i’m upset because last night i realized bulldok disbanded officially in january and i never even saw anyone talking about it but then again i never go on my dashboard. this was their ONLY music video and it was released in oct 2016. if bts or got7 or any sm boy group released this same song you know the fan base still wouldn’t be over it. 🙄

mamamoo did blackface once and they apologized in under 4 hours but when wendy from red velvet imatates a black person we got no apology 🤷🏽‍♀️ i just feel like it’s unfair to always call out mmm for something they realize what was wrong and honestly apologized but not have anyone coming for wendy like that :/

i haven’t really heard much about wendy cause i’m not going on tumblr much these days. and i haven’t posted about it because…. well….. i haven’t been on this blog in two months. :\ sorry about that. i haven’t even checked the activity. and also i myself usually let the admin peaches do the rv posting with the exception of a couple of incorrect quotes posts i’ve made, because i never stanned them.

but i’m going to elaborate on my mamamoo post i made a couple of months ago: my criticism was that, despite their apologies, they still did racist stuff after that, so to a lot of people, the apologies felt insincere. don’t get me wrong, i believe in accepting apologies after celebrities screw up, but it doesn’t feel like much more than a mandatory-but-illegitimate to a lot of people if hwasa puts on a wig and a clown nose not too long after apologizing for blackface and a couple of other offenses. that was what i was referring to.

sucks that wendy hasn’t apologized. i never saw the thing she did, but an apology and an “i’ll do better next time” would at least be a start. but for now, if we aren’t getting anything, then that is something i’m upset about. i will clarify though that the reason i haven’t commented on here about it is because i haven’t been on this blog.

Bruh I really hate Mamamoo and I don’t like them but on my writing blog the other admin loves Mamamoo and so many of our followers love Mamamoo but I want to quit writing about them? What should I do?

i’d say talk it out with your fellow admin. i don’t know if admin peaches is going to stop posting mamamoo, i’m not going to make her. and i’m not going to insinuate everyone has to stop enjoying mamamoo, because i get the “separate art from the artists” thing (though i personally won’t keep on supporting them because i only take that ideology to a certain extent). but my blog isn’t really about appreciating the art, it’s basically all about the artists.

if you think you don’t want anymore mamamoo on the blog whatsoever, then that’s for you to figure out with the other admin. or you can just tell them you don’t want to take those requests anymore. it’s all up to you.
