Being both a Poolverine AND a Sambucky shipper, during the time leading to Avengers Doomsday, is twice as agonizing.

I sincerely hope neither Deadpool nor Wolverine will be in it, first of all because I don’t want them to die or even just be separated, after all Ryan and Hugh did to create this team. There's no Deadpool without Wolverine, nor Wolverine without Deadpool. Period.

when their 5th anniversary rolls around, Logan worries a bit about a meaningful gift for Wade. weapons, food, experience; check on all of that from previous years. last year he got Wade a collectible for his Hello Kitty collection. but what can you gift a practically immortal to really convey the depth of your devotion to them? until Logan gets an idea. a bit of internet research later, and he has a satisfied smile on his face.

the day comes and Logan hands Wade an envelope. Wade raises an eyebrow; maybe he lowkey hoped for a (physically) bigger gift. he pulls out the certificate, brows drawn.

'it's a star,' Logan explains. 'a stair with your name. it'll be there as long we live, watching over us. a symbol for our love. forever.'

Wade meets Logan's gaze with damp eyes. Logan found something that would last for as long as them.

he smiles through tears and then pulls Logan in for a kiss (and mind and dick blowing sex later)
