I love your work! How long does it generally take you to finish a piece!?

Generally about 1-2 months for personal work. I have to squeeze things in 1-3 hours at a time after I get home from work. Also I'm just slow to begin with.

Wow the detail is so beautiful on your piece for strahdzine! How long did it take you?

idk probably like 1.5-2 months when you add up all the time. I work full time so I have to squeeze personal art into the weekends and few hours I have before bed. Also I'm slow.

Hello! I just wanted to say thank you for always sharing your amazing works with us! I'm also an artist in the industry but for the sake of staying employed most of my work involves drawing in styles that isn't my personal one. I still love my work of course but sometimes I do miss painting my way. Your works are very similar in style and process to mine, and it makes me feel motivated looking through your gallery because it reminds me why I wanted to work in the industry in the first place. I just really want to thank you for that because that feeling has been rather sparse recently given the way the industry is going and any little inspiration to remain true to yourself is very precious ❤️

Thanks for the kind words!  I've often felt the same way you do about my own professional work.  I also used to do a pretty wide range of illustration and concept work that was very much not at all like any of my personal art.  Honestly I was pretty depressed by a lot of the work I was doing during that point in my life and one of the few things that kept me motivated was my own personal projects.

I know times are tough but I hope you manage to find the time to do personal projects. Maybe I'm the odd one out but most of my favorite illustrations are other people's personal projects. Be weird the weird stuff is often the best stuff.

Also every time I get a nice message like this I get super motivated to make more art so thanks for also being an inspiration to me <3

Work is picking up again so idk when I'll be back. Here's some concept stuff I've been mulling over. Gave Vlad and Godfrey some black flame themed costumes. Also on an unrelated note.
