Castle Swimmer is so freaking good and here's why:

Has multiple forms of representation that isn't used for plot drama and includes various of groups.

Sick ass character designs that range from multiple species and gives the characters unique designs.

ISN'T SEXUALIZED!! One of the few comics with a gay couple that actually had time to develop and doesn't include sexual scenes because being gay doesn't mean you have a crave for spicy stuff.

A REALLY good plot that has many twists and turns that keeps you on your toes and wanting to see what happens next.

WELL DONE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT 👏👏.

The author/artist uses their platform to spread awareness for endangered species and how to help so an awesome author/artist for an awesome story.

The art style is just perfection and makes for an easy read and you don't have to decipher a code to tell what the character is feeling.

Pretty awesome community with majority of them being respectful towards the author/artist and their creations.

So this some of the few but also major reasons why Castle Swimmer is one of the best comics that I have ever read and think that's out there.

Obey me MC

Okay so this is mainly for the people who think MC is a girl or should be a girl. Listen Obey Me is one of the only few otome games that actually have a G/N Character. Some people who play it are not women and is makes them feel more comfortable and valid playing it. Just because the majority that play it might be women, doesn’t mean that there are others who still want to play it and not be referred to as female. I am a trans man and it really boosts my confidence and validation just to have characters I consider comfort characters, not refer to me as a girl. Just speaking off of experience though, but please try to not make everything about sexual orientation, As well, just because it’s a dating game and has male characters, doesn’t mean that people that aren’t identifying as female can’t play the game. Please respect people who do not identify as female who play the game, we all just want to play the game and have our own experience and enjoy our time while playing. Thank you for your time.

Please respect others

If you don’t believe in the LGBTQIA+ community, that’s okay. Just please keep your opinions to yourself and respect others, it really isn’t that hard to use they/them pronouns for someone or start using a preferred name. It’s their life and they’re trying to do what makes them happy, not to mention what they might go through now that they have come out. It really is hard for them, I can say so myself, so please try to make their life easier and understand that it may not be what you believe in, but it will help them be more confident in themselves and happier. I know you might not get it or understand but please just try your best, as long as you do that, your efforts are valid and you made another person feel valid. Support people and them expressing who they are, again it’s their life, not yours, they are trying to do what makes them happy.
