The first time that I stepped in to this school... I was so amazed, not just only because of the facilities but for the aura of the environment. It was quiet and you can only hear the birds singing on the trees, the green environment, the sunflowers on the rotonda, and the beautiful buildings.

At first I was afraid to enter this school and I thought that I will make a big adjustment because it was my first time to enter the University and I will encounter different persons and big persons.

But as time passes by I enjoyed my company, I did not regret that I entered to this school because my classmates became my friends and turned into my family and my teachers became my second parents because they taught us a lot of things and I am so thankful to them because they contribute many things and lesson that help us to become a better person.

And to my classmates thankyou for being part of my SHS life I know that we only have two weeks left being together. Time passes by so fast and if I reminisce our memories together I can say that it was all worth it. 11 HUMSS PM2... at first I was afraid to enter our room but now I am afraid to leave this room. I am really thankful and blessed to have you all.

A Bite of Yum.

Today, there are so many delicious foods available to please our taste buds. I sometimes wonder how the life was in the past when there was no easy access to food and with no varieties like we have now. The world is full of so many delicious foods.

If I really had a wish I would have finished up all the food available throughout the world but I can’t. Therefore I limit myself to Pizza. Who doesn’t like pizza? Pizza is my favorite food of all.

The pizza itself looks so yummy, crispy and so cheesy. There is no better feeling in the world than a warm pizza box on your lap. My love for Pizza is very high. I am always hungry for pizza, be it any time of the day.

There are many varieties of pizza available in the market like Pizza burger, Pizza cake etc. I love all of them, only on one thing that it should have is an extra cheese on it. Cheese is the secret ingredient of any food it makes any food taste yummy. On every occasion, I celebrate it with pizza style be it, mom’s, dad’s, brother’s or friends birthday, pizza is necessary. We also have competitions with each other of who finishes the pizza first.

There are times when I get scolded for having pizza all the time because anything in excess causes harms to our health but a pizza lover will always be a pizza lover. There is something between me and pizza the bond which cannot be broken. My love for my pizzas is eternal and nobody on this earth could ever take this from me until I die.

The Daily Routine Of My Life

For me, life is an interesting adventure worth living. I enjoy every bit of my life and enjoy things around me such as, beautiful landscape, budding flowers, wonders of science seen in different forms, city life, and the leisure of free time. Though much of my daily life is routine based, yet the variety of daily existence make my daily life an exciting adventure.

My day begins at 9 a.m. my mother or sometimes my granny wakes me up with a cup of milk, scrambled egg, hotdog, and rice after breakfast I will do my mornings duties, I will fix myself and my things and get ready to go in school I spend most of my time in school hence my daily life follows a very simple routine it is more or less the same except on Sunday.

My class end at 8 o' clock p.m. and after school I will go directly to our house and do my school works after doing my tasks my family and I will eat dinner together, dinner will serve as our family bonding during weekdays after dinner it is going to be my leisure time, I will surf to the internet and open my social media accounts sometimes I watch movies if I don't have any tasks or schoolworks to do. Mostly I spend my extra time in learning different songs to play on a guitar and other instruments and during long weekends I do paintings and sketching stuffs because this is my hobby, I really love music and arts.

During Sunday and Wednesday I always go to gym with my bestfriend because I want to be fit and healthy we enjoyed doing it that's why it is also part of my routine and during Sunday it is my busy and happy day because there are lot of things to do but I enjoy what am I doing. Sunday is our family day I woke up early to wash my clothes, do my schoolworks and go to gym after some errands I am going to church with my family and eat outside or sometimes we do shopping. During my free day I always do what I love so I go to shoots because I really want to be a model someday and I realize that if you dream on something you need to start pusuing it now do not waste your time on doing useless thing because life is short.

Honestly speaking, boredom is a word which is missing in my dictionary of life. Life is too precious to be idled away in lethargic existence and in useless ventures. My daily routine is jam-packed with actions and activities and keeps me and my mind busy all the time. The adventures of daily life make it interesting and an exciting journey.

Together we stand, divided we fall.

My community is my family

"No man is an island" I completely agree with the statement. No matter how individualistic a man thinks he is, there is no way for him not to have some effect and interaction with other people. We need each other to better meet our daily needs and I think all of us need a certain person whom we are so comfortable to share our life with and to accompany us in good times and in bad times. That's why we need a "Community".

First and foremost, community is not just about place, a building, or an organization it is about the people we live and work with. I can proudly say that "My community is my family." Why? Because they are the one I can work and live with, the one that taught me many things, the one that helps me to be a better person, the one that gives me everything that I need, the one that helps me to shape up my personality as an individual the one that gives me life lessons, and the one that shows love and care for me.

My community has done so much for me. Observing others behaviors lets one realize and understand more about different kinds of people. Seeing how certain others act or react to situations lets us see more perspective and hopefully appreciate their point of view. It is important to be part of communities for much of the same reason. When you are part of a group, you understand and compromise with the other members of the group. Discussing issues involving the community helps to lead to solutions. Talking things through with other people improves social skills as well as relationships among them.

Knowing how people feel about certain issues let you know more about that person, and in turn, you learn more about yourself. Hearing what other people have to say may sway your own opinions about something.

Giving back to my community is the least I could do for what all it has done for me. Living in my community has made me the person I am today.

My community is a rather small one, and all the people in it know everyone and greet each other with open arms and kind hearts. Growing up in this community has taught me how to be a loving, caring, and knowledgeable person. I feel that it is important to give back to my community because of everything it has done for me; whether it's the people in the community or the community as a whole. I need to give back what was given to me. The first way that I would start to give back in my community is to get along with all the different people that live in our community. Yes, each of us have differences and we are all not the same but we need to look at each other equally we need to not let religion separate us. Also, helping the homeless and poor people that we see everywhere helping them with basic needs of food and shelter, recycling is not so popular in our community but we need to start doing it. All the littering, helping pick up litter even if we don’t know who threw it just picking it up helps and also looks nicer and lastly, a very important way to take pride in our b is to save our old trees, they are always working to help us by improving the air quality by trapping dust.

At last, we don’t realize it but all these little things would help our community and it doesn’t require too much of our time. I was taught to appreciate what I have in my life all be looked at equally. We tend to look at the little pictures and problems in life and don’t see the big picture and the big problems in our community. The more we can do for our community the less we need to rely on outsiders. We need to work together. I love the community that I live in and I am proud of it. I take pride in it and I just hope that everyone feels the way I do. We can change for the better. Our community is our future so let’s move forward. My community is my pride and also my family.

Guro ko, bayani ko, 

Pagpupugay sa aking mahal na bayani

Ang pagiging isang guro ay hindi ganoon kadali gaya ng iniisip ng karamihan. Sa likod ng bawat pisara ay mga patak ng pawis at luha ang makikita. Sa bawat aklat na binubuklat ay may nakatagong pait at saya na pinagdadaanan. Sa bawat leksyon na itinuturo nakatago ang isang malaking butil ng karunungan.

Sila na may mabababang sahod ngunit matataas na prinsipyo sa buhay. Sila na walang hinangad kundi ang matuto ang mga mag-aaral. Sila na itinuturing na pangalawang magulang sa paaralan. Sila na bumubuo ng ating pagkatao bilang mga mag-aaral. Sila na ang binubuno ay araw at gabi maihanda lang ang aralin. Sila na itinuturing na bayani ng bayan. Sila ang mga natatanging guro na handing maglikod para sa bayan.

Ngunit, taas-noo akong nagpupugay sa aking mga guro na hindi kailanman sumuko sa laban ng buhay maturuan lamang ang mga mag-aaral na uhaw sa kaalaman.

Saludo ako sa mga guro na kahit sa baba ng sahod na kanilang nakukuha sa gobyero ay nananatili silang matatag na guro. Lubos akong nagpupugay sa mga gurong kahit harangan man ng kalbaryo sa buhay ay handa pa ring magbahagi ng nalalaman. Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga guro na nagbabahagi ng kani-kanilang buhay bilang daan sa pagbibigay inspirasyon sa mga mag-aaral.

Ang salitang salamat ay hindi sapat upang masuklian naming ang lahat ng inyong pagpapagod, pagsasakrispisyo, at paghihirap maibigay lang ang mga butil ng karunungan. Kaya’t marapat lamang na magbigay-pugay sa mga totoong bayani ng lipunan na walang hinihinging kapalit sa kanilang tunay na serbisyo para sa bayan.

Muli, salamat mam at sir. Ang inyong dedikasyon at pagpupunyagi matuto lang kami ay walang kapantay.

My Dearest Forebears

Say “I love you” before it’s too late...

Grandparents are fun to be around. Not only do they spill pearls of wisdom but also fill our lives with abundance of love and care. The feeling of being around them cannot be described through words. The love and affection shed by my grandparents are unmatched.

Throughout the years, my grandparents have been a very important part of my life. They have taught me lessons, been supportive and have been big role models. They have never stopped showing their love and continually inspire me. So, for that, I will thank them.

The love that they give to me is priceless that’s why I am very thankful to have them in my life. No one can take place in the heart, which special place they hold in our heart. Most of us have fond memories of spending our childhood days with our grandparents. While some of us have spent our after school times with our grandchildren, some had the opportunity to be with them only in the holidays.

Grandparents have magnanimous love for their grandchildren and pamper them a lot. This is the time when they are free from other responsibilities and can afford to play their grandchildren and wheedle them with love. A grandparent’s presence in a child’s life gives him the human sense that he may have lacked otherwise.

The tales that these elderly tell at the bed time to their grandchildren helps them learn a lot about life and also develops their interest in social events and activities. Many children learn the social values and also virtues like honesty, kindness, gratitude, and faith.

Grandparents with their kind advice and useful tips give a direction to their life and children developer better insight into their lives in future. Grandparents also make up for the time that parents fail to provide to their children due to busy schedules and pile of responsibilities and duties. Above all, the blessings and the wishes of the grandparents inspire the children who feel morally boosted and supported to take up the tougher challenges or tasks in life.

So thank you for showing me what love is. You give me so much love with everything that i have done in life. Thank you for never turning me down when I need you, and giving me the best advice. Showing me to do the right things and putting me down the right path. I know that anything do you guys are always right there behind me.

Upgraded Individuals

I saw my friends post on twitter and it says here that “Our generation is gonna be the first to tell the story of Netflix and chill instead of the birds and bees and I think it’s beautiful.”

Millennials are having a positive impact on our culture, workplace and government and we should recognize them for their efforts and support them so they are able to help revive the economy and build a better world.

MILLENIAL. You may have seen it in social media or heard it on TV. You’re puzzled, clueless as to what this word means.

Millennials are probably one of the smartest generations to exist, but are we really? As a Millennial I do think that we are smart. I also think that the reason we are so smart is because of the access we have to the internet. The internet has so much information that if you look something up you can have it within seconds. The information on the internet was passed down from many people before us so millennials actually just got the information from earlier generations. Millennials may be smart but we still have so much to learn.

“You are the future.” It seems like the right message. I’ve heard politicians give this speech to groups of high school students. I’ve heard it from parents speaking to their teenagers. But my generation is not the future. We are the present, and we’re already making a major impact.

Think about the twenty-eight year old who created and runs the largest social network in the world.

In our own perception, we are the most global generation. We can be in touch with our peers almost anywhere in the world with just one click. We are the most connected generation. We are also the most aware of our connectedness and global reach. Our formative years have taught us that resilience and adaptability are essential for survival.

Escapade

Gusto mo bang sumama sa aking palalakbay?                                                   

Madami dami narin akong napuntahang lugar dito sa Pilipinas sapagkat mula pagkabata ay hilig ko na ang maglakbay sa ibat-ibang lugar kaya naman tinutupad ng aking mga magulang ang aking pangarap at ako naman ay sobrang nagpapasalamat sa kanila. Sa aking mga nagging paglalakbay ay madami akong natutunan, nakuhang aral at natuklasang mga nagong kaalaman. Napapakasarap maglakbay sapagkat kasabay ng pagkadagdag ng iyong kaalaman ay natutuklasan mo rin ang iyong sarili sa paglalakbay. 

Ang mga lugar na aking napuntahan ditto sa ating bansa ay ang La Union, Ilocos, Baguio, Tarlac, Cagayan, Tuguegarao, Pampanga, Batangas, Laguna, Zambales, Bataan, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Tagaytay, Boracay, at Cebu. Sa aking mga nagging paglalakbay masasabi kong tunay ngang kay ganda ng bansang Pilipinas at ipinagmamalaki ko ang mga napakagandang destinasyon sa ating bansa. Ang aking pinaka huling napuntahan ay ang Cebu at para sa akin ay ito ang pinaka maganda dahil napakadaming destinasyon at napakakulay hindi lamang ng lugar ngunit pati ang pagtanggap ng mga tao dito.  Masasabi ngang isang pinakamaganda at pinakamasayang gawin ng tao sa kanyang buhay ay ang maglakbay sa ibat ibang panig ng mundo, hindi lamang dapat umiikot ang buhay ng tao sa kung saan ang kanyang nakasanayan at nakalakihan marapat lamang na tumuklas tayo ng bagong kaalaman at bagong karanasan sa paglalakbay. Isa narin ito sa magiging daan upang mas lalo mong makilala ang iyong sarili, ang iyong mga hilig at ang iyong kagustuhan. Ngunit kung ako ang papapiliin ay mas gugustuhin kong maglakbay kasama ang mga mahal ko sa buhay kaysa ang maglakbay ng mag isa dahil sa pamamagitan nito nakakabuo tayo ng mga magaganda't masasayang ala-ala kasama sila lalong lalo na ang ating mga magulang, bilang isang kabataan sa henerasyon ngayon masasabi kong kaunti na lamang ang ating oras upang makasalamuha natin ang ating mga magulang o kung kaya naman minsan ay kasama nga natin sila ngunit wala naman ang atensyon sa isa't isa dahil narin sa mga makabagong teknolohiya kaya naman kung mayroon tayong pagkakataong maglakbay kasama sila ay huwag na huwag na natin itong sasayangin dahil ito ang isa sa magiging daan upang makabuo tayo ng masasayang ala-ala kasama sila.

Love at FURst sight.

George Graham Vest once said, “The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his pet.”

I do believe in that, there are many varieties of love in this world. There is the unconditional love of a parent, the joyful love of a friend, and the romantic love shared between couples. Most people will experience one, if not all three of these in their lifetime. For me the other love that is always present in our lives is the everlasting love of our pets. They can love us endlessly, without any limitations or boundaries. Their love doesn't expecting love in return. They give and does not demand to be given anything in return. It is the utmost unrestricted and selfless love that exists in this world.

Our pets can distinguish our mood from simply being around us, they are aware of all of our emotions, even though we do not have to utter a word for them to be able to acknowledge that something is bothering us.

Our pets will stay to the one that they love whatever mood that we have. They are the one who knows our heart, and the one who loves us for who we are.

They are the one that will die to save us, the one who will be by our side no matter what the circumstances, the one who will never question to us and always listen, the one who will always loves us, and the one who can gives us the most terrifying heartbreak in our lives. To my beloved frankie... I miss you. I miss the day that we are very excited to see each other that's why I always went back home early from school. And that was 5 years ago, every part of my heart and soul believes in my furry best friend that walks on four legs, my dog who will love me forever more, my hero, my companion, my joy.

MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE WEEK

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. Why? Because Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week and this is our family and church that's why I always feel blessed and happy every Sunday. This is my relaxation day even though this is my busy day I enjoyed it.
