The @wipbigbang posting period coincides with Glimbow Week 2025

Both are coming this upcoming September.

If you have an unfinished fanfic (even a partially posted WIP) you can sign up to finish it for the WIP Big Bang and artists can sign up to illustrate your fic!

If you have an unfinished work of art, you can sign up for the WIP Reverse Big Bang and writers can sign up to write a fanfic to go with your art.

Details and full rules for both events are here. Sign ups are open now (and you can always sign up now and then drop out later if you realize you won't have time.)

Worst case, you get a push to finally finish that fanfic or fanart in time for the ship week. Best case, you finish your thing AND get an extra fic or art for your troubles, making more content for everyone!

I'm back, baby! Have a short little fic here about Glimmer and one of her little hobbies, watching paranormal research shows and heckling them.

Later that evening, after the kids had been given as many hugs as they could stand and Catra and Adora promised to bring them back in one piece that night and get them to bed, Glimmer had laid in a supply of food and drink at the main table in the living room of their suite in the castle, told the staff not to bother them for anything less than insurrection, and was lounging on the couch with a coy smile on her face as Bow came into the living room.

"Well don't you look particularly beautiful tonight," Bow said as he lowered the lights.

"So, you ready for tonight's… entertainment?" Glimmer said as Bow slid onto the couch beside her.

"As long as you don't scream so loud like you did last time," Bow said as he gave her a kiss.

"We'll see," Glimmer said and held her hand out as she hit a button on a remote. A hologram screen popped up behind the main table with three people standing shoulder to shoulder in a brave yet cocky posture. The camera angle switched to show them from a low angle as a title that said Etherian Paranormal popped over their heads and a voice-over said, "Tonight on Etherian Paranormal, Spook-ta, Clara-voyen, and Karl investigate the mysterious town of Alwyn and its ghostly occurrences."

Blooming into the Change

"What time are you getting out?" Bow asked, no doubt feeling the same impatience she was.  "Unfortunately, the board hasn’t even arrived yet, so probably not until 7."  She watched as Bow typed, probably composing the same message over and over because there were only so many ways to say, "Sorry, babe. Capitalism sucks." Even if she didn't have her meeting, he taught a late lab that rarely got out until after 6 anyway. Plus the forty-five minutes for him to get to her place, her hour commute home…  Glimmer sighed. This all would be so much easier if they'd had their shit together and gotten together when they were younger. At least they could have a late dinner and still get a little time to catch up before they had to do it all over again tomorrow. Such were the perils of a mature relationship.
