So I watched all 13 episodes of the 2004 WB show no one's ever heard of called The Mountain, mostly to feed my Mitch Pileggi obsession, but also because I'm a sucker for teen dramas.

It wasn't great lol, but it was certainly entertaining in a teen drama way, and Mitch got progressively hotter as the season went on (AKA he grew his beard).

Pretty much none of the character arcs wrapped the way I wanted them to, and there were a ton of loose ends that I'm sure they were planning for S2 if they hadn't been canceled. HOWEVER the worst offender of all is dropping this scene in the pilot and then completely failing to deliver a juicy enemies-to-lovers arc???

Gennie, after all these years you still don't know me. I hope we can remedy that. Why? I guess I'm just an old romantic.
