Intro : What the fuck is tinder?

"come on, it will be fun!" you say, grabbing your phone and opening the tinder app. your friend ningning looks at you like you've grown three heads, as you fill in your basic information.

"y/n, i love you with all of my heart, but this is stupid! i mean, how could it be fun?" ningning whines, but shoves herself next to you on her bed and lays down with her head in your lap.

"i mean, what could go wrong? ill set my distance as far as possible, and even if we see someone we know, i wont swipe right on them!" you explain as you begin looking through profiles.

"he's cute," ningning points out.

jung jaehyun, 26, graduated from economics. 30 miles away. his interests are going to the gym, playing basketball and... rescuing kittens from trees?

"what the fuck, is this satire?" you say, reading out loud the last part. ningning covers her mouth.

Next.

yangX2. 23, freelancer. interests include: videogaming, streaming, dancing. swipe right.

Yeonjun. 24, barista. insterests include: basketball, netflix, reading.

hmm. you show the profile to ningning, who has gotten bored already, and has found interest in scrolling through instagram.

"let me take a closer look" ningning says, sitting up and taking your phone in her hand.

after a bit of scrolling through his information, ningning gasps.

"no way!!" she says, "do you not know who he is?" she asks, turning towards you. you shrug, then look at her as she laughs, "that's karina's ex!"

your eyes bulge out of you head, "no way!"

from all ningning has told you, karina was in her literature lectures. not too quiet, not too loud. ningning had told you once that they were doing a project together and that karina was really smart and nice.

after a bit of giggling and swiping left and right, you leave your phone at her desk, where you're currently doing your homework.

you were in your last year of high school, with the hopes of going to the college of your dreams, which was also the one your friends were attending, so doing your homework was crucial.

ningning had gone to the kitchen, and you could faintly hear her talking to her mother.

the moment ningning came back to her room, your phone pinged. a new notification.

you briefly take a look and your eyes widen, before dropping everything.

HAECHAN : teasing little fuck, but that's what makes him special. studies music alongside mark, and works at a convenience store for some quick money. gamer at heart.

MARK : has a dream of making his own group someday. very passionate about music, that's why he's studying it right now in college. roommates with jisung, which you can tell at first glance due to his spamming on his public instagram stories.

JAEMIN : cat dad!! although he looks like just a pretty face, he's really smart. studies archeology, and tutors other students every wednesday and friday, no matter the subject.

JISUNG : yappiest yapper (2). very awkward around new people, but with mark as a roommate, you kind of get used to it. studies web programming, but plans on switching majors if he fails his finals.

Y/N : the youngest of the friendgroup. always the butt of the joke, mostly because she's as pure as they come. too sarcastic for her own good. never goes out if ningning isnt there

NINGNING : y/n' best friend since the beginning of highschool. even though she is older than y/n, the two have a collective braincell of one (1). ningning is a fashion designer student and often uses y/n as inspiration and/or a model.

RENJUN : the father of the friendgroup. very sarcastic and hot-headed. studies the fine arts and has a part-time job in a museum as a guide. least active in the groupchat

JENO : himboest himbo. nonetheless, very smart and stongminded. works out 24/7 and would leave you hanging if his gym buddies have decided to go work out earlier than usual. studies digital marketing, but is planning to switch majors.

CHENLE : the yappiest yapper to ever exist. his dog daegal is the center of his social media profiles. if there isnt a daegal post, this isnt his account. studies filmography, and helps out in the university library whenever he has any free time

Y/N'S PRIV : her personal diary. posts stuff whenever she doesnt want to talk to her friends, even though they're the only ones following her. messy posts with little to no context
