Gratsu headcanon 9

Since Natsu is almost always hungry and loves eating (a lot), Gray asked Mira if she could teach him a bit of cooking. He had some cooking skills before, but wanted to get better so he could make delicious food for Natsu. Natsu never found out about it, but every time he compliments Gray about his cooking, Gray thinks back at the lessons and feels proud.

Natsu frequently has nightmares; mostly about losing the people he’s very close to. So whenever he sleeps with Gray and Gray notices Natsu has a nightmare, Gray cuddles up to him that little bit tighter of holds his hand or something small in summer so Natsu knows he has someone by his side and that everything is okay. This makes him feel safe and protected.

When Natsu and Graty had been together for a while, Natsu secretly did a lot of quests to gather money to pay Gajeel to make promise rings for Gray and him. They were simple golden rings with matching heart pieces on them. Gray’s ring had a red heart on it while Natsu’s ring has a blue one.

Gratsu Headcannon 6

That both Gray and Natsu can sing. Natsu normally will sing in the shower and in the house or literally anywhere. Basically he doesn't really care who hears him [He knows he can sing and flaunts it ;) ]. Gray on the other hand doesn't like to sing around others, he normally just harmonizes with Natsu especially when they are in the shower together.

added bonus: In bed Natsu moans are close to heavenly for Gray to hear because he has such a lovely singing voice.

Gratsu headcanon 5

When Natsu first discovered his feelings for Gray, he was hesitant to even admit those feelings to himself. Mostly because because he had always fought with Gray, Happy never really liked the ice mage either.

And one of the most important things for Natsu when looking for a relationship or entering one, is the fact wether Happy likes the person he likes or not. He would have a hard time getting into a relationship whenever Happy doesn’t really like the person he would be dating.

So when he finally accepts his feeling for himself and tells it to Happy, the exceed is very chill about it and says that Natsu shouldn’t care about what he thinks so much and should just follow his heart.

But when Natsu hooks up with Gray, he can’t help but notice how Happy never goes to Gray when he needs something and would just wait until he can ask Natsu, and just bicker an awful lot throughout the day.

Natsu feels bad about this and talks about it with both Gray and Happy. They both understand how the dragon slayer feels and try their best to become best buddies.

At first this would give a whole lot of awkward and forced friendlyness between the two of them; but after they were forced to spend the weekend together because Natsu was called out for a quest, they really become good friends and Natsu immediatelly gets a lot happier too.

Since Natsu was ‘left’ by so many people in his youth (Igneel, Lisanna, Gildarts, ...) he developed trust issues. So at first, he was scared to become close to Gray because he was scared that Gray would leave him too if they got too close.

Eventually, it was Gray who took the first step by confessing, only to be turned down by Natsu. They did some talking later, and Natsu told Gray about his problem with getting close to people. Gray understood, having gone through a lot like that too; and they hook up a little bit later.

While Natsu is very dominant and wild in his fighting, he’s actually pretty submissive in bed and likes bottoming.

But not because he’s a ‘cute little uke ™ ‘, he just likes the feel of it. 

Once, Gray dared to call him his little submissive uke; so Natsu responded by getting on top and riding Gray’s brains out till the ice mage begged him to stop.

Natsu has developed a major praise kink over the years of always being told what he was doing wrong and when Gray and Natsu first started dating, Gray found out about this when he complimented Natsu for a small thing. Natsu’s reaction was so amazing to Gray that he kept teasing the pinket with it.

He knows that just telling him what he’s done good will get him aroused at some points so he uses it to his advantage, or just to tease Natsu in the guild.

Gratsu headcanon 1

Their first date was a day out to the zoo. Happy joined them because Natsu was a little nervous and took Happy with him. 

Natsu and Happy were both excited all day and paid little to no attention to Gray. When they were walking outside, Gray looked the happiest of them all and Natsu excused himself for not paying attention to Gray. But Gray shook his head and said that that was the reason for taking Natsu to the zoo in the first place; he just wanted to see Natsu happy all day.
