hi thinking about pete white again. i love how he's just like the WORST like the most cowardly, selfish, lazy, self centered man on the planet and it doesn't even matter bc it's venture bros. in any other show he'd be cast as this master manipulator, scrounger, leeching off billy and anyone around him, a flat cartoon villain but bc it's venture bros he's treated like an actual person ? he definitely has flaws and the show absolutely acknowledges them, but it does not treat him as a villian. it kindof follows the whole venture bros thing of evil people still being deeply human, like with the monarch and sg. hatred. i just love how even though pete is AWFUL he's still a person, he's not reduced to his flaws.
