Mecha Pilot Prowl and his Mech~

Those thrusters can change positions for the sake of. Basically flying. I wanted to give Prowl at least some advantage so he would be able to keep up with Jazz haha. He can’t fly infinitely because it will burn out all the fuel but yeah. Something like biggg leaps and dashes >:D

Jazz calling Prowl “Prowler” sucks, doesn’t fit at all, and Jazz would not fucking say that. I know he doesn’t call him by nicknames so much in canon but if he did it would be 10,000x better and not shitty. I’d believe almost ANY nickname more. I would literally sooner believe that those two would each call the other babygirl, even that sounds more in-character. But even though “Prowler” isn’t canon it’s damn near impossible to avoid seeing EVERYWHERE in fandom. I am once again begging for fresher takes

Once in a while my brain gets overwhelmed and I just can't keep up with any social interactions, can't properly make words and feel nothing over everything. I know you said that Prima was genuinely joking, but in all honesty, I feel like he’s also not joking. He comes off as an unhinged protector and mentor while also being the kind figure that Orion needs. Orion is Prima’s first and only apprentice after all. The others all have their groupings of apprentices, to see their oldest brother pick up an apprentice for the first time in VORNS must be strange. From what we’ve seen of Prima, he genuinely cares for Orion, his little lamb bot. Now, he may be out of touch emotionally just because of how old he is and the difference in scale and power, but he seems to be a good person for Orion. Not only that, but Orion seems to be good for Prima!

The others don’t seem to realize that, or maybe they do and they just don’t recognize that it’s Orion that’s caused the change in Prima. And I can just imagine that the meeting room here went dead COLD with killing intent and irritation when Prima made his ‘joke’. To scare Maximo into nearly pulling his weapon in defense. Joke or not, that type of killing intent is very real and genuine. I’m a sucker for cybertronian EM fields, so I can just imagine the kind of drowning rage that Prima projected just for that split moment.

I’d love to see more of Orion and Prima’s relationship, just soft moments between them, where maybe they’re more than just Prime and Apprentice. Since Orion does eventually become Optimus (if that’s your plan), they could have that Eldest brother and Youngest brother relationship. Or even a more paternal relationship. Either way they seem much more connected with one another than any other Prime and their apprentice, besides the undertone of ZetaSen.

I mean you have the idea of Prima finding Orion crying from what happened with D, and maybe Prime doesn’t push on what happened because as protective and unhinged as he may seem, ORION matters more than whoever caused the crying. Or with the audial wings, Prima being so happy that Orion actually took his advice on the audial wings, being so happy to match with his apprentice. Or Prima seeing the resemblance and parallels between himself and Megatronus and Orion and D. Prima encouraging the relationship with D.

Even with all of this you have everything with Orion’s side of this all. Orion is the first and only apprentice of Prima. The very first Prime. That kind of pressure and responsibility must be huge, and I can see where Orion would definetly lean on Prima as much as he could when he couldn’t lean on people like D or Jazz.

And wow I ranted……

Look I have so many thoughts on the Prima and Orion relationship. I’m a writer at heart and a world builder by nature and your AU feeds all my high fantasy romance and tragedy needs.
