Lapras could be fun! That thing never got an evo, pre evo and nothing really and I feel like Mega would be cool for it.

Also Mega Meganium is such a fun name lmao Mega²nium asdoano But yeah, the Johto starters totally should get megas! The only thing they ever got was H. Typhlosion and that's it. They deserve more love.

In general I hope that if we get new megas, let it be for the gens that have the less megas (see Unova, Johto and Sinnoh) (OH, AND KALOS ITSELF, poor kalos, started the stupid kanto pandering trend and look what happened)

PokemonGO really decided to dick with me today. I’ve been out more often than normal because the weather has been nice and because I’m working daily towards the timed Master Ball research. If I do a raid, two research tasks, and a couple catches and stops each day, I can finish the required tasks easy within the ~2 month time frame.

So today since I was out for a short walk I figured I’d toss out my daily incense to see what I got.

5 minutes in, Galarian Moltres.

Just as I’m pondering how the only use for the Master Ball beyond stubborn EX raids is the Galarian Birds. Galarian Moltres.

I didn’t even know they could show up that early. I thought they only showed up at the end of the incense duration.

Okay, fine. I feed it a golden razz and whiff like four Ultra Balls past it before finally connecting. A bad hit, because it’s a large target high up at long range but I couldn’t really tell that within one hit. But you only get one.

It breaks and flees.

Fine, didn’t expect to catch it anyway. I only got Galarian Zapdos not long ago because it surprised me and I already had a Master Ball primed. I keep walking.

Three minutes later, Galarian Articuno.

You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.

And just my luck, it spawns in a cluster of other pokemon next to a stop. I get one chance to tap it on the map and-

Hit the Buizel beside it.

Okay, fuck, flee and check the map again-

Nope. Gone. Fuck me, right?

And this is after months of scattered attempts at even seeing them with the daily incense previously. It took me a while to get GalZapdos and again, only caught it because I had a Master Ball. Now its buddies show up on the same day to taunt me.

Fuck you, PoGO. And see you tomorrow.

would you guys still like me if i said galar was one of my favorite regions? you probably wouldn't... whatever... just forget it.... 😔

#listen the game and story has some major problems but i had a blast playing it and really ended up loving it #i feel like the biggest draw of galar is the characters. they're all very fun and their designs? immaculate. 😩#(this does not apply to the royal twins /lh)#also it's the first game i've ever completed the dex for!#and the first pkmn game i've got both versions of the game for (i got shield secondhand)#ngl i feel like a lot of ppl are too harsh on it #i wouldn't be surprised if it ended up having a fandom resurgence later on like dppt unova or kalos have #and i will be the hipster scoffing in the corner #jk i'll just be happy that ppl actually enjoy galar like i do #the actual reason why ya'll would stop liking me is that i'm a borderline rose apologist #(i still think he's a shitty dude but i do think he has the potential to be redeemable.)#(that opinion might change once we get the pokemas's galar villain arc.)#pokemon #mj.txt
