kind of crazy how bbc sherlock ended openly with john and sherlock living together, raising a child together and being told that now that mary isn’t around they can become something. ‘Something’ being very vague and only being able to possibly mean being together.

i don’t think we’ve taken enough advantage of the amount of angst that can be created in the bartylus situationship.

regulus is very aware of his feelings for james and general romantic feelings towards men rather than women, but, of course, he’s 100% convinced nothing would ever possibly happen between them. so at the beginning of fourth year when barty makes a move on him he’s on board.

except he knows how barty feels about evan (and vice versa) and is all too aware that barty’s using him to repress his feelings. plus there’s the guilt of knowingly fooling around with the guy he knows his best friend is in love with (and there’s the additional guilt of knowing that pandora knows (bc of course she does) that he’s fooling around with the guy that her brother is in love with.)
