In the vibrant streets of Roppongi, Tokyo of 1991, I chanced upon a closed antique store. Amongst the artifacts, a glimmer of color beckoned me closer—a pack of Hanafuda cards, delicately arranged and seemingly untouched by time. Their vibrant hues whispered tales of forgotten games and shared laughter. With curiosity coursing through my veins, I yearned to hold them, to unlock the mysteries they held within.
But fate had different plans. The store remained locked, its owner absent, leaving the Hanafuda cards behind the windowpane, longing for a new hand to set them free. In that moment, I felt a twinge of longing, a connection to a world I could only glimpse but never touch.
In the realm of what-ifs, those Hanafuda cards remain suspended in time—a symbol of unfulfilled possibilities and the allure of what might have been. As I continue to wander through the streets of life, I carry with me the image of those cards, a reminder to seize the opportunities that unfold before me and to cherish the beauty that reveals itself in unexpected places.

I've been suffering from a Mandela effect of my own, I legit remember a live action Jessica Drew show from the 70s. Only to find out I've blended Wonderwoman with the animated Spiderwoman show, but in memorium of my false memory

Todays decisions have forever consequences,  The consequences of war can be devastating and far-reaching, impacting not only the countries involved but also the world at large. The Vietnam and Korean conflicts are prime examples of this. The Vietnam War resulted in the loss of millions of lives, both military and civilian, and caused significant environmental damage. It also led to widespread social unrest and political polarization in the United States. The Korean War similarly caused immense human suffering and resulted in the division of the Korean Peninsula into North and South, a division that continues to this day. Both conflicts had long-lasting impacts on the political, economic, and social landscapes of the regions, leaving scars that have yet to fully heal. The Gulf War and Iraq War had devastating human costs. The Gulf War resulted in the loss of many lives, both military and civilian, and caused extensive damage to Iraq's infrastructure. Economic sanctions imposed on Iraq had a devastating impact on the country's economy and society. The Iraq War led to the displacement of millions of people and the destruction of infrastructure. Both wars resulted in significant loss of life and long-lasting effects on the physical and mental health of people impacted by the wars. The human costs of these conflicts have been immense and continue to be felt to this day. Have you seen your father stare into space when a plane flies overhead? the tightness in his knuckles at the grocery store because the cashier looks familiar? There is no reason for this, we failed the next generations by allowing these things to happen,  bullets bodies and broken minds are not the only way to solve a conflict, and our politicians and leaders know this but they do nothing. Remove them all.
