It had taken me years to find my feet for what I truly love and enjoy DOING, and I can say that I wouldn't look back! I had self doubt because of my dyslexia. I was sacred at first, worrying about what people might think or say, and that really got me in a mess at first. I had people messaging me criticism and I was sadden by this. Story time... That night was scary just sitting there looking at the door that leads out to the ward. The room I was in was the Labour room. I remember the nurse looking at me in destress even tho they are trained to keep calm. Both heart beats could be heard dropping. That's when the midwife tells me to take off her jewellery ASAP. I couldn't... I was panicking because I saw a professional midwife panicking. Would it have been different if she kept her calm? Few minutes later Nicole was rushed in for a C-section and there I wait in that room at 3am wondering if they will both or just one come out alive. From what the nurse was saying, right then it was possible that both would die. But 4am my little boy was born and a nurse walks back into the room holding my son. I was greatful to hold my son first but the sheer panic was lurking around. We will dwell on hard times and sometimes we choose not to accept what is infront of us. Why do we make decisions that are the wrong decisions, but it could be fixed with much thought?
