Reblogging my OP with my Pokemon Violet team

To celebrate Pokemon’s 25th anniversary I wanted to share my favorite teams from each generation I’ve had (or will have in the future with any remakes coming out…*wink* *wink*). I’ve also been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue, my first game being Blue.
I always try to plan my team ahead of time based on a color theme so I’ll even try to masuda/hunt for shinies that will also fit the color theme.


 
In order the games are Blue, Silver, Sapphire, Diamond, White, X, Moon, and Shield.

These new starters are so cute, I had hope for the last generation but I honestly didn’t really like the finally forms. Here’s to hoping this gen has better final stages!

I wanted to do something fun, so here’s my favorite pokemon of each type. Some of these might be surprising as my favorite. I’m also laughing at the fact the second row are pokemon from Johto..

My favorite starters through the generations:

(It may be hard to believe but water is one of my favorite types)

Gen 1: I’ve played through blue/yellow so many times with each starter but I remember picking Squirtle most of the time. Gen 2: Played through Silver/Crystal a lot, but Cyndaquil is an all time favorite Gen 3: My favorite region, played Sapphire/Emerald with all starters, Mudkip was 90% of the time my pick Gen 4: Played Diamond/Pearl picking Piplup the first time I played these games, then I gave Chimchar a try and it become my favorite this gen. Gen 5: Played White picking Oshawott first, but I didn’t like how Samurott looked then picked Snivy and it became my fave. Gen 6: Only played through X twice, each time was Fennekin but 2nd run through I hatched a shiny one to play through the game with. Gen 7: Played Moon with Popplio and then Ultra Moon with Rowlet, but Popplio has my heart. Gen 8: This gen was a little hard to pick a starter, but I decided with Scorbunny, but Grookey was a very close second.

I love spooky season. I felt like drawing something pumpkin related, so I had to make gijinkas of the Pumpkaboo line. I drew shiny Gourgeist forever ago so she needed a redraw, and I’ve never did Pumpkaboo which is a crime.

So after the Nintendo Direct I was most excited about the character customization and the fact that Alcremie has different forms. 

I liked Alcremie before, but the fact it has different color schemes/forms it’s hard picking a favorite! I think these 4 are my faves tho <3

Watched the new pokemon video released this morning, and I like at least half of what was showed!

I love the new Zigzagoon form and they appear almost badger like. Also they have this 80′s rocker vibe, so I had to make a gijinka~

I don’t really like Weezing’s form, and I’m not sure how I feel about Morpeko (I do like how it changes forms tho)

Lastly, I LOVE Marnie’s design. And Bede is ok, hopefully he’s a jerk rival like in the older games? Also I’m liking Team Yell’s design too <3

Really enjoyed Nintendo livestream for E3, so many titles I’m hyped for!

We didn’t get much from the pokemon side since we have the direct last week, but I REAAALLLLY like the new gym leader revealed, Nessa. She’s a level of beauty I strive to be....

Also with that there were two new pokemon revealed, Impidimp and a new good boi Yamper. Can’t wait to see more! <3

I watched the Pokemon Direct last Wednesday and my favorite from the new mons are Wooloo and Corviknight.

I’ll take 20 of each please! <3

I really like all the new starters, so far Scorbunny is my favorite design-wise, but I don’t offically decide on a starter until the final evolutions are revealed :’)

I can’t wait to visit the Galar region!!!

The Knight, The Witch, and The Ninja

( Originally I did the Alolan starters but I love the Kalos starters so much this just had to happen. Should be no surprise but Delphox was my favorite from Kalos. I’m thinking I may do the other starters, but we’ll see! Also added a shiny version.)
