Glen was ecstatic to be in Boca Raton, while it wasn't his usual destination to travel to, he was willing to go that extra mile just for Ariana. Much to his surprise their relationship was blooming in a way that he had never imagined. All those years ago when they worked with one another there was never anything there that wasn't more than platonic between the pair, but of course things had changed. They both had changed as people and grown so much since their "Scream Queens" days and the changes were great, at least in his eyes. With the movie night they had recently it left the male a bit confused on where her mind was. Their almost sleeping together incident left him wanting more if he was being honest with himself, but he of course, wanted to respect the singer and not push or force her into anything she didn't want. How the night would go this time around though? He wasn't sure, but he was hopeful that it would be a great night.

As he sat at their table, he took a sip of water as that was the only thing he had asked for. He would order once she got there and had the time to look at the menu herself. Glen was dressed formal causal, he wasn't absolutely certain of the vibe for the night, but he figured one couldn't go wrong with dressing formal causal. In black jeans, black and white Adidas and a white collared shirt he let out a sigh when he got glimpse of the singer. A smile quickly spreading across his lips as they made eye contact.

Standing up, he pulled out her chair but before letting her take her seat he gently pulled her in for a hug. Inhaling her sweet scent as she apologized for being late, "Don't worry about it, sweetheart. I just got here like ten minutes so I haven't been waiting too long. How is your nonna?" He asked as he pulled away, allowing her to take her seat. "We wouldn't want her to be upset over you eating someone else's Italian cooking! You look beautiful." It took everything in him to not pull her in for a kiss, but he refrained from doing so. Looking at her in awe, he took a seat, "You don't have to thank me for coming. It's not the worst place I've been to and besides...I get to see you and eat some Italian food. Worth the trip already."

ariana had yet to wrap her mind around the fact that glen had shown up in boca raton. he had told her that he was willing but she knew not everyone loved her home state. she was only there to visit with her nonna and her other family. what didn't help was the fact that the last time she had seen glen they had almost slept together. him coming back into her life had been unexpected. she wasn't sure what was going to come of the date but she would admit that she was excited. she had made a reservation at le sorelle, an italian restaurant that got amazing reviews. due to the press tour and wearing so much pink, she had opted to go for a classic little black dress. she had put on a very minimal amount of make up. of course, her security detail had been in a frenzy when she told them the plan. the restaurant had been notified. she couldn't stop herself from feeling almost jittery as she had been told glen had arrived already. she thanked the hostess who was guiding her to the private room. "sorry if i kept you waiting," she breathed, seeing him sitting at the table," i got caught up talking with my nonna and i had to lie since if she found out i was going to an italian restaurant instead of having her cook, she might have lost her mind." one of her hands reached to brush her hair back as she neared the table," i know i said thank you already but seriously, thank you, you really didn't have to come all the way out here for me." @glcnpcwcll

You don't have to thank me, sweetheart. I'm speakin' nothing but the truth here. In a way this is quite exciting...knowing that we are both on the same page. What we do next though, we've gotta make sure we're still on the same page for that too. Exactly, we both know it won't happen again and we'll make sure to hold each other accountable for it too. You already know me so well -- it's such a privilege to be invited to a longhorns game! Plus, who wouldn't want to hang out with Matthew McConaughey for a day. Maybe it's the bias talking here. Perfect, I'm adding it as we speak.

well, thank you for saying that! it does and i am just thankful that my music speaks to people. i promise, we really are on the same page. i think we both were just a little caught off guard. i wasn't even sure about if i was picking up on the right signals. i really hope that's true or i'm going to be feeling very disappointed! though we know that we don't want it to happen. you do? am i going to assume, depending on the time of year, there is a longhorns game in my future? the best state ever? big talk! yes, you can totally put that on your resume and everything.

It sure is "Sweetener", there were quite a few good songs on there. So, it makes sense why it holds a special place in most hearts. Good, I'm glad that we're both on the same boat here. For a second, I was thinking that I was insane for reading too much into it. I feel like that now that we're both on the same wavelength, we won't go years without talking. We'll both be more proactive here. I sure have! I like to think ahead of the game, you know. Besides, I always want to make sure people have fun when they visit the best state ever. And now I can say that even Ariana Grande agrees that I'm one of a kind.

thank you! it's "sweetner"? i do think that holds a special place in a lot of people's hearts! i never honestly saw that happening when we decided to spend time together. though i'm not unhappy that it did! i really hope that's true since we did go a long time without speaking. that is not something that i want to happen again. i'd miss you way too much! you've already started thinking about it? i can't remember the last time i was in texas! i am sure whatever you come up with will be great. a little cliche but i think that's allowed. you are certainly one of a kind!

Yeah yeah, the state doesn't have the best reputation and I'll be honest that it's also not my personal favorite. However, there's a certain someone that's out here and I've been wanting to see her. Not quite loony though. Alright, you've got a solid point there. We can invite her.

florida? what the hell are you doing in florida? i'm australian and all things i've heard about floridians are bad. are you going a little looney, mate? she might steal our thunder, but she'll bring along some hot friends i'm sure? and it's not like she's bad looking herself.

You're right, all I've gotta do is have a bit of faith that'll happen soon in the future. For all we know, I might get casted as the next James Bond. Are they really? I guess this means I need to watch more of your films. The last one I watched was Gladiator II and that was fuckin' good. Oh? Alright, I'll make sure to plan my next NYC trip soon then!

Maybe that will still come. With all the movies you've been doing, there has to be one where you have to dress up nicely and fancy and go to some big event. Most action movies have those type of scenes at some point. No, I haven't. My movies are mostly just sad. It was a pretty interesting night. If you happen to be in New York between now and april, drinks are on me.

I couldn't agree more with you. Older or newer stuff...it's all pretty damn great if you ask me. Ohh, that's a great question and a tough one to answer, but I'll have to say right now it's "Sweetener". Who would have thought that years later of working together, we'd be here being stumped on whether to make the next move or not. You won't have to worry about that -- at this point, I don't think I can go too long without hearing from you. Okay, that is noted for future references. I've already started thinking of places to take you in Texas. Gotta make sure that you're being wowed. Would it be cliche of me to say that I'm not like most men?

i did! though i love that they are playing my older stuff. which album of mine is your favorite? to be fair, i wasn't sure how to react either since it was..unexpected. it was in a good way for the both of us, don't worry. if you don't call at all now, i'll stress. mhm, italian is probably my preference. we'll see how this one does! and maybe sometime you can show me your favorite spot in texas. i'm just trying to do something nice since you are going out of your way just to take me to dinner. not many would fly to my hometown to do such a thing.
