i’m neutral to pro-ship in general. don’t necessarily partake, but am learning to understand separation between media and irl.

so with that, when it comes to media based on real events, is there a line to be drawn there?

for example, dahmer. based on jeffrey dahmer. if people are cosplaying, fan fiction, etc but it’s based on the show rather than the actual person, is it wrong?
