You could really use a beta reader. Like, your works have so many mistakes, it's almost painful to read. I'm not talking about grammar mistakes, obviously, since English isn't your first language, but some fics of yours have repeated paragraphs (as in, a paragraph that has been accidentally copied and pasted twice), and weird pacing
if its painful to read then don’t read it? its literally a tumblr fanfic im not gonna be an expert on writing 😭😭

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘: "The Awakening," the most anticipated movie of the year, has everyone on the edge of their seats, eagerly following its progress. As excitement builds, we're treated to behind-the-scenes insights from our beloved stars, sharing their experiences and emotions while bringing this film to life!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Satoru found himself in a place where deep-seated resentment stirred within him whenever he crossed paths with the arrogant (Y/N) (L/N).
Satoru started his career as a junior artist, gradually ascending from minor roles to starring roles in blockbuster movies. Renowned for his impeccable acting skills and unwavering dedication, acting had always been his passion since he first set foot on a film set. Countless acting classes, script readings, and mentorship from seasoned actors propelled him to his current position. Satoru’s enhanced acting prowess garnered attention from industry insiders and critics alike, leading to a flood of lucrative offers. Soon after, he secured a leading role in a major film production, solidifying his status as a symbol of talent in the cinematic world. Despite the limelight, he remained grounded and committed to continuous improvement and evolution as an actor.
That is why, he despite people like (Y/N).
It all started when Satoru's manager informed him of his upcoming collaboration with her on their latest film. Prior to meeting his new co-star, he had been informed of her reputation as a serious and methodical actress, celebrated for her intense performances and meticulous approach to his craft. Aware of the swirling rumors surrounding her, Satoru chose to dismiss them, understanding the destructive potential of unfounded gossip in the competitive world of cinema.
“(Y/N), I presume? I'm Satoru Gojo. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you on this project.” He greeted, extending his hand. She accepted the gesture with a firm but brief handshake, her penetrating gaze fixed on him.
“Likewise.” Came the icy reply.
Initially, Satoru didn't dwell much on her demeanor, considering it typical for professionals in the industry. However, as time passed, he found himself challenged to connect with his reserved co-star.
“(Y/N), let's grab lunch. It's been a long day.” Satoru suggested.
“Why don't we hang out this weekend with the rest of the crew to celebrate?” He proposed on another occasion.
“We should rehearse together sometime.” He persisted once again.
Each time, she declined without hesitation.
Who does she think she is? Just because she was the daughter of a renowned actress didn't give her the right to treat others as beneath her. He couldn't abide the way she subtly excluded him, both outside work and during rehearsals as if implying that Satoru was merely a stain on her career.
“Satoru.”
Suddenly a voice called and Satoru's heart quickened at the sound of that familiar voice, which never failed to bring warmth to his entire being.
“Evelyn.” He greeted warmly, turning to face the woman with a sheepish smile. He couldn't help but soften at the sight of her slight figure and kind eyes.
“I've noticed you're having difficulty connecting with (Y/N),” Evelyn remarked gently. “Give it some time, (Y/N)’s way of acting may be different from yours but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give her a chance.”
Satoru's expression darkened immediately, his eyebrow arching in response to her statement. Displeasure was written all over his face whenever the other woman was mentioned.
“What’s so great about her anyway? The only thing she has going for her is her looks. She is difficult to work with.”
“There’s a reason she’s here working with us. Give her time to warm up to us.”
Satoru scoffed, muttering under his breath. “If that’s even possible.”
Evelyn chuckled softly, shaking her head and gently squeezing Satoru’s shoulder in a comforting gesture. “Trust me on this one. This film will be a hit. After all, we all have been working hard to get here. Let's not get discouraged.”
Satoru glanced back at her, unable to suppress a small smile as his guard softened. Unlike (Y/N), Satoru had been acquainted with Evelyn for quite some time. Evelyn had been his coworker on the comedy series Can I Hold You Tonight? Although she had started as a mere background character, Satoru had noticed her right away, and they eventually became friends.
During this period, Satoru faced numerous challenges. His father, a powerful and influential man, wanted to cancel the show to coerce Satoru into abandoning his acting career and returning to work at the family company. His father's clout was such that he could dismantle Satoru's dreams with a mere flick of his fingers. Evelyn was one of the few who stood by him, frequently visiting his apartment to check on him, offering her unwavering support.
Just when Satoru thought his acting career was over, he received a call for a leading role in a movie directed by a famous filmmaker—someone whose work Satoru had admired since his youth. The film's popularity and the fortune Satoru amassed forced his father to retreat, choosing to maintain his reputation intact rather than openly oppose his son's now flourishing career. With Evelyn's support and his newfound success, Satoru was able to continue pursuing his passion without further interference.
As for Evelyn, she finally received the recognition she deserved for her talent, earning the title of Hollywood's Sweetheart. Satoru couldn't have been prouder of his friend. It wasn't just her beauty that helped her stand out—her long, blonde locks, her earthly hues, and her angelic features—it was also her passion for acting, her tireless work ethic, her kindness, and her relentless determination to improve. In other words, Satoru was hopelessly in love with his friend, who was now his coworker for the second time.
At present, they were rehearsing some minor scenes and (Y/N) was the first to leave as soon as the work was done. Typical of her.
“You think you can do it?” Evelyni’s voice brought him back to reality.
His features softened, a foolish smile spreading across his face. His words were sincere as he replied, “Absolutely.” He can do this for Evelyn’s sake.

The relentless blare of your alarm jolts you awake in the morning, accompanied by the sun's rays streaming through the curtains. Groaning, you lift your head from where it had been buried in the cushions of the living room's sofa. With bleary eyes, you fumble around for your phone, only to realize it's rooms away. You hadn't intended to drink that much, just enough to knock you out. Sighing, you sit up and rub your face vigorously, trying to fully rouse yourself.
As your vision cleared, you noticed it was far too early in the morning. You rose, stumbling over empty beer cans scattered across the floor.
Making your way to the bedroom, you finally silenced the annoying alarm. However, as soon as you saw the reminder on your phone, your eyes widened in panic: “Special Reunion Must Not Miss.” Today was the special reunion where new scripts would be distributed, and the director would be present. Shit, shit, shit! You rushed into the shower, dousing yourself in cold water to wash off the hangover. In this state, driving was out of the question, so you decided to call a cab.
The Awakening marks your first foray outside the romance genre. It combines elements of action with a hint of romance, presenting a new challenge for you. Action scenes are uncharted territory, though you don't anticipate them being overly difficult—unless, of course, you are asked to perform some dramatic stunt like leaping from a building during an explosion sequence. Beyond the physical challenges, adapting to this new environment poses its own hurdles, particularly navigating your interactions with Satoru Gojo. He's the rich boy who took up acting out of boredom. You have never understood what his issue is with you. You've given him no reason to dislike you. But frankly, you don't really care, as long as it doesn't affect your work. As for the rest of the crew, they're fine. You have learned to maintain a professional distance from coworkers outside of work, especially after…
Your thoughts abruptly halt as you arrive at our destination. You paid the driver and adjusted your black sunglasses before stepping out of the vehicle.
You strode into the building, your black sunglasses shielding your eyes. You were dressed in a white medium coat, sleek leather pants, and high-heeled black boots. Your confident aura naturally kept your colleagues at a respectful distance, unaware of the pounding headache from your lingering hangover that you were determined to push through without succumbing to nausea.
“Miss (Y/N).” They greeted you formally, and you somehow ended up with an authority almost on par with the director.
A staff member offered you a cup of fresh coffee, which you accepted without any intention of drinking it.
“Is the rest here?” You asked nonchalantly.
“Yes, they arrived shortly, but Director Chu hasn't arrived yet.” One of them answered.
With a nod, you moved forward, your demeanor composed despite the internal struggle with your hangover.
Arriving at the break room, to your dismay, you encountered Satoru, engrossed in his phone as he lounged against the couch. Letting out a sigh, you lifted your sunglasses momentarily before making your way to the nearest trash can to dispose of the untouched coffee.
“You know, you shouldn't throw that away.” Satoru remarked without looking up from his phone.
You turn your gaze towards his direction with a raised brow, “Excuse me?”
“It's rude to toss out something someone got for you. You should at least drink it.” He advised, his gaze still fixated on his phone screen.
You scoffed dismissively and tossed the coffee into the trash, ignoring his suggestion. Seating yourself on another couch across from him, you removed your sunglasses completely, leaned back, and closed your eyes for a brief moment, the remnants of your headache still lingering.
However, your peace didn't last long.
“You look like shit.”
“Would you mind your own business?” You retorted sharply, sitting up straight. “Do you have to be this unbearable so early in the morning?”
“Me unbearable? I’m the one being difficult?”
“Who else is acting like a smart-ass right now?”
Satoru scowled, “You try to act so professional as if you believe you're above everyone else. Yet, here you are, showing up to work with a hangover. I don’t think I am the one being difficult.” He remarked coldly, his gaze now locking onto yours.
You huffed, crossing one leg over the other. “If working with me is so difficult, why don't you just quit? I mean, you're so important, you can easily move on to another project. So why don’t you do us favor and just leave?” You challenged back, refusing to back down.
The room fell into a heavy silence as Satoru pushed his phone aside, leaning forward with a penetrating stare. “I'm not like you, constantly fleeing when things don't suit me. If anyone should leave is you. I'm not selfish enough to let everyone down just like you did.”
Your jaw tensed at his directness, his words striking a nerve. The room seemed to shrink around you as you met his intense gaze with your own, a mix of frustration and defiance swirling within you.
Before you could reply with another snarky comeback, the door swung open and Suguru along with Evelyn entered the room.
“Good morning.” Suguru greeted with his customary smile.
Regaining your composure, you offered a quiet, “Good morning.” then shifted your gaze away, propping your chin on your hand.
Evelyn approached Satoru, giving him a friendly side hug. “Good morning. Did you sleep well?” She asked, her tone warm and caring. Satoru returned her smile with a nod.
The three of them quickly engaged in conversation, leaving you out of it. Sighing, you slipped your glasses back on and pulled out your phone, feigning interest in something else.
You received a text notification, and upon opening it, you saw a message from your best friend Shoko.
Shoko [8:20 A.M.]: “Hey baby, can I come over tonight?”
Groaning inwardly, you felt drained and not in the mood for company. After this, you planned to stay in and sleep the rest of the day.
You quickly replied.
You [8:21 A.M.]: “Does it have to be tonight?”
Her response came promptly, assertive as ever.
Shoko [8:22 A.M.]: “Yes, and I will not take no for an answer.”
Goddamnit, Shoko.
You [8:23 A.M.]: “Alright, fine. Come over after 7. I can’t believe you thought today was a good idea to come over.”
Shoko [8:24 A.M.]: “Why can't I come over? Are you expecting company? Don't tell me you're hooking up with your co-star! I always suspected you had a thing for him! You sly fox!”
You paused at Shoko’s last message, glaring at the words as she was present.
You [8:27 A.M.]: “You're disgusting. As if I would ever hook up with that jerk.”
Shoko [8:28 A.M.]: “He’s Gojo Satoru. Who wouldn’t want to hook up with him?”
You [8:27 A.M.]: “You’re giving him way too much credit.”
As the door swung open for the second time, all eyes turned towards Director Chu as he entered the room. A man in his 50s, Director Chu carried an aura of respect and authority. He was known for his approachable demeanor, listening to everyone's input, and adeptly finding solutions. Kind yet firm when necessary, he embodied the ideal director that any crew would admire.
“Good morning, everyone.” Director Chu greeted warmly with his characteristic kindness. “How are my stars doing today?” He asked, prompting everyone to rise from their seats in acknowledgment of his presence.
Once the four of you rejoined the rest of the crew on set, Director Chu took charge, addressing the gathered team.
“As all of you know, I've asked for your presence today on your day off so that we can quickly integrate the new changes that have been made. While these changes may seem minor, they are not to be dismissed lightly.” He said before gestured for a member to hand him one of the freshly printed scripts before continuing, “This will be the new script, and I expect each of you to read it carefully and study it thoroughly. If anyone has any concerns or complaints, please address them directly to me so that we can resolve them promptly. Now, each of you will receive a copy of the script. I want you to take this time to discuss it with your teammates.”
Amidst the distribution of scripts, you and Satoru sat side by side, both being the protagonists in the production, striving to maintain professionalism despite any underlying tensions. You wouldn't want to trouble Director Chu, who already had enough on his plate. Patiently, you waited for your script, sipping from a bottle of water—the only thing your unsettled stomach could handle.
Satoru handed you a copy, and you began flipping through its pages. Initially, the changes seemed minor, as Director Chu had mentioned, nothing to complain about. Just as you were preparing to close the script, your eyes caught the new title of Scene 20. You have studied this scene before. It described a simple scenario: the protagonists celebrating a victory with drinks, culminating in a heated kiss.
As you read further, the realization hit you, causing you to inhale sharply and cough, drawing the attention of those around you. Placing the script on your lap, you reassured them with a raspy voice, “I'm fine.”
This can't be happening. You thought to yourself, grappling with the script's contents. This is more than a kiss! This is not just a minor change.
Explicit scenes weren't new to you, but the intensity described—being slammed against a wall, thrown across the bed—was unsettling, especially with Satoru as your co-star. “Who wrote this?” You muttered under your breath.
“(Y/N), are you alright? Is there something in the script we need to address?” Director Chu's voice cut through your internal crisis, prompting you to sit up straight and compose yourself.
“Not at all. I do not have any issues with the script so far.” You replied, forcing a calm tone despite the turmoil within.
Director Chu nodded understandingly and returned to addressing the rest of the crew. As everyone's attention shifted away, you buried your face in your hands, grappling with the discomfort and uncertainty about how to navigate the upcoming scenes with Satoru.
“Believe I am not thrilled to see you half-naked.”
You slowly lifted your head from your hands, meeting Satoru's gaze. “Is that supposed to comfort me?”
He let out a bitter laugh, “Who said anything about comforting you? It's just one scene. Stop acting like the world is ending.”
“If it’s you, yes, I guess it's kind of the end for me.” You shot back, unable to contain the frustration building inside you.
“You're so funny. You should have been a comedian instead of an actress.” Satoru quipped sarcastically, a tight-lipped smile playing on his lips as he looked down at you.
“I'm not thrilled either to kiss you. Who would even want to kiss you and endure your stinking breath?” You shot back in a hushed tone, fixing him with a glare.
“Excuse me?” Satoru retorted sharply with a raised tone. “You don't have the right to talk. You're the one who showed up here reeking of alcohol.”
“Shut up before anyone hears us!” You hissed through gritted teeth, glancing around to ensure no one overheard.
You were doomed. Completely doomed. Why did this bother you so much? You despised how much you were letting this consume you. It’s just Satoru, after all! And besides, the jerk was right about one thing—it’s only a single scene. A scene that might last, what, five or six minutes? You had been doing well in your career before working with Satoru. How could a brief, suggestive scene with a pompous rich boy you couldn’t stand fluster you so much?
Get it together, (Y/N)! How old are you, fifteen? You couldn’t let him step all over you. You cannot let him step all over you. You were a consummate professional, and you would prove it by not letting him see that he had any effect on you.
“That’s a wrap for today. Thank you all for coming!” Director Chu announced, bringing the meeting to a close. It was around 1 P.M., and you calculated you had just enough time to catch up on sleep before Shoko arrived at your apartment. Standing outside the building, lost in thoughts of the impending rest, you were called out. It was Suguru, approaching you with a warm smile.
“Hey. We were about to grab lunch, do you want to join us?” Suguru's invitation caught you off guard. Us? Glancing behind him, you saw Evelyn's arm draped around Satoru, their familiarity bordering on the excessive. You couldn't help but wonder why Suguru chose to hang out with these two. Wasn't it bad enough being a third wheel? Perhaps it was because you had overheard Satoru and Suguru discussing their shared interests they eventually found common ground. It’s the first time Suguru asked you for lunch, and now you are hesitant to reject his offer. Despite your reservations, Suguru had always approached you with kindness, respecting your boundaries. Unlike others.
“I…” you started tentatively, searching for the right words, “I appreciate the offer, but I've already made plans.”
Suguru's smile remained warm and understanding despite your refusal. “No problem at all. Maybe next time then?” His tone was genuinely kind as he turned to leave,
You nodded softly, a slight pang of guilt tugging at you for turning down Suguru's invitation. It was rare for someone to extend such a friendly gesture to you, considering your heated dynamics with Satoru.
Then your phone buzzed, signaling a new message had arrived. Retrieving it from your pocket, you saw Shoko had sent another message.
Shoko [1:15 P.M.]: “Hey, forget what I said earlier. Are you really okay for me to come over? Why did you drink so much anyway?”
You [1:16 P.M.]: “Nothing to worry about. Right now I'm feeling shitty for other reasons.”
Shoko [1:17 P.M.]: “Oh? What's going on now?”
You hesitated briefly before typing out your thoughts.
You [1:18 P.M.]: “There's this coworker of mine who has been really nice to me since day one, and I feel guilty for turning down his offer earlier. What should I do?”
Shoko [1:19 P.M.]: “You should accept his offer, obviously.”
You paused, fingers hovering over the keyboard, contemplating her advice. It felt like Shoko could read your mind when her next message popped up.
Shoko [1:19 P.M.]: “I know your last project wasn't the best experience, but not every workplace will be the same. It's time to let go of the past, dear. Why not start by accepting his offer? I'm sure you'll feel better if you do.”
She had a point. Holding onto past grievances wasn't helping. Perhaps accepting Suguru's invitation would be the first step toward forging better relationships on this new set. Maintaining your distance was only making you lonelier.
You looked over at Suguru and the rest, relieved to see they hadn't left yet. Tucking your phone away, you made your way toward them, following Shoko's advice.
“Hey, Suguru!” You called out, causing the group to pause and turn towards your direction. You approached them with a grin, now standing beside Suguru. “Is the offer still on?”
There was a moment of stunned silence among them. This was the first time you had accepted an invitation to hang out outside of work. Was this actually real?
Suguru was the first to recover, nodding eagerly, “Yes, we were just about to head out. I'm glad you're joining us.”
You caught a subtle sigh from Satoru, who kept his gaze averted. Your grin widened slightly at his discomfort. “Of course, if I am not interposing?”
Satoru felt compelled to respond, though he clearly wished you hadn't joined them. “Not at all” He replied tersely, forcing a smile that lacked any warmth. “We'd be happy to have you with us.”
Sure you do.
Evelyn chimed in next, her eyes sparkling with excitement, “I'm so glad you're finally joining us!”
You nodded appreciatively, now officially part of the group.
“You try to act so professional as if you believe you're above everyone else.” Satoru's words echoed in your mind at that moment. You never meant to intimidate anyone or create an atmosphere of fear on set; all you wanted was some distance. But now, thanks to him, everyone seemed wary of you.
Nevertheless, you couldn't resist the urge to exact a bit of revenge. It felt childish, but he deserved a taste of his own medicine. As the group started walking towards the nearest restaurant, you noticed Satoru sneak a glance back at you. In response, you pushed your sunglasses up to rest on your head and gave him a playful wink, knowing it would only aggravate him further. You are gonna pay for what you did, Satoru Gojo.

“Ladies and gentlemen, good evening and welcome to Tonight Show! I'm your host, John Colbert. Joining us tonight are two incredible personalities who need no introduction in their respective realms of talent and charisma. We are absolutely thrilled to have with us the incredible stars, Satoru Gojo and (Y/N) (L/N)!”
With that, the studio erupted in applause as both of you entered, smiling and waving graciously at the audience, dressed impeccably in your finest attire. Seated together on the show's elegant furniture, you settled in for an engaging conversation.
“Thank you for having us tonight, John.” You began, your smile radiant and genuine.
Satoru echoed your sentiment with a nod, adding, “Yes, it's a pleasure to be here. We appreciate the invitation.”
John turned to address both of you, the cameras capturing the lively atmosphere. “Absolutely, John. It's been quite a ride, I must admit.” You began, your tone reflective yet enthusiastic. “One of the most memorable moments for me was filming the action sequences. It was a new challenge, but incredibly rewarding to see it all come together on screen.”
Satoru chimed in, “For me, it was the privilege of collaborating with such a talented cast and crew. Despite the challenges we faced, the camaraderie and dedication among everyone involved were truly unmatched.”
John nodded encouragingly, his demeanor inviting further insights. “And what about the chemistry between your characters? Fans are buzzing about the on-screen dynamic. How did you both approach bringing that relationship to life?”
With a glance exchanged between you and Satoru, the anticipation in the studio palpable, you began to share the nuances of portraying characters whose chemistry drives the heart of the film.
“The chemistry between our characters flowed naturally.” You began, “We learned to understand each other nuances and reactions, finding those moments of connection that make their relationship believable and compelling on-screen.”
Satoru nodded in agreement, “Absolutely. It's about building trust and rapport with each other as actors so that when we're in character, those emotions and interactions feel genuine and authentic.”
“Thank you both for sharing with us your thoughts. It's clear how much effort and passion you've put into this project.” John stated before turning to address the live audience and the cameras.
“Just four days ago, The Awakening's trailer made its debut, and the response has been extraordinary! It's already crossed the 1 million views mark, solidifying its place as the most eagerly anticipated film of the year!”
The studio erupted into applause and cheers, affirming the enthusiasm surrounding the film.
John's energy was contagious as he continued, “For those who haven't had the chance to catch it yet, let's indulge in it once more. Let's roll the trailer!”

Mimi, if you as a writer were a genre, you’d be tragic love story :((( I love ur angsty fics, just not some rainbows and fluff stuff, tells so much of the tragedy of relationships that were doomed to fail, I live for it. <333
AHHHH OMG I would honestly cry if I had to write fluff for the rest of my life (Don’t get me wrong i love my fluff writers but I just prefer writing angst more…)
I think it’s something about being able to pour your feeling onto a fanfic and not to mention how you can make the person reading feel as if they’re in there experiencing the same pain as the reader in there. I might have a problem going on but even as a kid I would pick the sad books in the library, or now that im older I somehow still like angst over anything, I just like writing stuff that isn’t just sunshine and rainbows, I NEED ANGST 🙏🙏

Literally been reading books with rough sex for my series because let me tell you, Gojo is not soft at all in that series no that man is definitely something else. Got my toes curling just thinking about the scenes I have in mind..
When I was writing J’adore i was like, I NEED suguru in this fic. That man is such a gentleman and who wouldn’t run to him if your husband is treating you bad, not to mention having two sexy men fighting for you and them being besties, literally have my heart already.
Im so sad you got upset about my FY series! Hopefully i can make it up with my other series although FY held a special place in all of out hearts 😭💔 Sending love back!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
