as a couple to make it more convincing.
He hugged you from behind, playing with your hair and laying his head on your shoulder, declaring, “Sorry, girls, can’t let this one go out without me. I have, uh, what is it called?… separation anxiety.”
You held back an eye roll before sending the three girls an apologetic glance. “I promise he isn’t always this clingy; it’s just one of those days. He’ll behave, right?”
Jungkook nodded and kissed your cheek hastily. “Promise.”
You blushed.
The girls exchanged glances—some amused, some unreadable, and some questioning.
Focusing on Chaerin, you noticed how much you couldn’t read her. As someone who usually prided themselves on knowing people, it irked you more than anything. Perhaps you didn’t know people as well as you thought.
“It’s alright,” Sophia was the one who responded. “My dad’s car has plenty of space.”
You thanked her before making your way to the car together.
Jungkook offered to drive, but Sophia declined, stating with a wink that she would drive and he could sit next to you in the backseat.
The drive was… normal. You were in the middle seat, sitting between Jungkook’s long legs and broad shoulders and Chaerin, who basically didn’t take up any space, but the tension was definitely there.
Jungkook’s big hands on your thick thighs could not be missed. He occasionally leaned closer, whispering nonsense into your ear to intensify your chemistry and grab Chaerin’s attention.
“Chicken nuggets,” he whispered lowly, which made you burst into genuine laughter, catching the attention of all three girls.
“Oh, here they go again,” Lily teased, looking back at you.
Chaerin watched you too from the side, curious to know what you were talking about.
You lightly pushed his shoulder and whispered, “This is so stupid; please just stop.”
His response was a dimpled smile and a hushed, “Never.”
When you finally arrived at the mall, you looked around.
Sydney was truly beautiful; you hadn’t gotten the chance to take it all in when you first arrived, what with all the jet lag and everything.
“Let’s go in!” Chaerin’s excitement was apparent.
You and Jungkook walked behind the girls; you automatically took his hand in yours.
After a while of looking around, your eyes caught a store window filled with gorgeous evening gowns, and you stopped in your tracks for a second.
You already had a dress for the wedding, obviously, but you were meaning to get a brand new dress for the rehearsal dinner.
“Found something you like?” Jungkook asked, noticing your enchantment with the store.
You nodded, pointed to the store, and tugged on his arm, which led him to announce, “Ladies, let’s go into that store. yn wants to try on dresses.”
Before you could object (out of politeness, of course; you were dying to go inside), all of you entered the luxury boutique together.
“I actually already have enough dresses, but I feel kind of underwhelmed with the dress I got for the rehearsal dinner,” you explained to the girls while looking around.
You obviously didn’t want them to believe you weren’t prepared properly for their wedding; God knows you were.
They hummed in understanding.
“I bought my dress for the wedding from here, you know,” Chaerin informed you. “The store’s really known among Sydney girls; you should be able to find something really beautiful here.”
You smiled at her, grateful she was so nice to you despite… everything.
Jungkook, on the other hand, was surprisingly very determined and focused on finding you a fitting dress, handing you multiple ones to try on. “This one’ll look good on you.”
Apparently, he thought almost every dress would look good on you.
Taking every suitable dress with you, you spent at least 20 minutes in that fitting room, but you didn’t get out until you were satisfied. It was a gorgeous backless red dress with plunging cleavage that made you smile back at your reflection.
It was perfect.
You almost stopped feeling bad for making the others wait such a long time for you. You stepped out of the fitting room, and immediately, all eyes were on you. “What do you guys think?”
Lily whistled once she saw you, Chaerin’s eyes widened, and Sophia let out a “damn” that made you giggle.
Jungkook was stunned for a moment before stepping forward and taking hold of your face, raising it. Your eyes met his smitten ones, and you almost felt like this wasn’t part of the act. But it was, of course.
“You look so beautiful,” he whispered loud enough for everyone to hear, then leaned down to briefly capture your lips with his. “We’re getting this one.”
You were almost appalled at how well he played the role.
The girls watched you two attentively, and you felt your face heating up under their stares.
Jungkook took the dress from your hand and walked straight to the checkout. Out of reflex, you all followed him. He handed the cashier his card before you could stop him.
“Jungkook-,” you said, stretching your arm to take the card from his hand; he gently pushed it away.
“What is it?” he asked, looking at you as if it was completely normal for him to spend around $2,000 on your dress. “I'm your boyfriend; I won't let you pay for it yourself.”
You sighed; your guilt wouldn't just go away. The fact that he wasn't really your boyfriend and that he was living in character like this was weighing you down a little.
“Thank you.” It was a very simple word, but Jungkook could tell how grateful you truly were.
The girls were just giggling. “That’s the way it’s supposed to be,” one of them said.
Chaerin was quiet until she finally said, “That’s sweet.”
You agreed with her; he truly was sweet.
---
You all came back exhausted from the shopping trip, having bought way too much.
Even Jungkook got himself new shoes, even though he had initially said he wouldn’t buy anything for himself.
Jungkook was sprawled out on the bed, looking at the ceiling while you were reading a book next to him, very much invested in the characters of Little Women despite having read it multiple times.
Thoughts of the night you had spent together crept into Jungkook’s mind.
“yn.”
“Yeah?”
“We get along, right?” Jungkook began, which led you to focus on him rather than the book for a second. “We’re good at this whole fake dating thing, and we have friendship potential.”
You weren’t quite sure where this was going. You tilted your head in confusion.
“I guess so,” you replied.
Jungkook then let out a deep breath. “Why did you leave before I woke up?”
Your heartbeat slightly quickened, surprised by his directness.
“I don’t know…” Your voice was low. “I guess I was panicking a little… I surprised myself by even going that far.”
Jungkook turned his head to face you, his expression unreadable as he propped himself up on one elbow. His eyes flicked over your face like he was trying to solve a puzzle, trying to find something you weren’t saying.
“I just…” he paused, licking his lips. “I feel like we had a good time. A really good time.”
You shut your book, your finger still wedged between the pages as a makeshift bookmark, and met his gaze. His face was more serious than you were used to; no teasing smirk, no usual charming twinkle in his eyes; just genuine curiosity. Maybe something else, too, but you weren’t ready to name it.
“I thought…” he continued, voice quieter now, “I don’t know. I thought we got along well, we had a good time. I just don’t get why you left like that—no note, no text. Nothing.”
You blinked at him, the weight of his words hanging in the space between you.
And then you let out a small, breathy laugh—humorless, yet still so soft. “Oh, come on.”
He frowned, just a little. “What?”
“You didn’t even call me, Jungkook,” you said, your voice sharper than before. “You didn’t text. Didn’t ask if I got home okay. You ghosted me too.”
“That’s not true—”
“It is true,” you cut in, sitting up straighter. “You didn’t give a shit. And that was fine. Really. It was what it was. But don’t act like you were all confused and heartbroken about it when you put in zero effort afterward.”
Silence.
The kind of silence that buzzes in your ears.
Jungkook stared at you like you’d slapped him, like the realization had just hit him in slow motion.
“I didn’t think you wanted me to reach out,” he finally said, and his voice, God, his voice sounded like he was actually pained. “I thought you were trying to forget it even happened.”
You looked down, running your finger along the edge of the book cover. “Maybe I was.”
He didn’t respond.
And you didn’t look up.
You just cleared your throat, eyes flicking back to the book, pretending like there weren’t things left unsaid between you.
“I’m at the part where Beth dies,” you muttered, half to yourself, reopening the book.
Jungkook fell back on the bed again with a groan. “Why do you read that book if it makes you so sad?”
You shrugged. “Because I like it.”
Neither of you said anything after that.
For a while, the room was filled only with the sound of a turning page.
---
After dinner, you all decided to leave the house again, but this time to hit a local club Sophia kept raving about.
It was alright. nothing special.
Yet, you swayed your wide hips enticingly against Jungkook’s broad body to music you didn’t particularly enjoy.
Jungkook’s hands were tightly wrapped around your waist, his crotch hitting the fullness of your ass. You deliberately felt his lengthy erection hardening with every move of your body.
Clubs in Chicago were nicer and better than this, but you were going to take what you could get.
“Hmm, you smell good,” he complimented in what sounded like a groan, his lips so close to your ear, his grip tightening. “Are you still mad at me?”
You tilted your head up to look him in the eyes and said, “I was never mad at you.”
He was satisfied with that answer, as he didn’t add anything else.
You took a moment to observe what the others were doing, mostly Chaerin, of course.
Lily and Sophia were very much occupied with one another, with the occasional glance at you and Jungkook.
Once you caught her, you recognized she was dancing and grinding her small body against a guy she just met.
Good for her, you thought.
You turned around to face Jungkook completely and wrapped your arms around his neck. Clearly evident was that he was looking in Chaerin’s direction with furrowed eyebrows and flared nostrils. He was so jealous.
So that was what he looked like when he was jealous… he looked hot. You made a note of that.
Grabbing his pretty face with both your hands, you brought his attention back to yourself.
“Stop looking at her,” you ordered, caressing his cheek. “Don’t forget, you’re supposed to be my boyfriend.”
The whole day, you noticed suspicion from Lily’s side, whom you thought was too busy thinking about and preparing for her wedding; but apparently, the most interesting thing to her right now was your relationship.
It was your own fault for underestimating how nosy your childhood friend truly was.
Jungkook’s eyes flicked down to your lips for a second too long before he nodded, a slight smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as if he was trying not to let it take over his whole face. “Yes, ma’am.”
You scoffed but didn’t fight it when his hands slid lower on your waist again, pulling you closer.
The club was too warm, the air too thick with perfume, sweat, and cheap liquor.
You slipped out of Jungkook’s arms and whispered something about getting water, to which he nodded without letting go right away.
“I’ll be back,” you added with a light tug to his shirt before disappearing into the crowd.
You made your way toward the bar, brushing past a few bodies; some too drunk to even notice you, others eyeing you a little too eagerly.
That’s when you spotted Chaerin again. She was leaning against the counter, waiting for a drink, the blue neon lighting painting soft shadows over her face.
Her eyes met yours as you approached, and she offered a smile.
“Hey,” she said, slightly breathless, her hair messy in the pretty, deliberate way that only looked good on girls like her.
You nodded, grabbing a glass of water from the bar. “Hey. Having fun?”
“Sure,” she let out a sigh. “Kinda feel like going home now, though. You?”
You decided to be a little insensitive yet tactful in your response.
“Me?” You brushed your hair back, subtly popping your hip to the side. “Oh, I’m not ready to go home yet. I’m having too much fun.”
You truly weren’t. It wasn’t boring, but you internally agreed with her; you would also rather go home than stay, but you had a role to play, and you were committed. A true Daniel Day-Lewis.
“That’s good to hear,” Chaerin remarked, a reminiscing smile forming on her lips. “Jungkook used to complain so much about Australian club culture, saying Chicago’s was so much better, so I figured you’d feel the same way.”
You simply chuckled and shrugged your shoulders. He was so right, my God.
She continued, “I hope you know nothing has to be weird between us.”
You knew exactly what she meant, but you played dumb. You realized she, officially, didn’t know you knew about her being Jungkook’s ex.
“What do you mean?” you pretended to be clueless.
Her eyes widened for a second. “Oh, sorry… I assumed you knew. Jungkook and I used to be a couple.”
Your lips parted, feigning surprise. “Oh.”
She genuinely looked guilty for a moment, which made you feel guilty for lying, but she quickly regained normalcy and stated, “Yeah. We left things off a bit… uhm… abrupt.”
The tone in her voice confirmed that she was still thinking about him. Well, you didn’t know whether it was female intuition or her tone, but you knew at least a small part of her still wanted him.
“It’s okay,” you responded with a tight-lipped smile. “Nothing’s weird unless we make it weird, right?”
She smiled back and made her way back to the dance floor.
You did too.
When you spotted Jungkook, he was already looking at you.
You approached him and rested your arms back where they often were - his neck.
The song playing was actually nice for a change.
You rocked back and forth against each other. Something about it was calming.
“I just spoke to Chaerin at the bar,” you revealed to him.
“Yeah?”
“Hmm,” you hummed. “She’s sweet. I get why you like her.”
Jungkook curved his lips and grinned down at you. “Glad to get your approval on something.”
You said, “There’s a first for everything,” and continued swaying your beautiful body.
Contemplating whether to tell him about Chaerin’s obvious feelings for him or not, you decided against it.
There was something holding you back from doing so.

part two
_
The moment you met Jungkook, you did not like him. Lily was your trusted friend, but to this day, you held a grudge against her for introducing you to Jungkook.
Cocky. Annoying. Infuriating. Those were the words you would use to describe him.
He had just gotten back from a semester abroad in Australia when you first met him at a function organized by Lily. You immediately thought he was handsome, of course.
He had that glowy tan that couldn’t possibly have come from Chicago.
Your fiancé, Tariq, wasn’t free to attend the event with you, so Jungkook assumed you were single and hit you with the single most embarrassing pickup line you had ever heard.
“Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?”
You practically shoved your ring finger in his face and told him something like, “And even if I weren’t engaged, do not think for a second that this line would’ve worked on me.”
You had to admit, this mutual dislike—or ‘beef,’ as Lily would call it—was more one-sided than anything; Jungkook didn’t dislike you; he simply enjoyed teasing you.
The more you hung around each other, the more you never knew if he was simply trying to get a reaction out of you or if he was genuinely flirting.
It was always a push and pull with him.
You didn’t give it too much thought, though; you were with Tariq during those times, and you couldn’t have cared less about Jungkook’s opinion of you.
But ever since you called off your engagement, you had been… different. Your whole life had been structured, planned out, leading toward a future that, for the longest time, you thought you wanted: a house, a stable marriage, the predictability of it all. But you realized there were other ways to lead much more fulfilling lives. So you broke it off.
And now you tried being freer, more open to new things, and more inclined to say yes to things you wouldn’t have before.
That’s why, when you locked eyes with Jungkook that night at the club, you didn’t feel like looking away.
So, you hooked up. One minute you were still in the club, playing your usual game of push and pull, and the next, he was playfully tugging at the hem of your dress while trying not to get into a car accident.
Then, you found yourself pressed against the wall of his bathroom, his hands gripping your soft waist with a sense of urgency while he kissed you hard.
“This is a bad idea,” you whispered against his mouth.
“Probably,” he murmured before kissing you again.
He was good, and you hated it, but you hated even more that you shared moments of intimacy beyond sex that night; after the sex, he made you a late-night snack, and there was something about him that made you feel like you could tell him anything and everything.
So, you did. And you felt a connection, you weren’t going to lie, but it scared you.
The next morning, you remembered waking up before him and just fleeing.
No goodbye. No explanation.
But since he had not texted or called you afterward, you assumed he did not care.
It was just a one time thing.
---
Your good friend, Lily, and her long-term fiancée, Sophia, were finally getting married.
Not in good old Chicago or some other easily accessible city, but in Australia.
Australia was never on your travel list. Not because you weren’t convinced it was a beautiful place, but because its beauty couldn’t distract you from the heat, the bugs, and the disgusting, undiscovered creatures they have down there. Not to mention how far away it was.
You understood the sentiment behind their choice; Sophia grew up in Sydney, and her parents owned a beach house there.
But it wasn’t just that.
You could already guess who was invited, given your close friendship with Lily, and while you were okay with most of them, there were a few candidates you would rather not see.
Like Jungkook, for example.
And though you hoped they would leave the topic alone for those two weeks, Lily’s parents, who had known you for a very long time, were entirely too invested in your decision to break it off with Tariq, and that worried you.
But you were just going to accept it and see what awaited you.
---
Tariq was your first everything. Somehow, every memory you had of your childhood included him. It was as if you could not escape him, yet you also did not want to.
He was always going to be a part of who you fundamentally were. He was the man who made you believe that you deserved to be loved fiercely. He was the man who introduced you to new things and pushed you to be your best.
He was the only thing you ever knew.
From when you were both just six years old, your parents would tell you that you were going to get married. Tariq was your neighbor, one of the only ones your age, so naturally, you gravitated toward him; playing outside and sharing secrets in his little treehouse.
You did love him, and your dream since childhood was to marry him, but you never accounted for dreams changing. Nobody ever told you that dreams could suddenly shift. That feeling of change scared and stressed you deeply.
You did not know what to do; the things that you used to love doing with him became exhausting, and the things that used to excite you didn’t anymore. Your entire outlook on life and your relationship completely changed. Your relationship was healthy; he treated you well, and during the time leading up to your decision to end the engagement, you tried to tell yourself you needed nothing more than that—that you were ungrateful for wanting something different.
You were supposed to be married within a couple of months after finishing college, but one day, you interrupted Tariq’s rant about your wedding venue with a sudden, “I don’t want to marry you.”
From then on, it was pure awkwardness and constant justifications; after the breakup, you avoided him and his family as much as you could, but somehow, that wasn’t the hardest part.
It was your own parents who really did it for you, constantly bringing Tariq up and faulting you for not staying with him, barely trying to understand your feelings and reasoning.
It affected you more than they knew.
So perhaps a trip to Australia, far away from home, would do you good.
---
The house was gorgeous.
A sprawling estate with a massive backyard, a view overlooking the ocean, and more rooms than you could count. You had to admit, Sophia’s parents had taste.
“Yn!! Heyyy,” Lily came running up to you, immediately pulling you into her arms as soon as she saw you. “How are you? How was the flight? You must be starving.”
You put your luggage down. “I’m good, the flight was okay, but I really need a shower.”
Lily immediately nodded in understanding but pointed to the other room.
“Just come greet the others, and then I’ll take you to your room,” she said, taking your hand and practically dragging you to the rest of the guests who had already arrived.
You recognized most of the people in the room.
Lily’s parents, her sister, Sophia, and another older couple whom you assumed were Sophia’s parents. You greeted them all charmingly, even though you were dying for that shower.
Lily had mentioned that the house was reserved for the most important guests and the rest of the guests were staying at nearby hotels.
But there was a girl standing there whom you did not recognize. She was beautiful.
“Hey,” you offered her your hand and smiled, which she immediately shook. “I’m Yn.”
The girl smiled sweetly and said, “I’m Chaerin.”
---
When Lily finally showed you to your room, you took it all in first; it was gorgeous, huge, and it had an in-room bathroom. You truly did not need anything more than that.
You immediately hopped into the shower and scrubbed off the 20-hour flight.
Clad only in your underwear, you exited the adjoining bathroom and saw a relaxed Jungkook lying on the huge bed, flipping through channels.
What the heck was he doing there, in your assigned room?!
You knew he was going to be attending the wedding and staying at the house, but not like this.
“What are you doing here?” you asked in a shocked tone, immediately covering yourself with your hands.
Jungkook simply smirked at you, his eyes not leaving your curves. “I guess we’re sharing a room… and you can drop the hands; it’s nothing I haven’t seen before.”
You were just about to respond to his smug comment when you realized what he said before.
“What??” you exclaimed. “What do you mean we’re sharing a room? There’s literally only one bed in here.”
You put on an oversized white shirt and put your hair in a quick ponytail before putting your hands on your hips and looking at Jungkook accusingly.
“Relax,” was his reaction. “It’s really not that big a deal. I don’t have a problem with it; we slept in a bed together before.”
Irritation started rising in your body; you hated his nonchalant attitude. In fact, you hated him. It was annoying how he suddenly showed up out of the blue, how he was able to handle every embarrassing situation by not being embarrassed.
The fact that he didn’t contact you after your night together crept its way back into your mind, leaving a bitter taste.
Yes, you had left before he even woke up, but that was just a fuckboy move, and everybody knew that it was the guy who had to text the girl first.
You didn’t make the rules.
He was just not your type of person. You often felt like you were polar opposites, and that was the reason you disliked him. You envied that carelessness.
You hated that his presence took you back to the night you spent together when his skilled hands were all over your body, refusing to let go.
“It’s amazing and great that you don’t have a problem, but I definitely do,” you countered, huffing slightly. “I’m going to talk to Lily about this.”
As soon as you said those words, you exited the room, Jungkook surprisingly following behind you.
You found Lily in the kitchen, making coffee while happily humming.
“Lily… we need to talk to you,” you approached her. “I think there’s some sort of mistake because he thinks we have to share a room, but I’m sure you just gave him these keys accidentally.”
Lily’s stance suddenly became awkward, and her face told you everything you needed to know.
“I’m sorry, Yn,” she started after taking a sip of her coffee. “There’s not enough room for everybody, and I thought since you two hooked up before, you wouldn’t have a problem sharing a room.”
Her logic irritated you greatly, but what truly aggravated you was the fact that she didn’t care to ask you beforehand.
You scoffed, crossing your arms. “That’s not how it works, Lily. Just because we hooked up once doesn’t mean we’re suddenly comfortable sharing a bed for two whole weeks.”
Lily gave you an apologetic look, but you could tell she wasn’t going to budge. “I know, I know,” she said, setting her mug down on the counter. “But we had to make some compromises. My parents insisted on inviting a few last-minute guests, and there’s just… no other option.”
You opened your mouth to argue, but Jungkook beat you to it. “Wait, last-minute guests?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Lily hesitated. “Yeah, um…” She glanced between you two, as if she was debating whether to say it.
You narrowed your eyes. “Lily.”
She sighed. “Tariq’s coming.”
Your stomach dropped.
You weren’t sure if it was because of the jet lag or the sheer absurdity of the situation, but for a second, you thought you misheard her. “I’m sorry—what?”
Lily winced. “My parents invited him.”
You blinked, your mind going blank. “Your parents… invited Tariq?”
“As a last-minute guest,” she clarified weakly.
Your ex-fiancé. The man you had nearly married. The man you hadn’t spoken to in months. The man you were definitely not prepared to see here, on the other side of the world, while you were rooming with Jungkook of all people.
“What the actual fuck, Lily?”
“I know, I know,” she groaned, rubbing her temples. “Trust me, I tried to talk them out of it. But you know how they are! They’ve known Tariq forever; they still think of him as part of the family. They just… thought it’d be nice to have him here.”
“Nice?” You let out a humorless laugh. “Nice for who? Certainly not for me.”
Jungkook, who had been silent up until now, let out a low chuckle. “Damn,” he muttered. “This just keeps getting better and better.”
You shot him a glare. “Oh, shut up.”
He smirked but didn’t push it. Instead, he leaned against the counter, arms crossed over his chest. “So, when’s he getting here?”
Lily hesitated.
“Lily.”
“…Tonight.”
You groaned, dragging a hand down your face. Of course. As if the universe wasn’t already hell-bent on ruining your peace, you had less than four hours to mentally prepare for seeing Tariq again.
“Look,” Lily said gently, “if it makes you feel better, I doubt he’ll be weird. I mean, from what I heard, he’s been doing fine.”
Your stomach twisted at that, but you forced yourself to act indifferent. You left him, so you should be glad that he was feeling fine. “Good for him.”
Lily eyed you, unconvinced, but mercifully didn’t press the issue.
Jungkook, however, was watching you with an unreadable expression. You could feel the weight of his gaze, the way he was assessing you. Like he was trying to figure out just how much this actually bothered you.
And the worst part? He probably could.
“Well,” he finally said, clapping his hands together. “Sounds like we’re in for a fun time.”
You shot him another glare, but your stomach was still a mess of nerves, your mind racing with everything that could go wrong.
Tariq was coming.
And you had no idea how you were supposed to handle it.
---
Despite your irritation, the house and the wedding atmosphere were undeniably beautiful. The warm sun, the sound of waves in the distance, and the way everyone lounged around in swimsuits made it feel like a dream vacation.
Two weeks without work and the busy streets of Chicago were simply what dreams were made of.
Which is why you were now in a tiny bikini that barely concealed anything, sprawled out on a sunbed, trying to relax and ignore the fact that Jungkook was shirtless only a few feet away.
You weren’t going to let him take up space in your mind. You had enough to deal with—your ex-fiancé would be arriving very soon, and you weren’t ready for that confrontation.
But then, Jungkook had to ruin your peace.
“So,” he began, speaking in a way that let you know he was about to say something irritating, “you talk about me?”
You cracked an eye open, frowning at him. “What are you talking about?”
“Lily,” he said, lazily dragging his gaze over your curvy body. “You told her we hooked up.”
You scoffed, your face heating up involuntarily. “I do not talk about you. For your information, it is very normal to tell your girlfriends about these types of things. You wouldn’t get it, XY chromosome.”
His smirk deepened as he let out a loud laugh. “Still. Just admit you talk about me a lot.”
You huffed sassily. “You’re insufferable.”
“And you’re fun to tease,” he replied easily, tilting his head back to enjoy the sun.
You tried to ignore him.
Tried to focus on the warmth against your skin and not on the fact that he looked fine as hell shirtless.
---
To Jungkook, Chaerin was the sun.
She introduced him to feelings he never knew, made him look at the world through rose-colored glasses. She was his motivation and his dream girl.
Chaerin was always the life of the party; she knew exactly what to do to cheer him up and make him forget all his troubles. She was so sweet, so pretty, so perfect—something he always wanted to protect, someone he could never get tired of, even if he tried, which he never would.
If comparing her to another girl came in question, Jungkook would laugh. There was truly no girl that could compare to his Chaerin.
They met through Lily when he was studying abroad in Australia. Chaerin was Lily’s roommate at the time, but she moved back to Chicago with her now fiancée, Sophia, which led to Jungkook taking her place as Chaerin’s roommate.
After that, they became closer and closer.
Chaerin immediately knew about Jungkook’s infatuation with her. She loved that he had a soft spot for her. She loved that his eyes lit up when he would see her. She loved the way he treated her as if she were the only person in the entire world. She loved the fact that he loved her.
Jungkook loved so very deeply. He put all his energy and effort into making sure she felt safe and loved. He was never caught lacking.
They became a couple, but that was short-lived. At one point, Chaerin went back to Korea for a while, leaving Jungkook alone with his thoughts in Australia for the last few months of his semester abroad.
He loved Chaerin when she was in his arms, and he loved her when she was gone. He loved her when she was distant, when she was unsure, and when she gave him nothing to work with. Nothing Chaerin could do would change the way Jungkook viewed her.
She was an angel.
She never called back after. He would see her posts on social media; she was happy, glowing, and living her best life. He was happy for her, but it hurt him to be so trivial in her life that she so easily forgot him.
A long line of unopened text messages was Jungkook’s last straw; he would not text or call her again.
Over time, his feelings for her weakened, and his attempts to forget how she made him feel were semi-successful.
But somehow, seeing her in front of him again, any leftover anger dissolved into thin air; he was just happy to see his Chaerin again.
“Hi,” the simple word left his lips, but his eyes spoke a thousand words more.
Chaerin softly smiled at him before unexpectedly throwing her small body into his. He immediately wrapped his strong arms around her and inhaled her peony scent.
“Hey,” she whispered against him. “I missed you, Jungkook.”
Those words meant more than the world to him.
As they broke off the hug, his hands were still on her shoulders.
“I missed you too,” he admitted sheepishly. “So… what have you been up to?”
“I’ve been good…” Chaerin spoke, her usual sweetness evident. “I got bored of Seoul, so I thought I’d come back to Sydney for a while.”
Jungkook was not surprised by that; he knew Chaerin was an indecisive person.
“Well… it’s really good to see you again,” he stated before removing his hands from her shoulders.
Chaerin simply smiled, but that was enough to make Jungkook melt.
---
You were all ready for dinner; you had put on an elegant blue dress that beautifully pronounced your body and stepped out of the room with newfound confidence.
Lily and her dad were setting the table while her mom watched over them, making sure everything was perfect for Tariq.
“Yn, you must feel weird attending a wedding after everything,” Lily’s mom spoke, not particularly taunting, just very audaciously.
Lily’s parents had always felt like you were their own daughter, which came with immense love and warmth that you always appreciated, but it unfortunately also included their entitlement to your privacy. You loved them regardless, but it did annoy you.
The tension was thick; Tariq could enter at any moment, Lily’s parents couldn’t stop mentioning how “Tariq is the perfect guy for any girl,” and you sat silently, not allowing yourself to say something that you might regret later.
“Yn was actually the one to break it off, so… I don’t see how she’d feel weird,” Jungkook suddenly defended you, irritation evident in his voice.
You froze at his words. They didn’t shock you, per se; it was simply a little unexpected. The rest of the people in the room exchanged looks of something unexplainable.
Chaerin looked between you and Jungkook with questioning eyes before reverting her gaze back to what she was doing.
Lily’s mom wore a puzzled expression on her face, confused as to why Jungkook felt the need to defend you so harshly. “It’s not about who broke up with whom; it’s about the principle. I know yn has always dreamt of being a bride.”
You knew she didn’t mean any harm, but your cheeks warmed in embarrassment at her statement. Jungkook looked at you from the side with slightly furrowed brows, while Chaerin awkwardly coughed.
“People change,” you pointed out, brushing a few strands of hair behind your ear. “And I’m truly okay; I promise. I do not regret my decision, but I kind of don’t want this topic to come up again, especially when Tariq gets here.”
Before Lily’s mom could respond, the doorbell rang, and Sophia quickly got up to open it.
“Perfect timing,” Sophia mumbled as she brushed her hands on her linen pants and walked toward the front door.
You sat up straighter in your chair, pushing a loose strand behind your ear again just to do something. Your stomach tightened as you heard the familiar, polite tone of Sophia greeting him: “Tariq! So good to see you.”
Then the front door closed, footsteps echoed down the hall, and suddenly, there he was.
Tariq stepped into the dining area with the same composed, polished energy he always carried. Tall, clean-cut, his curls a little longer than you remembered, with that annoyingly perfect posture. He smiled when his eyes landed on you; somehow, that made you feel worse.
“Yn,” he said, warm and casual, like no time had passed, exactly like he used to say it. “You look beautiful.”
You stood up halfway, lips curving into a polite smile that didn’t reach your eyes. “Hey. You look good too.”
Your eyes darted toward Lily, who was nervously fiddling with the edge of a placemat, and then to her parents, who were beaming as if their own son had returned.
Jungkook muttered something under his breath that you didn’t catch, but you felt the heat of his eyes grazing over your chest again. You didn’t even need to look. You could feel it: slow, deliberate, amused.
You subtly turned toward him. “Eyes up,” you murmured.
He just smirked, leaned in slightly, and whispered, “Can’t help it when you wear that.”
You rolled your eyes and sat back down, but your face betrayed you with a small smile. You hated that he always managed to get a reaction out of you; you hated it even more that part of you didn’t hate the attention.
Tariq took the seat across the table from you, and for a moment, the room fell into a stiff, formal kind of silence. Lily’s dad tried to break it by pouring wine; Sophia made herself busy adjusting place cards that didn’t need adjusting. Chaerin kept sneaking glances at Jungkook, her expression unreadable.
“So,” Lily’s mom said, trying to brighten the mood. “Tariq, how was the flight?”
“Yes, ma’am,” he replied. “Everything went smoothly. This house is beautiful, by the way.”
“Oh, stop,” she blushed, clearly delighted. “We’re just glad you could make it, you’ll be sleeping in the room facing ours. And yn—” she turned back to you, and your stomach braced again, “You and Jungkook are sharing a room, yes?”
You hesitated, then nodded slowly. “Yeah. Apparently, there weren’t enough rooms.”
Tariq raised his brows at that but didn’t comment. You knew he was itching to say something.
Chaerin, though, lifted her gaze. “Wait, you two are… sharing a room?”
There it was. That slight tilt of her head, the flicker of something you couldn’t place in her tone.
Jungkook leaned forward lazily, resting his elbows on the table, the corner of his mouth tugging upward. “Yeah. One bed. Cozy setup.”
You shot him a glare beneath your lashes, but he looked entirely unbothered—smug, even.
“That’s.. interesting,” Chaerin said, her voice tight but controlled.
“It wasn’t our idea,” you replied quickly. “It’s just logistics.”
“Really efficient logistics,” Jungkook added, taking a sip of his wine.
Sophia raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment. She was the only one at the table who seemed to genuinely enjoy the mess, as she wasn’t involved in it.
You rubbed your temple and murmured, “You are not making this easier.”
“Didn’t realize I was supposed to.”
The next ten minutes dragged; small talk, wine refills. Lily’s mom kept trying to get you and Tariq closer together. It made you think that maybe you should have stayed back home.
Chaerin smiled too tightly at things Jungkook said. Tariq was polite, maybe too polite, and you couldn’t tell if it was his usual charm or calculated calm.
You were certain there must at least be a little bit of anger toward you brewing inside him.
And Jungkook? He kept leaning toward you, knees brushing under the table, glancing over whenever you spoke. It was as if he wanted to send a signal.
You just couldn’t identify what exactly.
---
Later that night, when things had calmed down and most of the house was either asleep or winding down in their rooms, you stepped out onto the back patio to get some air.
The noise and forced small talk from dinner had given you a slight headache, and you needed to breathe somewhere quiet.
You heard the sliding glass door open behind you, followed by footsteps.
Jungkook.
He walked up beside you, holding two glasses of water. He offered you one. You took it.
“You okay?” he asked, voice low.
You sipped your water and gave him a side glance. “Peachy.”
He smirked a little. “Dinner was awkward.”
“Yeah…”
A brief silence stretched between you two. It wasn’t awkward.
And then you just asked, casually yet obviously curious: “So… you and Chaerin?”
Jungkook went still beside you—not in a dramatic way, just quiet. Then he let out a short breath. “Yeah.”
You nodded slowly, processing it.
It made sense; they could look good together.
“We met when I was here for that semester abroad. Lily introduced us,” he added, voice careful, almost like he was making sure not to dwell too much or share too much information.
Not because he didn’t want you to know, but because he didn’t want to look pathetic in front of you.
You didn’t say anything, just took another sip.
“She broke up with me before I left for Korea. Said she didn’t want to do long distance, but she came back here once I went back to Chicago.”
His tone wasn’t bitter by any means, but it wasn’t quite neutral either.
You turned toward him slightly. “Are you still into her?”
He didn’t answer right away. Just looked out at the dark water, jaw tense. Then, “It’s not that simple.”
Which, to you, meant yes.
You nodded again. “Hm.”
Something about that revelation planted a seed.
Because now it made sense why he stood up for you and flirted with you right in front of her. Why he didn’t seem to care about you two sharing a room—about the proximity. Why he kept looking at you like you were some sort of useful distraction. It was all a ploy to make her jealous.
Or at least you thought so.
And you weren’t offended; you were cooking up a brilliantly ridiculous idea in your head.
He wanted to get her back—or at the very least, get to her.
You needed Tariq and his fan club to back off.
You looked over at Jungkook again. “Thanks for sticking up for me at dinner.”
He tilted his head, squinting slightly. “Didn’t like how she was talking to you.”
You let the silence hang for a moment, then turned to walk back inside.
This could actually work.
You didn’t say anything yet, but the idea was there, ready to be implemented.
---
You couldn’t sleep. To be fair, you weren’t trying to; you were lying on your side, trying to gather the courage to tell Jungkook about your idea.
He wasn’t sleeping either; his breathing wasn’t even, and he wasn’t snoring, and you knew for a fact he snored when he slept.
The only light that was on was the moonlight shining through the window.
“Jungkook,” you simply said, which warranted a “hm?” from him. “Are you awake?”
He turned to you, now facing you. You could tell he was a little sleepy. “Yeah… everything all right?”
You nodded, your lips slightly pouty. Jungkook’s eyes were studying your face, like they often did, but this time you felt a little smaller than usual; it was more intense for some reason.
Your legs were touching a little, his hands very subtly brushing against your waist before he removed them.
Jungkook suddenly sat up straight, prompting you to do so as well. He looked over at you.
“What are you thinking about?” he broke the silence, his head resting against the headboard and glancing down at you.
You sighed, mimicking his movement.
“Nothing,” you replied softly, your eyes now focused on your hands that were resting in your lap. “…Actually, there is something.”
Jungkook nodded, encouraging you to continue with a look in his eyes.
“So…” you hesitantly continued. “I was thinking… Tariq is here, and… Lily’s parents are just… ugh, and Chaerin… and I-”
He chuckled lightly at your confusing sentence. “Are you going somewhere with this?”
You sent him a pointed look. “Yes, ugh, just let me finish.”
Jungkook held his hands up in surrender, that lazy smile tugging at his lips.
You took a breath before spitting it out, “I think we should fake date.”
There was a semi-long beat of silence.
He blinked. “I’m sorry, what?”
Rolling your eyes, you said, “You heard me.”
He stared at you for another couple of seconds, his facial expression a mixture of confusion and amusement. “Did I fall asleep and miss the part where we turned thirteen again?”
You groaned, shoving his shoulder. “Please don’t be annoying.”
“I’m not! I’m just surprised,” he said, laughing softly now. “You hate me.”
“I don’t hate you,” you muttered, crossing your arms. “You just… annoy me sometimes.”
His grin widened. “Right. And now you want to date me.”
“Fake date you. Besides, I could tolerate you. I’m a great actress.”
Jungkook tilted his head, something unreadable flickering behind his eyes. “Why?”
You glanced down at your lap again, picking at your fingers. “Because Lily’s parents won’t stop talking about Tariq, and Tariq is here now, and Chaerin is here, and everyone is either watching me or watching you. I just thought maybe we could make it easier on each other.”
You paused. Then, a little quieter, you added, “You want Chaerin to regret dumping you, right?”
That caught his attention. His playful expression faltered, if only slightly. You continued.
“She’ll see you moving on. With someone else. Someone you know from back home,” you added, flicking your eyes toward him meaningfully. “Believe me, it’ll drive her crazy.”
Little by little, he slowly looked like he was considering the offer.
“And,” you added, “you’ll be allowed to kiss me and touch me. Whenever you want. Wherever you want.”
He didn’t say anything for a long second.
Then he blew out a soft breath and shook his head, laughing under his breath. “You’re dangerous, you know that?”
You smiled sweetly and unbothered, batting your eyelashes at him. “Is that a yes?”
Jungkook’s eyes dropped to your lips. Then lower. The shirt you were wearing had shifted slightly when you leaned forward, exposing a bit more of your chest. His gaze lingered for a moment longer than it probably should have. Then he looked back at your face.
“Yeah,” he said finally. “Okay. I’m in.”
You both sat in silence for a moment.
“We need rules,” you said firmly, shifting into a more business-like tone.
He groaned dramatically. “Oof… alright.”
“Rules are what will make this believable, you idiot.”
He smirked. “Fine. Hit me.”
You raised a finger. “Number one: no unnecessary touching.”
Jungkook gave you a look. “Define unnecessary.”
“You know what I mean.”
“See, I feel like what you define as unnecessary, I define as method acting,” he said with a shit-eating grin on his face. “Gotta stay in character.”
You narrowed your eyes. “You just want an excuse to get handsy.”
“Not true. I’d get handsy regardless.”
You huffed. “Fine, but no touching when we’re alone.”
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. “Why not?”
“Because that’s where people catch feelings,” you deadpanned. “and it defeats the purpose of the act.”
He raised both hands again. “Alright, alright.”
“That’s rule number two,” you said. “No catching real feelings.”
“That won’t be a problem for me,” he confidently spoke. “For you, on the other hand…”
You hit him on the shoulder, which immediately shut him up, but not without a chuckle.
You continued, “We don’t tell anyone it’s fake. Not even Lily.”
Jungkook simply nodded. “Okay, my turn.”
You raised an eyebrow. “You have rules?”
“Just one,” he said, shifting a little closer, voice lower. “You don’t get to flinch when I touch you.”
You blinked. “What?”
“You act like my hand is made of fire every time I go near you. Doesn’t exactly sell the whole ‘crazy about each other’ thing.”
You bit the inside of your cheek. “Fine. But don’t be weird about it.”
“I’m never weird,” he said with a wink.
You looked at him pointedly.
“Okay, rarely weird.”
There was another moment of silence, your knees brushing as you sat facing each other, before you both lay back down.
“Goodnight, baby.”
You didn’t say anything to that, at least not right away.
“Don’t call me that,” you finally muttered, turning onto your side to face the other way.
“Get used to it,” Jungkook said, his voice already muffled by the pillow. “We’re in love now, remember?”
You could hear the smile in his voice.
And then, silence again. A comfortable one, strangely.
You fell asleep smiling.

the viscount who loved me | jjk
Tumblr media
It was your sister’s season, and she was the diamond, while your season was still a year away. Though suitors could seek your hand already, it doesn’t excuse you for secretly pining after the viscount who courted her.
viscount!jungkook x reader
warnings: (kinda??) morally gray yn and jk, sexism (c’mon it’s the 18th century what did u expect), sex (bye minors), it’s not sex centered tho, longing and yearning (bring real romance back), cheating (is it tho, idk u be the judge), u might get mad at the main characters, enemies to lovers, heavily inspired (or stolen) by my loves anthony and kate 😍😍, yn is the younger sister and has yet to enter her season, but she is in her twenties!! (not specified in the text, but i was thinking jk is like 27, yn’s sis is 24 and yn is like 22, just to clarify) is idk what else. ENJOY!
_
The fresh, sunny air of London on that day called you to leave the mansion and ride your horse, Cinnamon, into the forest, just as you did every morning that was suitable for a nice ride. It was not entirely proper to do so in that society, but they did not need to know about it. You always felt safe; you rode at a time of day when you were sure nobody would see you. You had a set time of 20 minutes; after that, you returned home, wearing a cloak with a hat that covered half your face. If someone were to catch you, you could merely lower the hat, and they would not know who you were. The last thing you wanted was to bring shame on your family, especially not in a society as cruel as that one.
You rode to your familiar place and felt the breeze of the wind in your hair; you felt free. It continued to be the beautiful, calm ride you were used to—until you heard the sounds of a man, seemingly talking to you.
"Miss?" the voice from afar called. "Miss, are you in trouble?" To your dismay, the voice came closer so quickly that you did not know where to go or what to do. If you were to ride deeper into the forest, you would get lost, and if you rode straight ahead, the man would see you either way. It seemed even this baggy cloak could not conceal your femininity as you had thought it would.
The man came nearer, and you turned your head so he would not recognize you.
"Miss, if there is a problem, I shall help you," his deep voice stated. "It is not suited for a young lady to be out here unchaperoned."
You did not say a word, your face still turned in the opposite direction. You did not think it through, and he turned his horse to face you, ducking his head to see you. You had never felt this silly in your life. You took off the hat hesitantly, revealing long curls and innocent, almost pleading eyes.
Before you sat the infamous Viscount Jeon on his horse, a most important figure of the ton. The gossip columns described him as a ‘rake through and through,’ yet he was as captivating as a summer’s night and as wealthy as the stars were numerous. Indeed, there was not a mother in the ton who did not dream of him marrying her daughter.
You were sure he recognized you as well; with your sister being the diamond of the season, there was not a single gentleman in London who did not know the family he wished to marry into.
"I know you," he revealed. "You are the daughter of Baron Ln. Miss, you should not be here alone. It is dangerous."
"I am not here alone, my lord; I am here with Cinnamon... and you are here, also," you stammered, hesitantly and nervously.
The viscount did not hide his amusement, chuckling while shaking his head. He found the entire sentence you had just said to be hilarious.
"You do not need to be scared; I shall not tell a soul about this encounter," he reassured you, still chuckling. "But I believe you should head home now, for your folks should get worried."
You listened to him, still flushed and slightly embarrassed, and headed home.
The Viscount Jeon certainly was gentler than what the columns wrote about him.
___
"Mother, I was unable to breathe in this corset. It was utterly ridiculous, and it elevated my bosoms up to the sky," you said, exaggerating, while your maid tied up the corset—who was, at that moment, your rival.
The last ball you attended had been the first of the season at the palace, where your beautiful sister, Nadia, had been chosen as the season’s diamond by the queen herself. You had been proud beyond measure; your sister was the eldest of your household and often played a secondary motherly role. She deserved to have the finest suitors begging for just a pinch of her attention.
"I did not have such a problem, sister, and my corset was just as tight, if not tighter, than yours," Nadia declared, looking down at her much flatter body.
"I cannot help but wonder why..." sarcasm left your mouth.
Since the queen’s announcement, your mother had not stopped rushing, running errands, investing in your jewelry collections, and buying dresses from the finest modistes in the city. Your mother had always been insatiable and prideful, yet you had never seen this side of her before.
"My dear Yn, your sister is the diamond of the season; she is destined to wed a most extraordinary gentleman, one who must possess both fortune and lands in locales of which we have never even heard, and court her heart with poetry. Such is the very least that the daughter of a most noble man is entitled to receive. She is the jewel of her season, which ensures that all eyes shall be upon her—and upon us. We shall create a most splendid impression at tonight's ball at Danbury House. We simply must," Lady Ln proclaimed, her pride evident as she gazed at herself and her two eldest daughters in the mirror. "Moreover, Yn, what is this lamentation regarding your bosoms? Such femininity is precisely what captivates a gentleman and stirs envy among the young ladies of the ton. You shall also find your match. Both of my daughters are undeniably the most beautiful women of the ton, nay, of the entire world!"
You and Nadia glanced at each other, trying not to laugh at your mother’s boasting. She had been excited to get her daughters married since they were born, always saying that marrying off a son was not as exciting and beautiful as marrying off a daughter. Your two older brothers had both gotten married in the last few years.
You did not like to admit it, but you had been dreaming of your prince charming since you were just a little girl, waiting to get married. Not because of the couples you knew, but because of the books you read that spoke of longing, making you feel as if you were living the character’s life.
"Lena, get the ladies ready; I shall attend to the little ones. They are out in the gardens, engaged in activities unknown to me," your mother commanded the maid, exiting the chamber with graceful haste to see what her mischievous twins were up to.
"Is it not amusing how mama calls Hana and Idris little ones despite their approaching age of sixteen?" Nadia shook her head, smiling. She admired herself in the mirror and told Lena to fix up her hair. "I must look perfect."
Nadia was a perfectionist through and through, the eldest daughter of a baron and his insatiable wife—a combination that could only produce a girl whose expectations for herself were high, too high for anyone to reach.
"You do look perfect. You are the diamond, Nadia; not a single soul in that ballroom shall utter an ill word about you—and if they do, it is out of pure envy," you said adoringly. "I must say, I cannot wait to meet my new brother; I bet he is a most handsome gentleman who shall ask you to dance, and in the morning, he shall call on you, saying how he cannot stop thinking about you and that you are as beautiful as a blooming flower."
Your teasing was accompanied by you dancing around playfully and blinking your eyes at a fast rate, which irritated your maid, who, of course, wouldn’t say a word to you beyond measure as she adjusted your dress. Nadia shoved your shoulder in a joking manner, smiling to herself.
"I shall find myself a love match, much like Baba and Mama—I desire a love like theirs; that is my only goal," her eyes communicated her feelings of yearn, while you nodded.
"You shall. You are your mother’s daughter, after all; you shall always get what it is you desire," you kissed her cheeks encouragingly, and she looked at you with thankfulness.
"Ladies! The carriages have arrived. Make haste!" Your mother’s demanding voice called from downstairs, resulting in you immediately strutting down the stairs.
___
The Jeon family had a reputation to uphold. They were known for their generosity, their welcoming spirits, their lavish homes, and their riches. The viscountess was nothing short of the perfect viscountess, continuing to be so, even after her husband’s tragic death a mere couple of years ago.
She intended to find herself a replacement that season, desperately wanting to marry off her eldest, the viscount. Her desperation did not come from a place of fear of undesirability; it was quite the opposite.
The viscountess feared her son might be looking for a wife for the wrong reasons. What she and her late husband shared was a love she wished for all of her children; yet her son seemed to see the world differently. He wanted a wife only to fulfill his duties and produce an heir.
"Jungkook, the search for happiness and love is not shameful. It is indeed the bravest thing a man can do—to listen to his heart and let it guide him," the viscountess tried to woo her son, who did not look up from his estate’s accounts ledgers. "You cannot hold interviews for eligible young ladies to find a suitable one; you shall know she is the one when you gaze upon her and converse with her for the very first time."
"When will you realize that what you and father had is the exception, not the rule? I am the viscount; I hold many responsibilities, and one of them is to wed a girl of good noble breeding to replace you as viscountess and produce an heir who shall lead this family when I am gone," Jungkook responded calmly. "I have indeed let my heart guide me; we are in agreement. I shall not continue with the interviews, as I have already found my future bride in Miss Nadia, the daughter of Baron Ln."
His mother was shocked at the revelation, looking at him with a glimpse of hope and wonder. "The diamond? Oh, how delightful! She must have great promise to have caught the eyes of the viscount."
She recalled the last ball when the queen announced Nadia as the diamond. Her son had not had a chance to talk to her that night, as the girl was occupied with many overbearing suitors and mothers.
"Yes, indeed, Mother. She is accomplished in literature, she plays many instruments, dances quite beautifully, and she comes from a most respectable family. She shall be my viscountess," he explained further. "We shall attend the ball at Danbury House tonight, united as one. Miss Nadia shall be there as well; we might find a suitable gentleman for Yoona if that is what she wishes." Jungkook was referring to his younger sister as he spoke.
"Wonderful," his mother’s eyes sparkled with joy.
___
The Jeon family arrived quite late, but in style. The viscount dressed in fitted trousers and a crisp white shirt that accentuated his strong arms and broad shoulders, his brothers dressed similarly, and his sisters in beautiful, rich silk gowns.
Jungkook was already on the lookout for a certain diamond who had caught the attention of the entire ton. He was not worried she would reject his advances; after all, he was the viscount, and there was not a single gentleman in London who could claim to be more eligible than him.
"Excuse me," he gracefully pushed through the people standing before the diamond, all waiting for a turn to speak with her. "I wish to dance with you, Miss Nadia."
As the voice of the viscount was heard, the stares of the ton overwhelmed Nadia, everybody in utter shock; the viscount, who mothers had been trying to get to look at their daughters for years, wished to dance with a girl in her first season out? How very surprising and envy-inducing.
Nadia nodded shyly, letting go of her very proud mother’s hand and accepting the viscount’s. She wondered where her sister was until she saw her at the drink stand fetching herself a lemonade.
"You are an excellent dancer, my lady," Jeongguk expressed, his hand in hers as they attracted all the eyes of the crowd.
"That is all your doing, my lord," she shyly answered, a blush creeping up on her cheeks. "You are quite a natural."
Their conversation continued for the next few minutes. They discussed very trivial matters, but Jeongguk made sure to let her know that she had caught his eye.
Eventually, Nadia moved on to another gentleman, and the viscount disappeared out of sight.
After a while of proudly watching your sister dance beautifully with potential suitors, you decided to step outside for a while to catch a breath of fresh air.
You were not particularly in the mood for dancing that night.
"Do not tell me the Viscount Jeon is looking for a love match this season; what happened to the viscount who visited his courtesan at least once a day and enjoyed a good brothel show?"
As you walked into the garden of the grand Danbury House, you heard a conversation that sparked your interest. A group of men, including the viscount who had just danced with your sister, and a few others you did not recognize, were talking. Letting your curiosity wander, you remained silent and listened to their talk unfold.
"I assure you, I am not out to find a love match; I am simply fulfilling my duties. Is it so impossible to find a suitable wife for a viscount, one who has hips meant for birthing, the ability to woo me with her intellect, and does not require love? It is simply a struggle," Jeongguk complained.
"Not a lady in London lives up to the standards of the viscount, I presume," the other man standing laughed. "I have seen you dance and converse with the diamond of this season; tell me, Viscount Jeon, does the diamond live up to your standards?"
"She is a respectable young woman who I plan on getting to know better, but I must not judge yet, for I fear I do not know what I might find out," the viscount answered the man’s question with honesty.
By then, you were sure your face was red with anger. How dare that man, that filthy rake, talk about your sister or any woman that way? And to think that Nadia was completely smitten with him already, you could not believe this audacious behavior.
They continued talking about useless things.
"We shall go back inside, my lord; are you coming with us?" one of them asked.
"No, you go. I shall join you later," he said, wanting to stay in the fresh air.
He started moving in your direction, and you quickly tried to get away, but your foot caught something, making a loud noise. "Who is there?"
You knew you were as good as caught, so you revealed yourself. "It is you. Were you eavesdropping?"
It seemed his audacity continued.
There was a spark in his eyes as he looked you up and down, as if he suddenly remembered the encounter you had in the woods or as if he really enjoyed what he saw.
"I was not! Also, one cannot eavesdrop in a public space…" you defended yourself. "The words you spoke were filthy and jarring, my lord; I cannot help but believe it is best if you do not let your interest in my sister unfold."
He visibly became uncomfortable, the evidence in his face demonstrating that he knew he had said things that did not particularly present him well.
"Those words were not meant for your ears, Miss Yn," he said, attempting to maintain his composure.
"I heard them regardless. If this is you with all your guards down, if these are your true feelings, you are not a suitable match for my sister," you emphasized defiantly.
The viscount lifted his eyebrows at you, letting his eyes linger on your body until he gazed into your face again. "You do realize there is not a lady in London who does not seek the kind of marriage I offer? That is, besides the privileges of becoming the viscountess."
"Oh, is that true? You assume the ladies of London are so easily charmed by a pleasing smile and nothing more?" you questioned him, causing him to grin.
"You find my smile pleasing?" he smirked down at you.
"I find your opinion of yourself entirely too high. And I stand by what I said; you do not suit my sister," you spoke, crossing your arms.
He skimmed your body, an amusing expression forming on his face. "Miss Yn, I remember the morning in the park very well. It seems to me that you do not care much for the rules of this society; that is why you spoke to your viscount in that manner."
"My apologies, my lord. I simply feel defensive over my sister," you apologized, feeling blood rush to your face.
"That is quite all right; I know what it is like to have siblings one cares for," his smile was warm, which surprised you.
After a few awkwardly intense looks between you two, you decided to bow respectfully and leave the scene.
You left Jeongguk standing for a while, the smile on his face visible even from a long distance; your jasmine scent lingered, and your words never left his mind.
___
Ever since the announcement, suitors from all over London had come to visit the Ln house to spend time with the diamond.
You quickly got used to seeing gentlemen in your house every morning, conversing with your older sister while you pretended to be occupied with something else, secretly listening to their conversations.
That day was no different. It was exciting, to say the least, not only because you were happy for your sister, who was receiving all these presents and love, but also because it broadened your understanding of courtships; your sister was paving the path for you in the future.
Oh, how excited you were for your future marriage.
As you walked downstairs after waking up from a long night of carefree sleep, you could already hear the distant sounds of a suitor.
You smiled to yourself, walking into the spacious living room, where you found your mother and father sitting on one couch with smiles that spoke volumes.
As you entered the room completely and saw who your sister was talking to, your face began to drop.
It was him. The viscount.
The man whom you could not escape from, for some reason.
While they finished their conversation, your mother noticed you standing there. "Good morning, Yn! Look who came to visit your sister first thing in the morning! Greet the Viscount Jeon."
You bowed respectfully and begrudgingly spoke, "Good morning, my lord."
He simply smirked, reciprocating the greeting.
It was as if he was provoking you with his handsome face and effortless demeanor.
"I shall head home now," he announced, standing up from his seat. "Breaking my fast here was very lovely indeed, Lord and Lady Ln; I must thank you dearly."
They exchanged pleasantries and enthusiastic goodbyes, of course, not without the viscount promising to come back tomorrow around the same time.
As he stepped outside, you followed him, pretending to go on a garden stroll.
"My lord!" you called after him, making him turn around to you.
"Yes, Miss Yn?" he spoke with a tinge of teasing, which seemed to always be present when he spoke with you.
His coachman was patiently waiting, watching you two standing face to face.
"Why have you called on my sister?" you asked; you were always known for your bluntness, which was something you tried to work on.
The viscount sent you a questioning but amusing look before replying, "Am I not allowed to?"
You shook your head, trying to put your thoughts into words.
"You are allowed," you answered hesitantly. "But what I said to you at Danbury House, I meant. I do not believe you are the right man for my sister."
There was a short exchange of glances between you; you hoping he understood your concerns and him wondering how you gathered the audacity to speak to a viscount that way.
It was not that he was angry about it; he was merely surprised. He had never had a person talk to him that way.
"Miss Yn," he started, his voice low. "I believe your sister can make her own decisions, can she not? And I must say, she did not seem to have a problem with my presence at all… quite the contrary."
You knew he was right, but there was something in your intuition telling you that this would not work out; you looked at him and did not see your sister’s future husband.
Yes, he was wealthy, and he was quite handsome, but still… he was not the man your sister was looking for.
"I believe I know my sister better than you do, my lord," you insisted, as stubborn as you always were.
He simply chuckled. "I do not doubt it," before hopping into the carriage and waving goodbye to you.
You could not comprehend how severely irksome he was.
___
In the following weeks, Jungkook tried his hardest to impress your sister; calling on her, giving her extravagant gifts, attending events and balls seemingly only for her.
It felt like he could propose to her at any moment, and you did not like it.
Your sister, on the other hand, seemed to be very happy with the viscount’s affection for her.
Who would not be?
One day, your mother hosted a gathering in the diamond’s name—an opportunity for suitors to see your sister and make themselves known to her.
The Jeon family was invited and set to attend, but the invitation for the viscount was lost in the mail.
Jungkook was very busy that day; meetings and managing accounts and staff took up a great deal of his time.
He did not have time to prepare himself for the crucial task ahead.
After asking his brother, Namjoon, for help with the poetry he intended to read out loud at the Ln house, he read over the piece of paper and could not control his scoffs; he thought poetry might be the most deceptive tool of all.
Such pretty, empty words.
He ordered a carriage, hastily moving to make it to the party that he was so conveniently not invited to, and hoped for the best.
The doorman immediately let him in, obviously knowing who the Viscount Jeon was—a familiar face to all of London indeed. Marching in as if he owned the place, he found a huge gathering of gentlemen performing their talents—or lack thereof—to impress Nadia.
You and Nadia were sitting next to each other on the sofa; you wore a judging yet amused face, and Nadia looked very grateful for the time they took for her.
He dreaded that his eyes lingered on you for far longer than they did on your sister; you were wearing an accentuating, expensive gown and a classic updo, your expressive eyes drew him in.
"Please excuse my tardiness," Jungkook took his chance right when someone finished his performance, making a loud announcement that turned everybody’s head. "I shall read a poem I wrote for Miss Nadia.”
Your expression was hard to read; though you were certainly annoyed by his sudden appearance, there was something gleaming in your eyes that he could not overlook. Your eyes locked in a room full of people, something that seemed to happen quite frequently between the two of you. Your effect on him made him nervous to perform; for some reason, he cared for your opinion quite a bit.
Naturally, everybody respected the viscount and his wishes, giving him their full attention. Nadia’s smile was beaming; your mother was more than happy to see the viscount show further interest in her daughter, and the rest were in awe of the viscount, whose shell was very hard to penetrate to make such an effort for the diamond.
"What is it to truly admire a woman?" he read from a small piece of paper in his hand, and your heart began to beat faster than it should have. "To look at her and feel inspiration, to delight in her beauty, so much that all— all your defenses—"
Suddenly, he stopped; everybody in the room quieted as they attentively listened to his beautiful words. His sudden silence caught some off guard, including you, who sat there looking at him with longing eyes, and Nadia, whose smile slowly vanished. Whispers began to break out.
"My apologies, I cannot do this," the viscount stated, resulting in Nadia frowning slightly. "Truth be told, I am not a man of poetry; those words are someone else’s entirely."
A few quiet gasps could be heard around the crowd of people, but Jungkook did not shy away from speaking the truth.
"Miss Nadia... I cannot offer you pretty words and rhymes, but I assure you, when it comes to action and duty; I shall never be found lacking."
Your breath hitched in your throat, as if his words were hitting you in your chest.
There was a part of you that was grateful for his honesty; the probability that your sister would not want to continue a courtship based on a false perception.
But there was another part that hated his honesty; why did the man you were supposed to hate repeatedly find his way into your heart by revealing sides of him you felt drawn to?
You knew the viscount did not want a love match.
And you loathed him.
So why did your chest burn with every word he spoke?
You could tell your sister was lost for words, watching the viscount with curious eyes.
"Nadia..." your voice came out smaller than you expected. "If you wish for him to leave, I—"
But your sister’s response shocked you. She stood up and clapped her hands, a sign of approval for the viscount’s words.
Others started joining her, but you stayed put in your place.
Jungkook’s growing smile beamed, feeling relieved that Nadia didn’t seem to mind his lack of verbal affection.
"Nadia," you murmured to your sister. "Did you not hear what he said? He cannot offer you the love that you long for."
Nadia let out an understanding "I know," before explaining herself, "I have come to accept that. I do not need a love match that can turn into an incompatible marriage in the future; I now merely desire a stable, harmonious marriage, and I believe the viscount can offer that to me."
You did not know what to do besides sigh and nod. "I just want you to be happy, Nini."
Your sister took your hand and lovingly squeezed it before giggling. "I do hope you and the viscount can find common ground throughout our marriage."
You simply awkwardly smiled at her to mask the storm brewing inside you.
She got up to confront the viscount, while you sat on the couch, staring into nothingness while contemplating the confusing feelings that were so foreign to you.
___
With every passing day and night, Jungkook found himself consumed by thoughts of you.
You appeared in his dreams, haunting him like a beautiful ghost, the face behind his sleepless nights.
He was aware of the problematic nature of the situation—courting one sister while dreaming of the other was not something a gentleman did.
But your beauty resembled summer nights and hidden love letters, while your resistant character was consuming and complex; yet he saw kindness in your eyes.
To be truthful, he could not stop his thoughts surrounding you since that morning in the park—the first time you two talked, the first time he heard your beautiful voice.
While you swore you would not admit it to a living soul, you felt similarly.
The viscount refused to leave your mind, appearing in your dreams unannounced and causing havoc inside your heart with every moment you stayed in or out of his presence.
You could not bear it.
Not only did the viscount consume you, but shame accompanied him.
But you promised yourself it was a fleeting moment, and he told himself to suppress his feelings.
___
"My dears, we have received an invitation from Jeon House, inviting us for a week to their country residence in order to continue the courtship away from the ton’s attention; is that not lovely?" your mother spoke, excitement evident in her voice. She was sat beside your father, who was paying more attention to the pie.
"Ah, yes, I’m afraid I cannot join you for that trip; I have business to attend to here in the city," your father spoke, placing a reassuring hand over your mother’s. "But I am certain you will handle it yourself, dear."
Your mother simply nodded and smiled, still in a very happy state about where her daughter’s courtship was headed. Nadia was sat next to you with a similar shy smile on her face.
You, on the other hand, could not help but feel a strange sensation; it was so foreign and something you could not describe. You loved seeing your sister happy, yet there was always a selfish voice in your head.
What if the viscount were to propose?
You began to imagine that scenario in your mind, and you did not like the thought of it at all.
But you feared it wasn’t because of your ‘hatred’ for the viscount, but because of something that was quite the opposite.
___
After packing, organizing carriages, and your mother stressing the entire day, you finally made your journey to the countryside.
It was only your mother, your sister, and you, as your mother thought your younger siblings were better off at home with the housekeeper.
You felt beautiful, dressed in the finest clothes, the most beautiful cosmetics put on your already lovely face. But you were in an undeniable state of distress.
Just as you stepped out of the carriage after four long hours, you were met with the friendly faces of the Jeon family.
Your eyes immediately met the viscount’s, who always seemed to have a certain look of yearning and some sort of pain when he saw you. You locked eyes with his deep brown ones, which somehow spoke a thousand words. His nostrils flared slightly, and it was as if you were both in a trance, unable to take your eyes off each other.
You shared a moment swimming in his eyes before he slowly diverted his gaze elsewhere.
Somehow, he looked even more handsome than the last time you had seen him.
You rued those feelings, the tingle you felt near him, the desperate need to be in his strong arms, to be the only one he knew to love—those feelings you had only read about in books, the tingling in body parts you were taught not to speak of.
But more than that, you cursed yourself for feeling them; how dare you think about your sister’s intended that way?
Were you a girl of no upbringing? Were you not a lady intended for marriage in just less than a year? It was breaking not only your soul but your perception of yourself to be plagued by these feelings; but you knew it would break you more to betray your sister, so you knew you had to stay quiet.
Amidst your overwhelming thoughts, a graceful young lady who was about the age of your older sister and bore a great resemblance to the viscount approached you, right after greeting your mother. She stood next to the viscount, and unbeknownst to you, noticed the shared glances of longing between the viscount and you, surprised to see her usually earnest brother so taken by a girl.
"You must be Miss Nadia," she spoke with a gentle smile. "I am Miss Yoona, the viscount’s younger sister. I have heard very much about you. You are even more beautiful than he described."
You bowed respectfully, yet you did not have the words to express that you were not who she thought you were.
Jungkook stepped in, embarrassment slightly evident on his face as he coughed a little. "Yoona, that is not Miss Nadia; that is her little sister—Miss Yn."
He then pointed to your sister, who was greeting the viscountess. You saw a look of confusion on Yoona’s face.
After everybody greeted each other, you settled into the rooms assigned to you and made yourselves at home.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very elegantly decorated.
The Jeons were indeed a very generous family.
You suppressed the thought of how lovely it would be to marry into the family, as it was just a thought for you, but the reality for your sister.
And you did not want to hurt your sister or yourself.
___
Despite the comfortable beds and the expensive silk fabric of the sheets, you could not sleep.
Not only because you were not used to sleeping on foreign beds in foreign houses, but because, if your mind could not rest, you could not.
Nadia, on the other hand, had fallen fast asleep on the bed next to yours.
You needed something to distract you from the chaos in your head; a glass of cold water or a breath of fresh air would do.
As silently as you could, you got out of bed and started wandering the halls of the grand Jeon house with a lamp in your hand.
It was magnificent.
You breathed in the warmth, smiling to yourself; it was as if the house knew what a loving family owned it.
While walking towards nothing specific, you stumbled into a large room, empty of people and full of books.
You entered it with a calm heart, grabbing one book after another, taking in the beauty of the written words.
Your calmness was short-lived as you heard the huge door open. You gasped loudly and held up the lamp to see who it was.
Before you stood the viscount in a nightshirt that modestly exposed his muscular arms. He looked handsome, even at nighttime.
"Are you not able to sleep, Miss Yn?" he asked while fully entering the room.
You shyly turned your whole body toward him, feeling exposed in your silky nightgown that clung to your every curve.
Feeling his eyes flicker over you, a sense of timidity washed over you. "No... I cannot seem to fall asleep. I do apologize for roaming around without permission, my lord; I simply could not resist these many books."
Jungkook chuckled softly, shaking his head slightly.
"You do not need to apologize," he assured you, now standing in front of you. "This is...was my father’s library. He read and collected books from all over the world. He was a very well-read man."
"May his soul rest easy," you softly sighed, pouting slightly at the mention of his deceased father. "He sounds like an extraordinary man."
Jungkook nodded in agreement. "He was. I would not be the man and the viscount that I am today if it were not for him."
You did not answer, simply making space for a short moment of beautiful silence between you. Your eyes were intertwined with his deep ones; you felt as if you could dive into them.
"Can I ask you a question?" he suddenly asked; you simply nodded. "Why is it that you are so opposed to the idea of me marrying your sister? Do you truly hate me so?"
You broke the eye contact for a second, trying to gather your answer, while your heartbeat undeniably quickened. "I do not hate you, my lord. I simply worry for my sister. I want the very best for her."
The viscount came closer to you, chuckling again, exposing his barely visible dimples. "And you believe that I cannot offer her the best?"
Your arms were now touching, sending electricity through your body.
"I simply cannot forget what I overheard in the gardens at Danbury House," you answered his question as confidently as you could.
Jungkook’s eyes slightly darkened at your words. "Those words were not for your ears, Miss Yn."
You started to become defensive, letting out a "But I did hear them regardless."
He poked his cheek with his tongue, his nostrils flaring up with mild anger, stepping closer to you until there was hardly any space left between you. "You do not know how much you aggravate me, Yn Ln."
You now felt his fresh breath against your face, causing dizziness.
"And you," you uttered quietly in response, your eyelids becoming heavier. "You believe you do not vex me? I have only grown to accept your presence for my sister’s sake, but only God knows how long I will last in this... this lie."
Jungkook tucked your hair behind your ear, leaning in to whisper into it. "This lie that you insist upon, what is it exactly? That you and I vex each other... or that we cannot seem to get away from one another?"
His voice was low and thick, tinged with a hint of teasing. You slightly backed away, but only to meet his dark eyes, which seemed to challenge you.
He leaned in until his lips were almost brushing against yours.
"My lord," you spoke in a soft whisper. "I—"
The sound of the door opening interrupted you.
Before you could get away from each other, a shocked Yoona witnessed the scene; as quickly as she entered, she left again, closing the door after saying a rushed "I am so sorry.”
You separated from Jungkook immediately after, running out in embarrassment and shame, leaving Jungkook standing in the middle of the library.
You could not believe what you had done.
___
Dinner with the Jeons was incredibly amusing; they were a big, loving family who were not afraid to share jokes and stories, even in front of guests.
To say you enjoyed yourself at dinner would have been an understatement.
In a moment of beautiful chaos, everybody laughed while simultaneously discussing intellectual topics. Jungkook raised his glass and stood up to make an announcement.
He was seated at the head of the table.
"I would very much like to start my toast by thanking our dear guests for taking their time to visit us at our country house. We are very delighted by your presence here with us," he started his tasteful speech. "Miss Nadia, it has been a delight to get to know you further. It is safe to say the Baron and Baroness Ln deserve praise for raising such an upstanding, demure woman... I would like to ask you a question, Miss Nadia."
While he spoke, the entire room fell silent, everybody attentively listening. His words added suspense to the atmosphere, making everyone wonder what he wanted to ask her.
It was obvious what everybody immediately thought of—for he was most likely going to ask for her hand in marriage.
Your mother and Nadia exchanged excited looks while you felt a thick lump form in your throat. The Jeons were all looking at Jungkook with an air of anticipation, waiting for him to finally speak the words.
Yoona tried her best not to gaze upon her brother with a frown of disapproval after she experienced whatever it was that happened between him and you the other night.
Jungkook began to awkwardly cough and put on somewhat of a feigned smile. "I wanted to ask you if you were ready for a game of pall-mall with this family or if you’d rather spare yourself the mayhem."
The whole table broke out in laughter—partially because they genuinely laughed and partially to cover up the awkwardness of the situation.
But you did not laugh, and neither did your sister.
"I would be... honored to play a game of pall-mall with you and your family, my lord," your sister tried to mask her sadness playfully.
During the rest of the dinner, your hand was placed on your sister’s back, soothingly running it up and down her spine.
___
Hours after the dinner, it was nighttime when you were supposed to be asleep, but you and Nadia found yourselves sitting on the bed—her head on your lap and your hand in her hair.
You always comforted each other in non-ideal situations, but this time felt different; it was the first time you felt you had wronged your sister, being the reason for her despair.
"Perhaps the viscount does not wish to propose because of you," your sister suggested, looking up and trying to gauge your reaction.
Your breath slightly hitched as you felt your cheeks warm.
"Uh—whatever do you mean, sister?" you carefully asked.
Nadia gave you a knowing look, presumably confused as to how you did not understand what she meant.
"The two of you loathe one another!" she exclaimed, her words making you sigh in relief. "He is probably under the impression that you would not approve."
You chuckled lightly at the irony. "Nini, he does not care what I think! I am your younger sister, not Baba or even Mama. Even if I do not approve, I do not make the decisions for this family; Baba does."
Your sister nodded but elaborated further, "I know, but there is something in my heart telling me that you are the reason he is so... reluctant."
Your heart skipped a beat, hoping she would not come to the right conclusions, wondering how you could steer her away from thoughts that could possibly lead to the destruction of your sisterly relationship.
"It is not as if I am desperate to marry him, but I believe it would make Mama and Baba unbelievably happy if I were to marry the viscount," she continued, sighing as she absentmindedly played with her hair. "He is wealthy, and he comes from a great family... I do not want to disappoint them."
"If the viscount does not wish to propose to you, it is not because you are lacking, Nini. You shall find wealthy suitors in every city you visit," you stated your opinion. "But I shall talk to him about it if that is what you wish."
Nadia jumped up from your lap, now facing you.
"I should very much like that, Yn," she admitted.
You gave her a gentle smile before getting up to pay the viscount’s office a visit.
His office was on the other side of the mansion—a long way to walk—but with your thoughts running wild, you did not feel the length of the walk.
You knocked on his door hesitantly and entered after he called out, "Come in."
He was seated at his paper-covered desk, staring down with intensity before looking up and seeing you.
"Miss Yn," he addressed you with a trace of surprise in his voice. "Is everything quite all right?"
You did not feel like wasting time, so you jumped right to your point.
"You have been set on courting my sister despite my every objection, and now you plan to cast her aside?" you accused, your tone defensive. "What has she done to deserve this?"
His eyes darkened; he momentarily forgot about the paperwork, getting up from his chair to walk up to you.
"It is not her," he raised his voice. "It is you."
His honest words felt like a gentle hit in your face; your intuition knew what he meant.
"But I am to marry next season!" you exclaimed reactively.
"You believe that is what I desire you to do?" he shouted, his jaw clenched. "There is not a thing you can do—not a corner on this earth that you can travel to—that will free me from this torment."
He continued, "I am a gentleman; my father raised me to act with honor, but that honor hangs by a thread that grows more precarious with every moment I spend in your presence."
"You are the bane of my existence... and the object of all my desires," the viscount added, almost in agony, coming closer to you, whispering in your ear. "Night and day, I dream of you. And when I—do you even know all the ways a lady can be seduced? The things I could teach you..."
Your breath hitched; your tight dress accentuated your breasts as your breath quickened with every word he spoke with every step he took closer to you.
"I did not ask for this," you finally got the chance to talk, facing him directly, barely an inch away. "To be plagued by these feelings... being distracted every time you enter the room, hiding those feelings from my sister... I did not ask for any of it."
"If I were to wed your sister, that would bind me to you for eternity," he stated, stepping away from you. "And I would spend my whole marriage dreaming of you, wanting you, longing for you... until the last thread of my honor snaps. Is that the future you want for us? For your sister?"
You shook your head, unable to say anything.
"Then I shall not go forward with this courtship," he declared, his eyes burning into your skin. "If that is what you wish."
You slightly shook your head—not out of disagreement, but as a signal to yourself to stop the urge to melt into him, a dizzying feeling taking over you.
"It is very much what I wish, my lord," you admitted in a whisper. "I could not bear it..."
He stepped closer again, now breathing your air. "What could you not bear?"
Your fingers grazed his and it felt like a fire ignited inside you.
"I could not," you whispered into his ear, fingers tapping gently against his thick arms. "I could not bear the sight of you with her."
Jungkook leaned into your touch, his eyes closing from the overwhelming urge to embrace your whole body.
"Yn..." he softly breathed into your ear. "All I find myself thinking about—all I find myself being able to breathe for—is you. Do you think I want to be in this position? Contending with these thoughts of wanting to be nowhere except with you. Wanting to run away with you. Acting on the most impure, forbidden desires, no matter... how much I must remind myself I am a gentleman and you are a lady."
Your breath hitched, and you felt a sensation between your legs, pressing them together. He continued, "It is maddening how much you consume my every being."
You grazed your hand further down his arms, eyes locked and bodies almost pressing against each other; if anyone were to catch you, it would be scandalous.
"No," you protested in a whisper. "It is you— you who has thrown my world off its axis, you who has made me question my sanity, you who consumes my every thought, so do not dare to blame me... do not blame me."
Your lips brushed against each other, his breath hitting your lips and your breath hitting his, before they finally collided and became one in a passionate kiss. His hands wandered down to your defined waist, grabbing onto you as if you would fly away.
Your hearts were racing; he cupped your face with one hand and fiddled with your dress with the other; you melted into one.
"Tell me you want this," Jungkook insisted in a breathy, aroused voice.
"I want this, my lord," you purred against him, before gently biting into his lower lip. "Teach me everything you know."
Jungkook had no self-control in that moment, feeling like an animal in the wilderness.
He loosened the ties of your dress with an urgent hand, and you felt the cool air caress your skin as the fabric fell open. Your breasts, heavy and full, spilled out of the dress, begging for his attention. Jungkook's eyes locked onto them, his pupils dilated with desire.
His hands wandered down to your hips, gripping the curve of your bottom through the thin fabric of your undergarment. Your skin prickled with goosebumps as he pulled you closer, his mouth still devouring yours. You could feel the heat emanating from him, the tension in his body a testament to the passion that burned between you.
"Are you certain?" he asked once again, his hands working to remove your undergarments.
You simply nodded, too dizzy and aroused to form a sentence.
Your hands wandered over his shirt, playing with the buttons before tugging on it, urging him to take it off, which he did, revealing his strong arms and chest. You kept your hands glued to them while he took off your bodice, revealing your full breasts to him.
Lifting you up and sitting you down on his desk, he immediately massaged your breasts and took one in his mouth, licking and sucking on it, making you moan in pleasure. "I have dreamt of this very moment for so long, Yn."
You ‘hmm’ed in response, grinding your hips against his in search of friction. You felt a big bulge in his pants, moving your own up and down on it, resulting in quiet groans from Jungkook.
"I..." you tried your best to formulate a thought. "I am so... sticky between my legs, my lord; is that normal?"
Jungkook chuckled amidst his arousal, leaning in to plant a short kiss on your lips. "Yes, my love; that is quite a good sign. Do not worry."
You felt comfortable with him; you admitted, "I have the same feeling quite often when I think of you," without realizing the implications.
Jungkook threw his head back in desire, unable to contain his urges to take you right there.
He took your hand in his and led it to his pants.
"Feel it," he urged, his voice simmering with lust as you began to grab his hardness and gently rubbing it. "That is what you do to me, Yn."
You tugged at his pants, and he quickly took them off, first revealing his drawers, which he removed as well.
He could not waste any more time.
As he revealed his large penis, you gasped.
"Do not be afraid, my love," he assured. "I will be very gentle.”
You were seated on the desk, and he was standing before you, his naked parts touching, with gasps and moans filling the entire room.
He positioned himself in front of you, looking into your eyes to ensure you were ready, only to be met with your awaiting gaze.
"What are you going to do now?" you hesitantly asked, hands on his bare arms.
His hands were placed lovingly on your soft waist, soothing you to ensure you were comfortable. "I will enter you now."
You nodded, not fully understanding the idea.
You blamed the mamas who were too ashamed to speak of essential things like that one.
Slowly entering the tip inside you, you gasped from the pain. "It hurts, my lord."
Jungkook stopped for a moment to cup your face, planting a kiss on your lips. "It will take time, but soon enough, you shall find pleasure in it, I promise."
You gazed at him, immediately believing his words, but wondering, "Does it hurt you as well?"
Jungkook laughed at that, slowly starting to thrust gently into you. "No, not at all. It is a very pleasant feeling for me."
His words came out as grunts, which you found incredibly attractive.
"Well, that is certainly unfair," you pouted, but gradually adjusted to the new feeling.
Jungkook agreed with you, saying, "I know," while chuckling.
As you began to get used to his thrusts, you leaned in even closer, urging him to fully enter you and thrust harder.
"You are simply the most beautiful woman I have laid eyes upon," he praised with hushed grunts, to which you cooed.
The fact that your families were outside the four walls of his office, peacefully sleeping, was something long forgotten by both of you, alongside the idea that he was the man who was supposed to be courting your sister.
You chose to forget about the one thing that was printed in your mind for the past months, even if only for a few minutes.
His thrusts began to become stronger, eliciting seductive sounds from both of you. His strategy to make less noise was kissing you almost the entire time.
His big hands roamed your entire body, and your legs wrapped around his hips; you were surprised at your ease—being with him felt not only beautiful but also effortless.
After a few final thrusts, his hips began to stutter, and a foreign sensation started to form in your stomach, causing you to look at him with a helpless expression, to which he answered, "I know, I know, my love; just allow it to happen."
You hesitantly let go, your head tilting back as you felt yourself reach a pinnacle—a feeling of pure bliss.
Jungkook could barely speak understandably, closing his eyes as he savored the last few thrusts before he reached his orgasm, pulling out and coming on a piece of cloth before he could release inside you.
"You did beautifully," he smiled and kissed your forehead lovingly.
You simply smiled back, the shame slowly returning as you put on your dress again.
He engulfed you in a gentle embrace before whispering into your ear, "Go rest now, my love; we shall see what we do tomorrow. Do not worry about anything; I will take care of it. That is a promise."
Somehow, you did not feel comforted by his words, but you reluctantly obliged, ignoring the slight pain in your legs as you walked through the halls of the mansion back to the room you had to temporarily share with your sister, who was already asleep.
You could not sleep that night, too consumed by wondering how and when you became that bad of a person.
___
The following day, you avoided Jungkook as much as you could. You felt ashamed, dirty; you felt like a bad person.
Your uncommonly quiet behavior did not go unnoticed by your mother and your sister; they kept pestering you about it.
But you did not know what to say to them.
Throughout the entire game of pall-mall, you acted out of the ordinary, not playing as well as you normally could.
Nadia and you were playing with Jungkook and four of his siblings, who were all much better players than the two of you.
"It seems you have forgotten the game, sister," Nadia giggled, watching you struggle with the mallet.
You kicked the ball hard in the wrong direction and almost tripped over; if it had not been for the strong hand that held your waist up.
"Be careful," the viscount’s deep voice rang in your ears.
Although you could stand on your own, he continued to hold onto your waist, his lips almost touching your ear. He forgot his surroundings, and so did you, as you locked eyes and shut out everything that was not each other.
It was a sight of pure chemistry, pure love; a blind man could see the feelings sparking between the two of you.
Visions of the prior night swirled in your mind as you leaned into his muscular body, completely in tune with him even in sheer silence.
Until Yoona interrupted you two with a cough, causing you to separate as quickly as possible from each other with more than embarrassed faces.
Jungkook’s siblings awkwardly laughed, and Nadia’s eyes, which you were avoiding, were boring into you penetratingly.
After the game, you went back to your rooms to prepare for lunch.
Strategically dodging your sister as much as possible, you pretended like nothing had happened between the viscount and you, while your insides brewed with fire.
But Nadia was the confrontational type.
"I see the way you look at each other, Yn," she admitted to you, hurt evident in her voice. "I have seen it for a long time, but I thought... you hated him. Had I known you did not, I would have ended the courtship."
"Nini..." you whispered. "I did not want to hurt you. I do not know how I could have been so selfish. You do not know how much I hate myself right now. I did not tell you because I was ashamed of myself... I did not want you to think that I purposely wanted to steal the man you love."
"I am not in love with him!" Nadia exclaimed in response, "I love you! You are my sister, Yn. If you would have told me from the beginning, I would not have been angry with you."
"I am so deeply sorry, Nadia," your face was a tearful mess at that point. "I did not know what to do; I thought... I was sure this would be just a passing infatuation, but... please forgive me, sister."
Your sister’s gentle hands found their way to your tear-stained cheeks. "I understand..."
"Please, I beg of you, do not let this ruin our sisterhood," you sounded pathetic, but you did not care.
You loved a man you were not supposed to love; you did things you were never supposed to do.
"You are my little sister, Yn," even in anger, her voice was soft and assuring. "You always will be... but do give me time to process this."
You nodded, immediately pulling her into a warm, strong embrace, whispering "I love you" to her.
___
You traveled back to London in complete silence, your sister still unsure how to talk to you and your mother, disappointed in the lack of proposals, but still happy with the time spent together.
For a couple of weeks, you did not hear anything from the viscount or his family. You tried to distract yourself with books and art, but nothing filled the emptiness in your heart.
You knew you gave the viscount the impression that you did not wish to speak with him, but you longed to hear or read his words.
One day, your mother entered your room with a pensive look. "Mama, what is it?"
"Yn... I have news, very important ones," she sat down at the edge of your spacious bed and took your hand in hers. "The viscount... he asked for your hand this morning. Your Baba approves, and Nadia does too, my love."
Your heart jumped outside your body for a moment, completely in shock.
You were happy, but you were not at the same time; perhaps the viscount only proposed because he was the gentleman he claimed to be and was merely fulfilling his duty?
"The viscount does not love me, Mama; I know it..." you sniveled, sadness washing over you. "He is simply fulfilling his duties because we..."
Your mother cut you off with an understanding look.
"Yn..." she spoke softly. "It is well; you do not need to tell me what happened between you and the viscount."
You sent a grateful gaze at her.
She always knew the right words to say when you were in distress.
"But, my dear," your mother expressed in an almost hesitant tone. "Whether the viscount wishes to marry you out of duty or out of love... I believe we should accept his proposal."
You were not angry at her idea because you wanted to marry him more than anything else in the world, but you feared he felt forced into proposing.
It was as if your heart had declared war on your mind.
Reluctantly, you nodded.
"I understand," you softly whispered. "Tell Baba to accept his proposal, but I wish to speak with the viscount beforehand."
Immediately after what you said, your mother ordered the maid to send an invitation for tea to the Jeon house.
___
The next day, Jungkook arrived with his mother by his side and an expensive bouquet of flowers in his hand.
"These are for you," he handed them to you, smiling shyly.
You silently thanked him, feeling the awkwardness brew; thankfully, your mother took the viscountess aside and left you and Jungkook enough room for a private conversation.
"I have not heard back about the proposal yet," Jungkook carefully started.
You nodded. "I have my Mama’s and Baba’s approval... Nadia’s too."
Jungkook watched you with attentive eyes, trying to gather what was holding you back from taking him as your husband.
"But I am afraid you are only proposing because of what happened at the country house," you confessed to him, looking down at your lap. "I do not want a marriage that is based solely on duties, Jungkook."
Jungkook looked frustrated, shaking his head.
"Listen to me, Yn," he grabbed your chin gently, locking his eyes with yours. "I love you. I have loved you from the moment we raced each other in that park. I have loved you at every dance, on every walk, every time we've been together, and every time we have been apart. You do not have to accept it, embrace it, or even allow it. Knowing you, you probably will not. But you must know it in your heart. You must feel it because I do. I love you."
You looked away for a second, tears of joy and longing filling your eyes.
While you gathered your words, he continued, "I know I am imperfect, but I will humble myself before you because I cannot imagine my life without you, and that is why I wish to marry you."
At that point, your face was tear-stained all over, returning your gaze to him as you smiled delicately.
"I love you, Jungkook, and I will marry you," you declared. "But do not think there will come a day where you do not vex me."
He now wore a big smile on his face, leaning in to engulf your full lips in a gentle kiss.
"Is that a promise, Yn Ln?" he breathed against your lips.

u write really well it’s not even cringe you say things in ways that are natural even when it is a cliche moment, how do you do it?
this just warmed my heart honestly thank u sm💞💞 idk if it’s a rhetorical question or not, but i’m just gonna answer it anyway. i think the most crucial part of writing a story/imagine/etc. is the dialogue, like it needs to sound like how people actually talk, otherwise it’ll just suck so bad imo so, i focus heavily on the dialogue

___
Jungkook and your brother, Zane, were always attached at the hip as you grew up in the same neighborhood. Your house was across from the Jeons' house, and ever since you could remember, you had a crush on Jungkook. Jungkook, the boy who stole your heart the moment he came over to play soccer with your brother and accidentally kicked the ball against your head at the tender age of 10, then apologized with a warm hug. You were eight when that happened, but you knew everything. You knew you wanted to marry that boy, and you knew what you felt was real. What you did not know was that the same boy would steal your heart years later and take it with him to Singapore, leaving you stranded.
Your love story started when you began attending college, the same one that Jungkook attended; surprisingly, it wasn’t the same as Zane’s. To Jungkook, that meant he could make a move on you without the awkwardness of your brother and your parents around. After years of waiting for the right time, Jungkook took the chance when Zane told him you were unsure about where to apply to major in psychology. Of course, he recommended that you apply to his school, which, thankfully, had an amazing psychology program. You took his advice and started attending the same university.
Jungkook became your bodyguard, even though he was a computer science major in his junior year, guiding you everywhere and protecting you from any harm, basically never leaving your side. At first, he claimed it was an oath to protect his buddy’s little sister, but at one point, he finally gathered the courage to profess his love for you and asked you out; of course, you agreed, and that’s where your love story began. That’s where a year filled with love, princess treatment, and pampering started. Your relationship remained strong even after he graduated; you continued going on dates, making time for each other daily, and being completely and utterly in love.
Until he received an offer to become a CFO of a large Microsoft company in Singapore, he accepted the offer despite your objections.
___
(a year and a half ago)
“Jungkook, baby, I’m here!” you shouted as you entered his upscale apartment with your spare key, which he had given you the moment he bought the apartment. “Sorry, I’m a little early; I was bored and by myself.”
Jungkook was taking a shower, smiling as his heart warmed at the sound of your voice. “That’s okay, baby. Come join me.”
“No, I already showered before I came here, but you enjoy!” you exclaimed with a giggle, looking for something to occupy yourself until he got out of the shower.
His bedroom was spacious and very neat; Jungkook was a clean person, a quality you cherished about him a lot.
You were bored, trying to find something to entertain yourself with until he got out of the shower when you found something that made your heart race.
On the nightstand, under a book he was currently reading, were two plane tickets. You quickly grabbed one and thoroughly read what was written on it.
* Name: Jungkook Jeon

January 15 was just three weeks away. Jungkook hadn’t said a word about his trip to you. He mentioned the business opportunity he received in Singapore once, but you quickly shut down any further talk about it, completely against the idea of him leaving. He hadn’t talked about it since.
Your heart stopped for a millisecond, shock taking over your body. With shaky hands, you quickly grabbed the other ticket; it was the same flight but for a different passenger.
Your name was written on it.
Just as you tried to compose yourself, you heard a click from the bathroom door; Jungkook had finished his shower. You quickly put the tickets back where you found them. He entered the bedroom with a big smile, a towel hugging his lower body, strong arms and defined abs on display.
“Hey, gorgeous,” he leaned over your frozen body and planted a kiss on your lips before noticing the tenseness in your posture. “Hey…what’s wrong, my angel?”
“What’s wrong?” You let out a humorless laugh. “What’s wrong??”
Jungkook stood in front of you, confused and nervous, still half-naked in just a towel.
You grabbed the tickets and faced him. The color drained from his face.
“Baby, I was gonna tell you about it,” he tried to explain, but your harsh expression didn’t soften.
“When? The day you’re supposed to leave?” you said sarcastically. “Oh wait, I’m sorry, the day we are supposed to leave?”
“Yn…” the voice you usually loved suddenly angered you.
“No! Just no! How could you do that?! I told you, I don’t want this!!” Angry tears started forming in your eyes. “You can’t just make a huge decision like this without telling me!”
“I know it wasn’t a good move, baby, but this is a huge opportunity for me; you have to understand,” he tried to touch your waist, but you pushed his hands away.
“You’re joking, right?” you exclaimed, your hand in your hair as you chaotically walked around with the plane tickets in your hand before stopping. “It’s not like I don’t understand; I do! But I don’t understand how you can just decide something so big for both of us and assume I’m going to go along with it!!”
The tension between you and him could be cut with a knife, your words throwing flames of anger at him.
“Yn, if you would just listen to me for a second,” Jungkook’s voice was steady, but there was a hint of desperation. “I want you to come with me; you can continue your studies there, and we’ll get married. We can come back for every holiday and every vacation I get; it’s gonna be good. We’ll be fine.”
“And you haven’t once stopped to think about what I want? If I want to leave everything behind and move with you to Singapore, only to come back on HOLIDAYS?? Jungkook, my family is here; damn it, your whole family is here. Did you not think this through?” you yelled at him, pushing your fingers against his chest. “And what’s wrong with your current job? It pays well; it’s here! There’s nothing wrong with it.”
“I just graduated from college last year! Do you know how often I could get an opportunity like this? Probably never, and let’s be honest, nobody’s getting any younger, so I’m going to take this job!” he exclaimed, but then his voice softened again. “I can provide for us with this position, Yn; I’m going to be a millionaire my first year. This is what I dreamed of ever since I started college: to get a good job and be set for life, not just for myself, but for my future wife as well, for you.”
“Well, I guess your future wife’s a very lucky woman then, but I’m sorry, Jungkook,” you took a deep breath, tears still brimming in your eyes. “It’s not going to be me.”
Jungkook got on his knees, his head touching your leg as he begged. “Don’t say that, Yn, please don’t.”
“I’m sorry; I just cannot do this. Not right now.” You left the bedroom hastily, Jungkook immediately following you, grabbing your arm. “Let me go, please.”
“No! I’m not going to let you go!” he snapped. “You can’t just give up on us this easily, Yn. We have one fight, and you’re ready to leave? What the fuck!?”
“I’m sorry; I don’t even think this is a fight! This is you disrespecting me, my freedom, my opinion, and stepping all over my life like it’s yours to control!” you argued, cheeks flushed from overwhelming anger. “I am not your property! You can’t just control things in my life like you’re in charge of it, okay?! I won’t go to Singapore with you. Goodbye.”
As you moved to the door, he stepped in front of you, his body towering over yours. “You didn’t even think about it, Yn. Singapore is a great place; if you transfer to a school there, you’ll still get a very good education. The quality of life is amazing; the house I bought for us is huge. You’ll have enough space for yourself, and there’s even a library, baby; you’ve always wanted a library in your house. I found you a school with an amazing psychology program near our house and my work; you don’t need to think about money at all; I’ll pay for everything. I’ll get you whatever you want, baby; just come with me.”
“Our house??” You asked in disbelief. “Did you just completely lose it? You didn’t ask me if I want to come with you, and you already bought me a ticket and a house?”
It was evident that Jungkook’s patience was wearing thin as he jabbed his cheek with his tongue. “I’m sorry that I want to move forward with our relationship, Yn. I thought we talked about this: we want to get married, get a house together… have kids. What’s suddenly so wrong with that?”
“You’re right; we did talk about these things, but for later and for here! After I graduate, not when you suddenly decide you’re ready, Jungkook,” you explained, your voice a little less harsh than before. “A relationship means working together as a team. It doesn’t mean you get to make life-altering decisions behind my back.”
“So, what does this mean now?” he inquired, his heart pumping with fear.
“I don’t know; I don’t know,” you fidgeted with your hair intensely, eyes shut, clearly unsure of how to proceed. “I just really don’t want to see you right now.”
And that was the last time you saw Jungkook. You didn’t attend the farewell party your brother threw for him, nor did you say goodbye on the day he left. You successfully fought all the urges to reply to his messages or call him back, which led to an empty feeling in your heart.
You were not ready to forgive him.
At one point, you unfollowed him on all social media, muted his number, and refused to look at the pictures and messages he sent you from Singapore; you simply couldn’t.
Deciding to focus solely on college, a little over a year after Jungkook left, you graduated with honors. During the time you learned to navigate life without the love of it, you also learned to be happy within it. You cut off any thread that led you back to the feelings you had for Jungkook.
Eventually, you started living without the aching emptiness in your heart again, yet there was always something missing. You always feared you knew what – or who – it was.
___
You didn’t really know how to describe your current state.
Now 23, you had graduated college, had a steady job, and were in a relationship that was going well. From the outside, it seemed your life was perfect; there was nothing more you could possibly wish for.
You were content with where you were, but there was always something missing. Something indescribable that you subconsciously searched for.
Work was your way of distracting yourself from feeling like that, avoiding confronting your feelings at all costs, which was ironic, considering you studied psychology.
You were working on a report on your day off when Eric, your boyfriend of eight months, called your phone. You couldn’t help but sigh, yet you picked up reluctantly. “Hey.”
“Hi, baby! How is my superstar doing today?” Eric’s cheery voice spoke. “I miss you, and I thought since it’s your day off, we could go get bagels and coffee. I’ll pick you right up!”
Bagels and coffee... you were sick of getting bagels and coffee with Eric. You couldn’t remember the last time he planned something new or exciting for you.
“I’m sorry, Eric, I can’t,” you said in a distant voice. “I’m working on a report, and I have to finish this one... but we could do this another time, right? I mean, there’s always bagels and coffee.”
Eric felt uneasy with the idea that you felt so comfortable not seeing him for weeks and not even checking up on him; he was always the one to call you. If it were up to you, he wouldn’t know where you were half the time.
“Everything okay, babe?” Eric asked. “You want me to come over, cook you something? Give you a massage? Help you with your research?”
‘No, god, no,’ a voice in your subconscious mind said.
“No, it’s fine,” you reassured him, still focusing on the MacBook in front of you instead of your boyfriend. “We’ll just see each other sometime this week, alright? I’ll let you know when I’m free.”
This conversation summed up your relationship with Eric.
He was a sweet, respectful guy who worshipped the ground you walked on, seemingly always a step ahead of you in the relationship. He was already talking about your future together while you were unsure of spending a full weekend with him alone.
It freaked you out. You had only been in one relationship before, but with Jungkook, everything seemed to fall into place: both completely and utterly in love with each other, (almost) always on the same page, never wanting to leave each other’s sides, no subconscious voices in your mind or feelings in your gut telling you something was wrong; just pure excitement and joy.
You told yourself it was you growing up, becoming a ‘real adult,’ but the more you told yourself that, the more you recognized it was a lie.
At least your relationship with Eric gave you one thing you were looking for: peace.
___
Jungkook was back in town after exactly one year and seven months.
It was a small town; people talked and gossiped about everything and everyone, but that’s not how you should have found out about it, given that your brother was the one who picked him up from the airport.
It irritated you that your brother thought you were too fragile to let you know that his best friend, your ex, was coming back to town.
He didn’t know exactly what happened between you and Jungkook; neither of you went into the details of your breakup. He only knew how much love there was between you and that you weren’t willing to talk about Jungkook or hear his name during the initial months after the breakup.
He assumed it was a bad one.
You decided to call him just to see if he would mention anything about Jungkook being back.
“Hey, sis, how’s it going?” your brother answered after a few rings.
“Hi, Zane,” you bit back any snappiness. “I’m doing well. Where are you?”
He hesitated for a few moments, then you heard his footsteps, obviously walking away from whatever scene he was in before. “Just out with some friends…”
You loved how much of a bad liar your brother was.
“Who?” your curiosity was palpable.
“Damn, why do you care so much?”
“I don’t know, Zane; maybe because I heard from some girls at the nail salon that you picked Jungkook up from the airport two days ago,” you said, dumbfounded. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
He sighed into the phone, tsk’ing lightly. “I’m sorry, Yn; I just didn’t know how you were gonna react, you know?”
“Oh my god, I am not a baby! I can handle it,” you declared. “So what if Jungkook is back? What am I gonna do now? It literally changes nothing about my life. You could throw him a party and invite Bella Hadid for all I care.”
Truthfully, Jungkook being back in your orbit did mean something to you. Your first love was back where he belonged after long months without this place seeing him; it almost made you emotional to imagine him back in his childhood home, back in his first apartment after graduation, and back with your brother playing basketball in the yard and…
“Actually, I am,” your brother hesitantly revealed.
“You’re throwing him a party and inviting Bella Hadid??” You only realized how ridiculous that sentence sounded after it came out of your mouth.
“No, just throwing him a welcome back party,” he chuckled a little. “You can come if you want! But only if you want; like, don’t feel pressured to be there. If you don’t come, I’ll totally understand–”
“I’ll be there!” you interrupted your brother’s rambling, who was nervous because he knew what you turned into when you were mad. “And Eric will also be there.”
“Eric?” Confused, he asked, as if he didn’t remember where he heard that name before. “Oh, yeah, your new boyfriend. Yeah, sure, take him with you.”
Even though Zane truly felt it wasn’t a good idea for your current boyfriend and Jungkook to be in the same room, he was inclined to agree with you.
You were going to attend Jungkook’s welcome back party with Eric, and you were going to look absolutely beautiful.
---
After visiting every boutique in New York with your girlfriends to find the perfect dress for your brother’s party, you finally found it and called Eric last minute to inform him that he would be your plus one for this party.
The dress you picked out was a gorgeous red number with a flattering off-the-shoulder cut and delicate lace accents, striking the perfect balance between sexy and classy, accentuating your curvy silhouette; you aimed to impress.
Eric wasn’t aware that Jungkook was your ex; he only knew that the party was for your brother’s best friend who had returned from overseas. He didn’t care whose party it was; he just thanked God that you finally called him and let him see you.
Your girlfriends knew you were indulging in self-destructive behavior by going to a party solely for your ex-boyfriend after not seeing him for almost two years, but they also knew nothing they would say could stop you, and they seemed to think you deserved closure. All of them suspected that you were still hung up on Jungkook, but none dared to speak of it until you decided to, which you hadn’t.
As you arrived at the bar your brother rented, hand in hand with Eric, his friend Marcus was the first to greet you with a big grin, evidently already too drunk for his own good.
“Hey, Marcus, you know where Zane is?” you asked, only to receive a drunkenly slurred ‘nah, but probably in the back somewhere’ as an answer.
While you walked into the place, you couldn’t help but silently praise your brother’s dedication; the venue looked good, nicely decorated with a huge sign that said ‘Welcome Back, Jungkook’ on it.
The crowd was enormous, making you almost trip in your high heels, but thankfully, you caught yourself on Eric’s arm.
“This will be the first time I meet your brother. I can’t wait!” Somehow through the loud noise, Eric still managed to be audible. “It’s about time, you know? I mean, you’ve met my entire family; I was wondering when I’d get to meet yours.”
“Yeah,” you sent a smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes his way and walked forward, until you finally saw a glimpse of Zane, seemingly engaged in an animated conversation. “He’s there!”
With gathered confidence, you gripped Eric’s hand and walked over to Zane; even though your eyes didn’t see him yet, you knew that if Zane was there, Jungkook couldn’t be far.
“Zane!” you called out to grab his attention, but the music was too loud and he was too engaged in the conversation to hear you, so you approached him closer, gripping Eric’s hand like your life depended on it.
When Zane finally saw you, he waved at you, excitedly signaling you to come closer, so you did. But there was no sign of Jungkook yet.
“Yn!!” he shouted, having indulged in some drinks himself. “Hey! Come here; let me get you a drink.”
He didn’t even spare Eric a glance before turning around, but thankfully, you gave him a subtle nod in Eric’s direction, which he immediately picked up. “Hey, man, I’m Zane, Yn’s brother. You must be Eric. How’re you doing?”
Zane gave him a friendly smile and offered him a hand, which Eric immediately shook. He was giddy to say the least, just as he opened his mouth, a deep voice from behind you interrupted him before he could speak. “Ey, Zane, there’s no fucking pizza left! It’s my damn party, and I didn’t even get a piece of pizza!”
Jungkook’s playful voice halted you for an instant. Your back was still turned to him, but as he approached the three of you, he slowly recognized who stood in front of him.
Now, he stood next to your brother, paralyzed for a second before he let his eyes wander down your face, then your entire body; a shimmer of desire and longing that could not be overlooked formed. He studied your familiar body, every curve that was once only his to touch, to explore, and the eyes that looked back at him with an innocence he could not resist.
His attention flickered to Eric for a second before fully turning to you again, with darkened eyes and flared nostrils; you were sure from his expression that Zane told him you were in a relationship now.
Your eyes wandered just the same, spotting new tattoos and much bigger biceps; he looked disgustingly handsome. He was bigger, and his presence seemed even more powerful than before he left. His hair had grown a few inches, but what always stayed the same were his eyes that never stopped looking at you the same way.
There was an awkward silence that even Eric detected before Jungkook spoke up. “Yn… it’s good to see you. You look beautiful, of course.”
There was something deep about the way he said those simple words; it was evident there was a lot more behind them.
And there was so much you wanted to say too, but all you could muster was, “It’s nice to see you too.”
You felt Eric’s and Zane’s gazes swinging from you to Jungkook while you two were lost in each other’s eyes; Eric was confused, trying to figure out what was going on, while Zane was amused yet cautious of what would happen if he left you two to it, with your boyfriend by your side.
“So, I think we should all get something to drink,” Zane was the one to break the silence before patting Jungkook on the shoulder. “C’mon, man; I’ll get you that pizza.”
They moved along, leaving you and Eric alone for a moment.
“So, do you know that Jungkook guy?” Eric carefully asked, not wanting to push you.
“He’s my brother’s best friend; of course I know him,” you answered a little snappily. “And he used to be our neighbor.”
Eric simply nodded, his grip on your shoulder tightening a bit before you slipped out of it, saying, “I’m gonna get a drink too.”
But you actually left to catch a breath of fresh air on the balcony. You felt someone following you, but convinced yourself it was paranoia until you felt the warmth of a larger body lurking behind you. You turned around and saw Jungkook looking at you with an indescribable expression.
“Please tell me that’s your new gay best friend,” he started, now standing next to you, hands on the balcony railing.
“What?” You turned your face to look at him, a sigh escaping your lips.
You were pretending that his presence didn’t affect you, pretending that you were even slightly annoyed he followed you, but you knew you wanted him to and you were glad he did.
“The guy you came with,” he clarified, a waiting gleam in his eyes.
You knew he knew that Eric was your boyfriend; he was just acting oblivious to get you to feel bad and to start a conversation about how Eric wasn’t ‘the right one for you.’ He might have been gone for over a year, but you knew Jungkook. He was predictable to you.
“No... he’s my boyfriend,” you clarified with a huff. “And what’s it to you anyway?”
He put his hand up in defense, a small smirk forming on his pretty face. “Nothing, nothing... just didn’t think he was your type is all.”
Despite not having figured out your feelings for Eric, Jungkook’s words pushed you to defend him.
“What do you mean ‘not my type’? Eric is a sweet guy, the sweetest actually, and any girl would be lucky to be with him,” you asserted, your heart racing. “He is gentle and a good communicator, and he loves me. And he would never do anything behind my back.”
Jungkook’s nostrils slightly flared as you talked about another man; he had always been the possessive one. He noticed how your stance wasn’t firm and the knitted expression on your eyebrows; a sign of uncertainty on your face he knew too well. “He loves you, huh? No doubt about it... do you love him though?”
Your breath hitched, and you felt faint for a second, not knowing how to compose yourself; you didn’t love him, no matter how much you tried. You always found yourself longing for something else... someone else. You didn’t know what to say, so you replied, “He treats me right.”
“I’d hope so...” he started, with an indescribable expression. “At least one person in that ‘relationship’ has to treat you right.”
You knew exactly what he was trying to do: making you overthink your relationship to come to the conclusion you two belonged together. But your half-healed heart refused to bring you to that place.
“What are you trying to accomplish, Jungkook?” you asked, saying his name as if it were venomous. “You left for Singapore almost two years ago; what was I supposed to do? Wait around for you until you remembered you had people who wanted to see you here? People who missed you?”
Now, he wore a spiteful expression, jabbing his cheek with his tongue. “No, you should have picked up my calls, answered my messages, let me know how you were doing. You should have at least let Zane let me know. You blocked me out of your life entirely; we are – we were in love, Yn. That doesn’t just go away overnight.”
You scoffed sarcastically to mask the pressure in your heart, affected by his words. “You think it was easy for me to do that? Guess what, Jungkook! It took a lot longer than ‘overnight’ for me to get over you, and if I had answered your calls and messages, maybe I still wouldn’t be over you!”
At that point, the loud party was a soft background noise for the two of you; you were too indulged in the rising tensions - your raising voices the only thing consuming you. Even during fights, there seemed to be no one else around you - for you.
“I wanted you to come with me! I got you a ticket, remember? The house is designed exactly how you envisioned your dream house,” he started, pain evident in his voice. “Yet, I have to live in it alone while everything reminds me of you.”
Your heart was breaking all over again, the sorrowful reflection in his gaze influencing you more than you wished. Yet, there was a rational part of you that recognized you had to stand your ground, defend yourself. You had good reasons to do what you did.
“Maybe you should have told me that before you bought a ticket for me without consulting me first!” you ranted, reminiscing the shock you felt at finding the tickets. “Or maybe you shouldn’t have taken the job offer and just stayed here like I wanted you to!!”
Jungkook had envisioned multiple scenarios about what would happen when you would see each other again. He thought about it all the time, while he was working, during sleepless nights without you by his side, while showering, working out, or fucking women that meant nothing to him... he knew exactly what you were going to say, if you would be willing to talk to him. And you were, and that made him feel happy despite the arguing because at least you were willing to argue with him, to talk to him.
He knew you, maybe more than anybody else did. He was convinced that the love between you two transcended any boundaries or obstacles.
“I know,” he admitted defeat, his voice velvety. “And I’m so fucking sorry, but please, baby, just give us another chance. I’m staying here for six months straight, and the offer to come with me after still stands.”
You felt conflicted; on one hand, you could not believe his audacity, and on the other, you were satisfied to know that he still wanted you, just like the last time he saw you.
“You can’t be serious!” you snapped. “I’m with Eric, and you can’t just come here and pretend like nothing ever happened.”
Jungkook felt your patience spreading thin and decided to go against his usual instincts to persuade you further. “Alright, I’m sorry. I just need to know one thing.”
“What?”
“Is he fucking you good?” he inquired, a possessive gleam in his eyes.
The question hung in the air like an unanswered prayer for a moment. You stood frozen before him as if you weren’t expecting him to ask that, as if you weren’t sure how to answer it.
And you truly didn’t.
“I don’t know,” came out in a whisper.
The truth was, you hadn’t let Eric that far yet, and you weren’t planning to do it anytime soon. He had an inability to make you wet, and whenever he went any further than touching your waist, you felt a slight sensation of disgust, like you would rather be fighting in a war than let Eric be inside you. You opted for telling him you were celibate, which wasn’t entirely a lie.
“What do you mean you don’t know?” Jungkook was confused, trying to decipher what you were trying to say.
“It means,” you started, slowly regaining your snappiness, “that I don’t know! I’ve never had sex with him.”
It was now Jungkook’s turn to say ‘what?!’ and it suddenly made you very aware that there were crowds of people just inside, Eric being one of them. You were lucky there were so many people blocking the view into the balcony, because if there weren’t, Eric would have found you a long time ago.
Jungkook was evidently happy with the revelation, smiling like an idiot.
“Stop smiling like that!” you hissed, motioning with your hands. “I’m just not ready yet. I told him I’m celibate. It’s none of your business anyway; why am I telling you any of this?”
Jungkook obeyed your wishes and stopped smiling; instead, he burst out laughing, so amused. “So you’ve been dating for eight months, and you still haven’t fucked? Damn, ma... we did it after the first date... and every day after.”
Before you could answer, your brother entered the balcony. When he saw you and Jungkook face to face, deep in a conversation or rather an argument, he gazed between you with an indescribable expression.
“Yn, Eric’s been looking for you everywhere,” Zane informed you with what you called ‘warning eyes’ digging holes into your face as you went back inside, leaving the two best friends alone.
___
The two weeks following the party were filled with work, for you and Jungkook alike. You didn’t run into each other again, but you did decide to unblock him.
You thought it was petty and unnecessary to deny him access to you when you would surely see him during his six-month stay here. You also wanted to see if he would notice and maybe hit you up occasionally; which he did.
Good morning texts and daily ‘how are you’s?’ filled you with an unspoken joy that you felt shouldn’t have been there, but you defended yourself by thinking, ‘I cannot control my feelings.’
Your conversation on the balcony made you think a lot through, specifically your relationship with Eric. You decided it was time to open up to him, giving him a chance to take you out properly, which he had been trying to do for a while.
So, you were getting ready for a romantic night out with Eric, putting on a gorgeous, tiny black dress that accentuated your curves and applying makeup that made you resemble an effortless beauty.
You planned to be honest with him about where you thought the relationship was headed.
---
You met up with Eric at a nice Italian restaurant in the middle of the city.
After a little small talk and finishing your meal, you sat in an awkward silence as he admired you.
You could feel something unusual but brushed it off as your usual paranoia. Eric was always a jolly person who wasn’t afraid to show his love in sometimes very overbearing ways.
“You know, Yn,” he started and suddenly got on one knee. His loving gaze spread pity over your conscience, his position weighing heavily on your chest. “I’ve never felt this way about anybody; you are bright like the stars and beautiful like a flower. I find you in everything around me. You consume my soul, Yn. I... I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?”
He took out a red box and opened it, revealing a small diamond ring. Eric waited a moment for your answer, but you sat frozen; it was too much. With the people around you watching, and Eric’s slowly saddened eyes gauging your reaction, you did not know what to do.
You questioned Eric’s self-awareness more than anything; when had you ever given him the impression that you wanted to marry him? You were sure you had never even given him a reason to think you wanted to be in a relationship with him!
You knew Eric’s lack of self-awareness would present a problem sooner or later, but you just wished it wasn’t in such a public setting, in front of at least twenty people.
Your breath quickened, and your heart tightened. You couldn’t do this anymore.
So, you grabbed your purse, stood up, and left with a hurried, “I’m sorry; I can’t do this,” leaving Eric with a humiliating crowd and a broken heart.
It felt like the right thing to do.
- - -
Once you ran to your car without looking back, you drove away from the scene.
You were so lost in thought that your subconscious acted; you set off in a direction you had not intended to go. You drove in the exact direction of Jungkook's apartment, as if it hadn’t been two years since you were last there, as if you were returning from work and it was your house.
As if your heart, and not your head, had guided you. If you had been thinking clearly at that moment, you would have given yourself a slap and reminded yourself who you were.
But you didn't, because as your grandma used to say, “Love makes a person lose their mind.”
You parked your car next to his luxury car. He still lived in the same apartment where you last fought, where you had countless sleepovers, where you lost your virginity, where you shared secrets, and made love in every corner.
You cursed and loved that apartment at the same time.
With a fog-clouded mind, you entered the complex and took the elevator to the fourth floor. Finally, you knocked on his door, '4B,' a few times before a confused Jungkook opened it.
He stood there in all of his glory, wearing grey sweatpants and an oversized black shirt, looking back at you with a questioning yet yearning gaze. “Yn?”
His voice immediately sent shivers down your spine, and you wanted to live in the eyes that devoured your lightly clothed body. “Can I come in?”
Your voice was smaller and weaker than it had ever been; he could tell there was something wrong but did not ask right away. He simply stepped aside and said, “Of course. Always.”
His eyes ran over the prominent curve of your breasts and your naked legs, begging to be wrapped around his head.
Before he had the chance to ask what was wrong, you threw yourself into his arms and whispered a desperate, “Can you just hold me?” into his ears.
He simply kissed your forehead and carried you to the couch.
You wrapped your exposed thick thighs around his waist and your arms draped around his neck, his hands resting on your hips, holding you as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
You hadn’t felt so safe since he left.
The realization that Jungkook was your safe space suddenly hit you, making you hide your face further in his neck.
He sat on the huge sofa, which led you to sit on his lap, your face still hidden in the hollow of his neck.
His large hand moved from your back to your hip, and you would have loved nothing more than to let yourself melt into his body. You had searched so long for that feeling – the feeling of being back in the arms of the only man you could love.
“What happened?” he asked solicitously, his voice rushing softly in your ears.
You refused to say anything for a few moments, totally unsure of how to explain your situation to him, or if you even wanted to.
Slowly coming out of your hiding place, you looked deep into his eyes; your eyes held a melancholy he noticed immediately. He stroked your goosebump-filled arms and brought his forehead close to yours. The atmosphere was just loving and peaceful.
“Eric proposed to me…” you sighed softly, fingers tangled in his soft black hair.
Jungkook’s eyebrows furrowed. “What?? Did you...” He coughed a bit before continuing, “Did you say yes?”
You sighed even louder. Even though you did not want to discuss it, you knew you had to eventually.
“No,” you answered, trying to maintain eye contact. “I just ran away and drove here.”
It was obvious Jungkook was trying hard to suppress a smile, so he simply wrapped his arms around you comfortingly and gently rocked you back and forth without saying a word.
You were hyper-aware of the fact that the only thing separating your wet pussy from leaving marks on his sweatpants were your thin, almost see-through panties.
You stayed in that position for a while, before leaning in and starting to place wet kisses on his neck, your fingers tightening around his hair.
His breath grew heavier as he held onto the thick flesh of your bare ass, unsure whether to let you go further or stop you.
“Yn...” his tone was uncertain yet aroused. “We really shouldn’t…”
You continued the trail of desperate kisses, unable to resist, with his familiar scent and the feel of his skin against your lips.
You already felt his dick hardening in his boxers as you gently caressed it with your hands, making him groan at the friction.
“Why not?” you asked with a pout, before palming his dick harder while grinding on his thigh. “Don’t you want to fuck me? Do I not make you hard anymore?”
You knew that neither of those things was true; you were just playing dumb to get him to give in to something you wanted, craved desperately. Your body hadn’t been properly touched in nearly two years; you were starting to get needy.
“You’re in a vulnerable state,” he stated in a raspy voice, heavily affected by your behavior. “I don’t want to do something with you that you might regret later.”
You shook your head almost vigorously, gently punching his chest; it was only gentle because your arousal was weakening your body. “No, you don’t get to leave for Singapore for two years and then come back to deny me. If I say I want you, I better get you, okay? I’ve been lonely for almost two years, Kookie; my fingers are starting to cramp from how much I touch myself thinking about it... don’t you dare deny me.”
Despite the urge to chuckle at your approach, your words made him think about you craving him just as much as he craved you; it made him feel validated and less pathetic for thinking about you after all the time and distance.
He was always convinced the love between you two transcended any boundaries or obstacles.
He captured your lips in a passionate kiss, which you reciprocated with whimpers against his familiar lips. There was no way to describe how much you missed this feeling.
Suddenly gripping your hips tighter, he stood up, carrying you to the bedroom like you weighed nothing, your pussy and his clothed dick touching delectably, evoking even more arousal from both of you.
At his bedroom, he gently placed you on the bed, looking down at you with desire-filled eyes. “You sure you want this?”
“Yes!” Your patience was wearing thin. “Just fuck me, Jungkook, and stop talking so much.”
You tugged at his shirt, and he quickly took the hint, stripping it off to reveal well-defined abs and bulging biceps, arms that looked like they could kill someone.
The last time you saw him, he was already muscular and fit, but it was evident that he took his fitness seriously while in Singapore.
You dreamily stared him up and down. “Now, the pants.”
He chuckled at your bossiness but obeyed without hesitation, leaving him in just his boxers.
You were getting impatient, already reaching for your panties to rub your pussy in anticipation, letting out small ‘hmmm’ sounds that drove Jungkook insane.
Now, he was determined to take off your dress, zipping it down hastily and almost ripping it off you if it weren’t for your hands stopping him from ruining a perfectly good dress.
“Baby, you don’t know how much I missed this,” Jungkook breathed out, eyeing you hungrily while you carefully took off your dress.
Once the dress was off, you revealed nothing more than your panties; you decided not to wear a bra because the dress was strapless and it would look silly with one.
Jungkook’s breath hitched, clearly overwhelmed by the sight of your generous breasts. “No bra?”
You shook your head and slowly approached him, roaming your hands all over him and grabbing him by the neck to pull him in for a kiss.
Your chest pressed against his, or more accurately, against his solid stomach because of your height difference; he was acutely aware of your hard nipples.
“Fuck, Yn,” he groaned, his hands roaming your body just the same. “Need to be inside you.”
“Then fuck me,” you urged, tugging at his boxers with hooded eyes and parted lips, desperation and horniness visible. “Just want you to fuck me, Kookie.”
He tilted his head back at your words, muttering a low ‘fuck,’ before positioning himself to enter your pussy. He quickly glanced into your eyes for any uncertainty, and finally, when he didn’t find anything other than an eager, awaiting expression, he entered your tight pussy with a low groan.
Your mouth widened for a second as you tried to adjust to the feel of his dick again, eliciting loud moans of pleasure and slight uneasiness.
He pressed you against the wall for more support, thrusting deeper into you. He watched his dick enter your pussy; it was almost poetic to him how perfectly made for him your pussy felt.
There were no afterthoughts about the situation being wrong, absolutely no overthinking about Eric, who was blowing up your phone while you were getting your back blown by your ex.
It felt right; you and Jungkook knew you were meant to be, and there was nothing that could happen, no one that could come between you. At the end of the day, you were always going to be back in each other’s arms.
“Shit, baby, you’re so fucking wet,” he panted, his lips pressing against your cheeks. “Still so fucking tight for me...”
You let out an aroused purr, already fucked out before even starting. Your hands were gripping his big arms, and your hips were moving towards him, seeking more friction.
“I’ve been dreaming about this moment, baby,” he admitted between low groans, moving in and out skillfully. “You know how many times I fisted my dick thinking about fucking you again?”
“Me too,” you desperately moaned back, bouncing slightly; the sound of slapping skin surrounded the air. “Fuck, Jungkook… love that dick… yes, I fucking love that dick…”
Your barely comprehensible words drove him crazy, gripping your hips and fucking you like you were a fuck toy. “Shit, baby, that pussy’s mine, yeah? Only mine. No one else gets to - fuck - no one else gets to have you like this.”
You nodded, burying your fucked-out face in his broad shoulder, vocalizing the pleasure you felt at every thrust. Your breath tickled his skin, and the warmth of his hands contrasted the coldness of the wall beautifully.
His big dick moved inside of you in a steady rhythm, each thrust making your eyes roll back further.
Your bodies pressed against each other sexually, big breasts spilling out against his strong chest, your hands moving around his back to scratch him harshly, and his grip on your ass and hips becoming almost painful; you were both begging for release.
“Harder, Kookie. Do it harder,” you begged, not caring how desperate you sounded. “That dick feels so fucking good. Oh god, Jungkook.”
He indeed started to fuck you harder, heavy breaths becoming even heavier, lips connecting again and again in sensual kisses. His moans against your lips drove you wild.
The raw intensity of the moment was driving you insane; you felt every inch of his beautiful dick, and he was feeling your pussy entirely, without the almost restrictive feeling of a condom.
“Shit, shit, shit, shit,” he panted with every quickened motion of his dick, his mouth forming an ‘o.’ “Baby, I’m g’na cum. Shit, I’m g’na cum so fucking hard.”
Feeling your high approach as well, you didn’t care about the consequences at all; you planned to go on birth control first thing in the morning, saying, “Cum inside, Jungkook. Please, just fill me up with that cum.”
Your bodies moved together rhythmically, his steady thrusts hitting exactly the right spots as you chased your orgasm. Your eyes locked together and your moans became intertwined.
Low ‘fuck’s and ‘oh god’s were all you heard, as both of you were too deep into the pleasure to formulate real sentences.
With one final thrust and a muttered ‘yes, just like that,’ he found his release, his thick, warm cum deliciously filling you. You closely followed, your back arching and head thrown back, the two of you coming hard.
His broad body momentarily collapsed against yours, both panting hard, still pressed against the wall. He whispered praises and sweet nothings in your ear while trying to regain composure.
“I’m so happy I came here,” you softly kissed him, and he agreed with your words, muttering a ‘me too’ against your lips.
You felt hazy and tired, but you tried to slowly get off Jungkook and get to the bathroom, which you eventually did with his help; he carried you all the way there.
After you finished cleaning yourselves up, you headed straight to the bed. You lay bare on your stomach, still somewhat overstimulated and hazy from the orgasm.
Jungkook gently stroked your backside, muttering things like, “You did so good for me, baby,” and “You don’t know how much I missed this fucking pussy,” before leaning in and biting into your shapely ass playfully, eliciting a gasp from you.
He spread kisses on your ass cheeks and slowly separated them; he stuck his head in between and gave your hole a few licks before gently sucking on the skin of your ass with his skillful tongue.
Your legs started to tremble from pleasure and mild discomfort; Jungkook had eaten you before, but you seldom did that in the bedroom.
The more you thought about it, the more you realized how terrified your brother would be if he knew what you two did.
“Jungkook!” you purred, arching your back for more pressure against his tongue. “Oh fuck… oh my god, oh god.”
Jungkook’s groans and low chuckles sent vibrations through your body, deepening the pleasure and making you seek your high more.
“Fuck, this fat ass is still as good as I remember,” he praised against the sensitive skin, still kneading and spanking it hard. “Wanna stay like this forever.”
He returned to licking and probing your asshole, clearly enjoying your squirming figure. You pushed your ass up, hoping for more friction.
You were practically already fucked out and overwhelmed that you couldn’t answer with more than a simple agreeing moan.
You started grinding your ass against his face, desperately wanting to cum again, enjoying the feel of his tongue against you.
His licks and your grinding quickened, which quickly turned into a series of ‘ah, ah, ah’s as you came undone on his tongue.
When your panting lessened, you turned around, lying on your back in bliss.
You fell asleep in each other’s arms almost immediately.
Jungkook thought this was the nicest way you could have welcomed him back.

couple’s getaway | jjk
Tumblr media
you and jungkook spend the weekend before christmas with taehyung and his girlfriend at his cabin in the mountains, and you start it off with a bet.
rich! jungkook x reader
warnings: anal (minors you know what to do), kookie is rich asf, pda, tae and sasha are v cute, yn showing a hint of her crazy side, jk’s in loooove, christmas, mentions of marriage, pretty short imo, idk what else.
an extension to bend my rules 🫶🏼
__
It was the week before Christmas, and Taehyung had the amazing idea to invite you and Jungkook to his and Sasha’s now-yearly Christmas weekend getaway to his parents’ cabin in the mountains—a way to celebrate Christmas together while still being able to see family on actual Christmas Day.
Of course, you immediately agreed.
Your relationship with Jungkook was still new—almost two months—and it took the entire student body by surprise; finally, Jungkook could proudly say he proved everybody wrong.
The drive to the cabin was a nice bonding experience with the other couple—Taehyung driving, Jungkook sitting in the passenger seat, and you and Sasha in the back, already giddy about the two-day trip.
You very much loved the view of Jungkook’s broad shoulders, keeping your hands on them at all times.
“Sooo, what did you get Jungkook?” Sasha asked in a whisper tone, curiously.
You giggled, remembering the stupid thoughts that went into getting him a present. Your relationship with Jungkook wasn’t transactional at all; he paid for everything, bought you everything you ever wanted, and didn’t expect a thing in return. It was hard to think of a gift to give your rich boyfriend, who could snap his fingers and get whatever it was he wanted.
“I got him a massage gun for after his workouts and a card he can use whenever he wants anything, like a blowie or a home-cooked meal, and I’m not allowed to object to anything,” you explained in an equally quiet voice, excited to reveal your present. “Oh, and I also put in my used panties.”
There was no such thing as TMI in your friendship with Sasha—you knew everything about each other, down to the smallest details.
Sasha giggled mischievously in response. “Oh my god, Yn, that’s niiice. I got Tae a new camera; you know how much he loves photography.”
You let out a loud “awww,” which made Jungkook turn his head to you. The heated argument between Taehyung and Jungkook about who was the greatest NBA player of all time suddenly died down.
“What are you girls whispering about?” he smirked at you, which you reciprocated.
“Nothing, just how excited we are for the weekend,” you leaned in playfully, giving him a chance to capture your lips with his own.
The kiss quickly deepened as Jungkook turned his body entirely to you, both of you moaning softly into the kiss.
“You guys realize we’re here too, right?” Taehyung asked with a chuckle.
You ended the kiss slowly to lean into your seat again, only to be met with a smirking Sasha playfully pushing your leg with her hands.
“It’s alright, Tae; they’re still in that stage of the relationship,” she held onto his shoulders as she talked. “You remember how we were.”
“Were?” Jungkook asked, dumbfounded. “You guys are way worse than us!”
Taehyung and Sasha gasped dramatically in unison as if rehearsed. “Okay, bet. We’re gonna keep score of every PDA action between you and Yn and between Tae and me, and the couple that has the most loses. The losers have to clean the cabin before we leave.”
Taehyung, responsibly focused on driving, let out an agreeing sound to show Sasha he liked her idea.
“Deal!” Jungkook immediately replied, to which you giggled.
_
Finally arriving at the cabin, it was already 7. You all decided to only watch a movie tonight and start the real activities tomorrow.
Jungkook and Taehyung carried all the bags inside, and you took in the surroundings of the cabin; it was beyond beautiful. It was very secluded, no neighbors—only nature around.
“The bedrooms are upstairs; there are only two bathrooms—one downstairs and one upstairs,” Taehyung revealed, leading all of you into the house. “We’re gonna let the guests choose what bedroom they’d like to stay in, right, baby?”
Sasha nodded and smiled at the two of you.
“How very generous of you,” you thanked them as Jungkook took your hand, guiding you upstairs, your bags in the other.
You explored the upstairs rooms and decided to stay in the one that had the best view of the mountains—something you’d like to wake up to every day. The bed was big and comfortable, and the closet was, thankfully, big enough for the unnecessarily huge amount of clothes you brought with you.
“This is just wonderful,” you expressed to Jungkook, who immediately unpacked and undressed while you picked out the pajamas you were going to wear.
Jungkook opted for grey sweatpants and a white wifebeater (yummy), and you chose a baby blue satin pant set that you recently purchased while on a shopping spree with Jungkook. It did wonders for your figure.
“I’m glad you like it here,” he smiled lovingly. “Just want you to enjoy yourself this weekend—no college stress or nothing, okay?”
His strong arms engulfed you in a strong embrace; you immediately melted into him.
“Okay,” you quickly kissed his neck, your arms still firmly holding onto his bigger ones. “But we have to beat them at the PDA game. If you even think about touching me in front of them, I will break your fingers, got it?”
“Hey!” Jungkook called out while you exited the room, following behind you. “What if you can’t keep your hands off me? That’s also a possibility!”
“Pfff,” you mocked, walking down the stairs. “Likely story.”
Downstairs, you were met with the smell of warm apple cider. The warmth of the house in contrast to the freezing cold weather outside solidified the Christmas experience.
“We should watch Love Actually!” Sasha enthusiastically suggested.
“Oh my god, yes!” you immediately agreed with her, reciprocating the enthusiasm.
The two men looked at each other with unimpressed glances, both knowing the girls were going to end up getting what they wanted anyway, so there was no need to protest.
“Why do you look like that?” you challenged Jungkook when you noticed the exchanged glances. “You love a good rom-com; we always watch rom-coms when I come over!”
“Yeah, but it’s not like we’re actually watching them,” Jungkook implied with a sly smile, slowly groping your waist and kissing you.
Taehyung and Sasha watched the scene with amusement.
“Aaand,” Sasha suddenly moved to the fridge with a pen in her hand, where she had hung a piece of paper that said “Tae&Sasha vs. JK&YN.” “That goes on the list.”
You feigned anger at Jungkook, scolding him. “What did I just tell you about touching me?”
“Sorry, baby; you’re just so grabbable,” he cooed.
You all sat down on the spacious couch facing the TV as Taehyung put on Love Actually.
“Not a real word,” you grumpily replied.
“It is now.”
_
After the movie was finished, Taehyung had the idea to open presents, so everybody went and got their presents.
You got a present for Jungkook and one for Sasha; Sasha got one for you and one for Taehyung; Taehyung got one for Sasha and one for Jungkook; and Jungkook got one for Taehyung and one for you.
“Okay, during gift exchanges, we are allowed to kiss as much as we want without it getting put on the list, alright?” Sasha put out the rule, which everybody agreed with.
“Okay,” Taehyung took a sip of his wine. “Who wants to start?”
“Ladies first,” you replied, eating popcorn. “I think Sasha and I should give each other our presents first.”
“I’ll go first,” Sasha couldn’t contain her excitement as she handed you the stylish pink gift bag.
You took it with a cute “thank youuu” and started unwrapping the gifts; there were three wrapped gifts of different sizes. You decided to open the smallest one first and go from there.
All three of them watched with curiosity as you carefully unwrapped it, revealing a Fenty Beauty contour stick. “Oh my god! I was just about to buy that for myself, S; thank you so much.”
“I know! You ran out of yours,” she grinned like a baby, wiggling with joy. “Go on, go on.”
The second gift was a gua sha, something you had mentioned you wanted to buy before but never did. You felt absolutely loved, knowing you had a friend who remembered those things about you.
The big present was a Vogue journal, which you took the time to admire; it was the most beautiful thing ever. “Oh my god, Sasha! I love you; come here.”
You hugged for a while, really expressing your gratitude.
“Is that going on the list?” Tae asked humorously when you finally pulled away from the hug.
“Okay, now it’s time for your present,” you pulled out the box of presents.
Sasha was all about clothes and fashion, so it was always easy to buy her presents. You got her sunglasses, a chic Ralph Lauren sweater, a personalized gold necklace that said “Sasha Fierce,” and a scented candle. She flipped out and went in for another hug.
“I have the best best friend ever!” she yelled out. “Now, Jungkook and Yn, you give each other your gifts. I’m very curious.”
Jungkook clapped his hands together as if he were waiting for this very moment a long time, and you sheepishly handed your present to him.
With each gift he opened, his smirk grew bigger in appreciation. He held the massage gun with a grin. “We can use that for other stuff too, you know?”
You giggled like a schoolgirl in love, forgetting that your other friends were there for a moment, cuddling up to his side comfortably. “Read the card.”
“Jungkook’s wish card,” he started reading. “Yn Ln has to do whatever Jungkook Jeon wishes as soon as he pulls out this card; she is not allowed to object. Valid until next Christmas. It’s even laminated; wow.”
Everybody started laughing, admiring your creativity. Jungkook kissed you passionately with a “thank you, my baby; you know me so well,” whispered in your ear, followed by a “I’ll put those panties to good use,” that sent shivers down your spine as you leaned in for another kiss.
“Okay, Yn, now you open Jungkook’s gift!” Sasha ordered, so you did.
Jungkook’s present was a huge box that you carefully put in your lap and opened. In it lay a big diamond-encrusted Birkin bag.
You and Sasha gasped in disbelief, lost for words.
“Hope you like it, baby,” Jungkook stated with a brush on your arm when you sat in silence for a few seconds.
“I love it!” you shouted, jumping on him and kissing him all over his face and simultaneously banging at his chest with your small hands. “How could you do this?! I hate you so much!”
Taehyung was beyond confused, not knowing what the fuss was about but still able to appreciate the beauty of the bag.
Jungkook just laughed at your changing moods that he got used to by now and kissed you back, his hands on your waist. “Just wanna make you happy.”
After the chaos that Jungkook’s present brought died down a little, Taehyung and Sasha exchanged their gifts; for Sasha, a Dyson Airwrap that she went crazy for, and for Taehyung, a vintage camera he adored.
The rest of the evening was filled with storytelling, snacks, and stolen kisses until you all decided to go upstairs and call it a night.
-
“I can’t believe you got me a Birkin bag,” you whispered into his chest as you just stood in the middle of the bedroom, hugging.
You were both very physical people; it was something that Jungkook made you realize about yourself.
“What did you think I was gonna get you?” he asked, amusement lacing his voice as he rocked you back and forth.
You thought about it for a moment and quickly came to the conclusion that it wasn’t at all out of character for Jungkook to get you an extravagant gift. “Okay, it actually totally makes sense that you got me a Birkin bag. But it’s not even my birthday; it’s Jesus’ birthday.”
Jungkook laughed heartily and kissed the top of your head. “I’ll get him one next year. Now, let’s go; I wanna take a shower.”
After taking everything you need with you, you entered the bathroom together and locked the door behind you before you both started undressing.
Jungkook’s eyes roamed over your bare body hungrily as you entered the shower just behind him and let your hair down carefully.
“I haven’t washed my hair in three days; it’s time to do that now,” you stated, grabbing the shampoo bottle, but before you could open it, Jungkook grabbed you by the hips and leaned in to kiss you.
The warm water streamed down your bodies as you deepened the kiss, and his wandering hands were now on your ass. You looked up and down his sculpted body, getting aroused by the sight of him all hard and muscular.
“Remember the first time I had you in the shower?” he breathed against your full lips, kneading your ass. You simply nodded. “Let’s recreate that.”
You would have lied if you had said that your pussy wasn’t wet since the morning and that you hadn’t been waiting desperately to have sex with him the entire day, but you had to wash your hair now. “Jungkook, I gotta wash my hair; sorry.”
“Give me that,” he nodded to the shampoo bottle, which you handed to him. “Now, turn around.”
Once you turned around, he moved your hair to the side to reveal your entire back and grabbed you by the hips. He fisted his huge dick before slowly entering your ass. He squeezed some shampoo into his hand and started massaging your hair with it.
You gasped, “Jungkook!” before leaning into him closer until your ass hit his hips. He first started thrusting slowly, letting out low grunts that sent shivers down your spine before his thrusts began to hasten.
You arched your back, and your moans became louder; the clapping of his hips against your ass sounded like fireworks. You were sure if there were any neighbors, they would’ve heard you.
“You like that, huh?” Jungkook growled, head tilted back in pure pleasure. “You like when I’m fucking this fat ass, yeah? This ass was made for me to drill.”
“Yes, I love it, Kookie,” your desperation was palpable. “Please, don’t stop; don’t ever stop.”
His hands massaged your hair again, as if to not abandon it, before he suddenly lifted you up with ease and started fucking into you like you were a toy. He was hitting all the spots, your chest bouncing up and down, and your combined moans had never been louder.
“You feel so fucking good,” Jungkook grunted, his hands finding the opportunity to spank you harshly. “Just a little more, baby. I’m 'bout to cum; fuck, I’m 'bout to cum.”
Your own orgasm was nearing too, but you were too lost in your pleasure to say anything. A few thrusts later, you felt a warm flood of cum enter your ass and a breathless Jungkook kissing your neck.
You collapsed against Jungkook, whose strong hands held you upright. “You exhausted, baby?”
You nodded, with a pout on your lips. “Can’t feel my legs right now.”
Jungkook chuckled, cleaning your body with your coconut body wash. “It’s okay, baby; I’ll clean us up, and then we’ll go to bed.”
_
The next morning was surprisingly sunny, yet still freezing. You went downstairs to find everybody already awake; you blamed the sex you had last night for the fact that you woke up so late.
“Morning, princess,” Jungkook called out with a big grin. “You sleep well?”
Sasha chimed in, sarcastically, “Yeah, Yn, did you sleep well?”
You simply nodded and said, “Yeah, what about you guys?” before going up to the fridge to get something to drink when you saw something.
There was another line added to yours and Jungkook’s side of the sheet.
“Hey, why is there another strike on here?” you asked in disbelief. “The only PDA that happened was yesterday before opening presents!”
Sasha and you were truly the only ones invested in this competition; the guys just looked at each other in amusement, finding their girlfriends absolutely adorable.
“Are you serious?” Sasha snapped. “That show you two put on last night was very much PDA; we heard everything! Right, baby?”
Taehyung vigorously nodded his head as if not to give her a reason to be mad.
“Well, I’m sorry, but that’s not PDA if you didn’t see anything!” you argued. “It’s called a display of affection for a reason!”
“You disrupted our sleep! It deserves to be on here,” she declared with conviction.
“I’ll tell you where you deserve to be—” you started until Jungkook cut you off.
“It’s okay, baby; we’ll get them back soon enough,” he assured you with a cute smile. “Just eat breakfast before you say things you might regret.”
You simply abided by his wishes and sat down next to them at the kitchen table and started eating.
_
After spending two hours hiking and exploring the little town, you and Sasha were exhausted, but the guys weren’t; they actually decided to go to the gym, which was about a 20-minute drive from the cabin.
While they were at the gym, you and Sasha cozied up on the living room couch, her legs over yours.
“This is so much fun,” Sasha dreamily said. “We are best friends dating best friends; I love that for us.”
“Hmmm,” you agreed. “I feel like I can’t imagine it any other way, you know? Like Jungkook and I have been dating for two months—not even—and I already can’t imagine a life where I’m not with him.”
Sasha smiled softly. “And to think this is the guy that you rejected for two years…”
“I know! This is what’s kind of scaring me,” you started ranting. “Jungkook has been into me this whole time, and now, now he has me. I’m scared that there was a version of me inside his head that I can’t live up to, you know?”
Taking a sip from her orange juice, Sasha pulled a confused face. “I think that’s you overthinking because why would that even be the case? He has you now, but the effort he puts into making you happy didn’t go away; actually, on the contrary, he’s putting in more effort because the guy loves you, Yn.”
Your heart warmed at the mere thought of Jungkook, a man who made every other man look less than.
“Yeah, you’re right,” you stated. “You know how I get when something is so good that it doesn’t feel real; I’m just really paranoid. It doesn’t matter; tell me what’s up with you and Mr. Taehyung.”
Sasha suddenly started to smile like a child in a candy store. “He’s so amazing, Yn! But I gotta tell you something…”
Your eyes widened in curiosity. “What? What is it?”
She took a deep breath before saying, “Okay, so… you know how Tae and Jungkook are graduating this year and Tae already got an offer to work again at this firm after? Well, he’s been hinting at… marriage a lot lately, and I… I found a ring while I was sleeping over at his place last week.”
You jumped up with your hand over your mouth. “SHUT UP! This is sooo exciting; oh my god, this is just… this is so amazing!”
“Yeah,” she formed a small smile. “But I don’t know… I feel like I don’t know if I’m ready for marriage yet; it’s so huge.”
You put her head on your chest and soothingly ran your hand over her shoulder. “Sasha, you think about this as much as you need, but if you want to hear my opinion on it, I think if he does propose, you should at least consider it. I mean, you don’t have to get married right away! You can take your time; it will be exactly like now, but you’ll just have a ring on your finger.”
Sasha started to grin like an idiot. “I mean, it is a very impressive ring; I can’t deny that.”
“Oooh, well don’t leave me hanging; I want the deets!”
_
Meanwhile, the guys finished their gym session and made their way to the nearest store to get everything you needed for the Christmas dinner you were going to cook.
Jungkook held the list in his hand, smiling down at it as his eyes scanned over your handwriting, which he adored.
“What are you smiling about?” Taehyung inquired.
“Nothing, just Yn’s pretty handwriting,” Jungkook shook his head and smiled cutely.
Taehyung chuckled. “Finally got your girl, huh?”
“Yeah,” Jungkook shined with pride. “Finally.”
Suddenly, in the middle of the snacks aisle, Taehyung stopped, holding a bag of chips.
“I need to tell you something, man,” Taehyung began, as if deep in thought, to which Jungkook simply nodded at him. “So, I’ve been bringing up the idea of… marriage a lot with Sasha, but she’s kinda—how do I say this—she gets dismissive whenever I mention it, changing the topic, looking kinda uncomfortable, and I’m scared that when I propose, she won’t say yes.”
Jungkook searched for the right words to say, wanting to comfort his friend. “Well, I think you should communicate it with her. When girls do that, it doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t into you; they just overthink everything, see every possible outcome first, you know? And hey, just take me as an example; I hopelessly chased Yn for two years; now she’s my girlfriend. The important thing is you don’t give up.”
“I know she loves me, but she acts so weird whenever I say anything—even the most subtle thing about getting married—and you know I’m really good at being subtle!” Taehyung’s frustration was evident. “I already got the ring; I’m just waiting for the right moment, just waiting for her to give me the feeling that she wants this.”
“Maybe this subtlety is what isn’t working,” Jungkook suggested. “Sometimes, you just need to be honest, direct; say what’s on your mind.”
Taehyung looked at him, dumbfounded. “Ey, just ‘cause there isn’t a subtle bone in your body doesn’t mean everybody’s like that, okay?!”
Jungkook chuckled, recognizing the conflict within his best friend. “Alright, you do you, but if it were me, I’d listen to the master.”
“The master of what exactly? Making a fool of himself?” Taehyung jested. “You waited two years for that girl to say yes to a date; man, you’re no master of anything.”
“Ey, man, don’t piss me off!”
_
After lazily sitting on the couch, you both decided to bake Christmas cookies to kill some time until the guys came back.
Following the sound of Taehyung’s car pull up in the driveway, Jungkook entered the house with two bags filled with groceries and snacks, Taehyung following behind him with equally filled bags.
“Hey, you two!” you welcomed them. “How was the gym?”
“It was good, baby. We went to the store, got you everything you wanted,” Jungkook stepped into the kitchen, where you and Sasha just finished baking the cookies, and was about to kiss your lips, but you threateningly shook your head, the competition still on your mind.
To make up for the lost kiss, though, you grabbed a cookie and held it up to his mouth.
“A cookie for my Kookie,” you leaned towards him over the kitchen counter, accentuating your breasts, feeding him the cookie playfully.
His knowing smirk spoke volumes as he ate the cookie, already mentally preparing for the things he was going to do to you once you’re in your room.
Taehyung brought up the last bag of groceries and greeted his girlfriend with a big smile and an even bigger kiss, which she immediately reciprocated passionately.
“Ha-ha!!” you yelled, gloating. “Finally, I can put you down on the list!”
You danced happily, without noticing Jungkook watching you with heart eyes.
After cleaning the counter and organizing the groceries, you got started on your huge Christmas meal: a roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, roasted vegetables, and cornbread.
After four hours of you slaving away in the kitchen and all three of them asking if you wanted help— to which you always replied “No! I hate it when I’m cooking and someone’s in my space!”—you finished your feast, and Taehyung went on to prepare the pumpkin pie for dessert.

After stuffing yourself with food and brushing your teeth, everybody went to their respective bedrooms.
You opted for stretchy, tight shorts and Jungkook’s sweater (that you stole), and Jungkook was in his boxers. Comfortable in each other’s arms, you two laid on the spacious bed in serene silence.
Deciding to break the silence, you leaned into him and asked, “How was it with Taehyung today?”
Jungkook sighed softly, touching your head with his lips gently and replied, “It was nice; he’s got a lot on his mind though.”
Curiosity took over you for a second, and your mind raced with the possibility of it being the same thing Sasha talked to you about. “What about?”
His hands were now rubbing your back under the thick covers, adding warmth to your skin.
“I feel like there’d be a conflict of interest if I told you,” he admitted hesitantly. “It’s about Sasha.”
Your heartbeat quickened for a second until you decided to play a game. “I think I know what it’s about…”
“Yeah?” Jungkook smirked at you, challenging. “What is it about?”
“You go first,” you provoked, a finger poking his chest. “Unless you don’t wanna have sex for a week.”
“Okay, so,” he gave in immediately, sitting up straight, symbolizing his readiness to have a conversation about your friends. “Taehyung wants to propose to Sasha, but he thinks she doesn’t wanna marry him.”
“Yeaaah,” you said, unimpressed. “She already knows all of that.”
Jungkook expressed his shock, raising his eyebrows in a questioning manner, which he quickly changed back to normal. “No, you don’t understand; he even bought her a ring.”
You nodded, still unimpressed. “And he’s apparently really bad at hiding it.”
“No!” Jungkook exclaimed in disbelief. “Haha, bastard thinks he’s so subtle too…”
After his short gloating session, he suddenly turned to you face to face, curiosity written all over his face. “So?? What does she think? Is she into the idea, or completely against it, or what?”
“It’s complicated,” you explained. “She loves him, but she has so much to think about. On one hand, she feels like she’s not ready for such a commitment, and on the other, she wants nothing more than to spend her life with him.”
“Oof… well that’s better than what Tae thinks; he’s kinda convinced she doesn’t want it at all,” Jungkook let out a relieved sigh. “I mean, he’s not gonna propose tomorrow; he’s just thinking more like… next couple of months, you know?”
“Yeah, I told Sasha that she should take it into consideration; I mean, they have been together for almost two years now,” you observed, your head now on his chest. “And he has a stable future ahead of him. I understand why he wants to propose now; doesn’t mean they have to get married immediately.”
Your conversation made Jungkook ponder what your reaction would be if you found an engagement ring at his place; if you would panic, if you would cry tears of joy or sadness. He hoped you knew all the comments and “jokes” he made about making you his wife weren’t jokes.
“You’re right,” he agreed with you in a soft tone. “But promise me something.”
“What?” you asked.
“If there was ever a similar problem in our life, the only people we talk about it with is us,” he asserted. “I don’t ever wanna make you feel you can’t come to me and tell me everything, okay?”
“I promise,” was your answer.

On the last day of that weekend getaway, all of you—Jungkook—thought it was a nice idea to go paragliding as an exciting farewell to the mountains. Despite you thinking you were going to die, you ended up agreeing that it was a great experience to make.
Eventually, you had to say goodbye to the little cabin that would forever hold a special place in your heart.
The departure would’ve been much more emotional if it weren’t for Taehyung’s and Sasha’s triumphant expressions as they watched you and Jungkook clean and scrub the entire house while they sat comfortably on the couch, making out.
