🛰️ Lore!!!! Here, Satellite Soundwave, was not forged nor constructed cold (not elaborating on that part yet), so he does not have a spark, and he does not naturally have paint like other bots; he was deployed in battle for an experiment (possibly), and he became incredibly good at fighting. So much so, he earned the nickname The Blue Screen of Death (yes I’m taking inspiration from malware stuff for him, this is also relevant for his lore. Yes that’s why the background is blue) because he always came out of battles coated in energon… later on, he’d be given his signature blue paint as sort of a symbol of bloodshed/energonshed 😌 (like how human warriors would wear red)

Ok, so here's the thing: LOST SPARKS

This is going to be a very long post about upcoming "Lost Sparks" fanfic.

In addition to what I've told you here and what I've mentioned here I think it's time for something more :D <3

OFFICIAL PREMIERE DATE: JULY 13!!!

This will be a double premiere: Chapter 0 will be posted on Tumblr - an introduction to the whole plot and on the same day Chapter 1 will be uploaded to AO3!

The most important question:

WHAT WILL THE LOST SPARKS PLOT BE ABOUT?

SUMMARY:

A millennium after the victory in the conflict that aimed to destroy Ceall, an unexpected contact from Cybertron disrupts the apparent peace.

Hope for peace never died, but the flame of curiosity combined with a wave of hope for renewed contact and improved interplanetary relations was fueled by three sentences transmitted in a message from the Cybertron's official comm center:

Cybertron is reporting.

Please contact us.

We need help.

After sending a peace mission, contact breaks off - the last message contains a request for the delivery of parts and the arrival of a designated person on Cybertron.

Nightbird is thrown into the middle of the fight between two factions - the Autobots and the Decepticons - she arrives on the planet unaware of the dramatic situation that prevails on Cybertron.

Aware of the cruelty of war and its consequences, she tries to maneuver on thin ice as a neutral pawn in the conflict between the two sides. In the meantime, she tries to solve the mystery of the message Ceall received and discover the reason for the disappearance of the peace mission... Aware that danger lurks in the shadows and the vision of another conflict, the consequences of which may be catastrophic.

This is a general outline for most of the plot in the first part - quite superficial.

I've written about certain points and assumptions in the posts that you'll find links to above, so I'd like to give you a more specific description/summary of what you can expect in the first part.

I intentionally wrote the first part - you can expect 25 chapters in this act. I'm not sure yet about the length of the next parts. I'm trying to write enough in advance now to have the right amount of chapters to publish each week. That's why everything is moving so much in time. I'm sorry about that. Currently, each of the finished chapters is almost 5,000 words long. So yeah, I'm trying to deliver something...

In addition to what I've shared in the upcoming chapters' synopsis, I'd like to touch on themes of loss, rejection, loneliness, lack of understanding, intolerance, injustice, and more in this story. So yes, there will be some heavy themes and plots.

What do I expect?

I'm more in favor of telling you a good story. That's all.

Don’t ask me about the last one idk how it got there. Anyways I had the idea of What If Soundwave’s sound abilities were strong enough that it could damage even him? Like maybe yeah he’s more resilient to sound, but I’m sure even for him the super intense vibrations burst his own face platings eventually too 🤔 I also just wanted to show off his bat teeth tbh. Referenced by vampire bats, technically that would mean his teeth are specialized to make sure a mech bleeds
