Choosing to see the positive today- after 12 hours of travel, my luggage was lost (not a huge deal except they couldn’t tell me when I would get it back). Admittedly, this little road bump effected me more than I’m willing to admit (sorry, Eric 🙃), and today has been a TRIAL. So, before I sign off for the night to get some very much needed 💤 , I’m posting this crazy pretty view from our hotel room, choosing to see the positive, and standing in awe of our gorgeous planet. #croatia - stop it with these views already. After my grandfather passed last year, one of my friends told me she will never forget watching her mother care for her ailing parents. She will never forget the example of utter selflessness, unconditional love and strength her mother set. And almost 365 days later, those words are still with me...mainly because they are the same words I would use to describe my own mother. Selfless. Unconditionally supportive and loving. Strong. I couldn’t ask for a better mom or example. 💛 Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and all the moms out there who are amazing but who are also exhausted, overwhelmed and deprived of alone time.
