Sometimes you want to lose yourself in a hard boiled nightland of capricious goth demigods. Director's Cut ONLY!

Procreate painting of Annihilation (2018, dir. Alex Garland, cinematography Rob Hardy) using MandalaGaba overlay & drawing guide symmetry. Five years old today! A movie that felt so exactly made for me, I almost had an identity crisis in the theater.

Jeff VanderMeer's novel, which I didn't read until after, is a very different deeply sensory, perspective-shifting experience, which I also love & highly recommend.
