Browsing through ways to explain the concept of 'spoonerism', no better definition was found... "A word or phrase created by swapping the initial letters (or first consonant sounds) of two words or syllables to get a new word or phrase"... straight from the urban dictionary source 😎.
P.S. can someone give me the original term from yesteryear, was not even familiar with this neoterm.

Linguistic markers may cloak the introvert, so he may exist without watch. If you're like me, embrace them so that you may ardently enjoy language as much as I do. #thelanguageexperience

Sourcing the Archives
So, the last post that I made showcased a previous post while vacationed in New Orleans; a reblog of sorts. Remembering the memory, and updating the tags, the word tricentennial prompted a deep dive into its etymology.
tri·cen·ten·ni·al/ˌtrīsenˈtenēəl/
Tri, meaning three and -cent, whose etymologic root is latin meaning 100, and -ennial, which denotes not a thing, but apparently a person. After digging, I uncovered that -ennial also has a latin root; deriving from its parent word annus meaning yearly. Thus, the word tricentennial quite literally means three hundred years. #figureitout Language is a build upon, like a game of jenga... enjoy the process.
