Honestly, same.

Each time a kidnapping happens I get more and more tired of it. Don't get me wrong, it gives some pretty good angst, fanart and imagery etc. But also, it's very predictable and it just feels repetitive. I know it's a immersive way to justify a players abscence, but I feel it shouldn't be always like this.

I think that this whole thing of kidnapping/imprisoning is making the plot needlessly convoluted, and making it harder to track (and I'm not talking about the fans, but the admins) I feel like people should just "suddenly vanish/hibernate" again.

I actually get surprised people still get excited over these, tbh

When the kidnappings first happened they were a big deal, but now? It just feels like "oh, another one". It just doesn't have the same sparkle.

And, about the puzzles often leading to nowhere, that kinda scares me. Because it reeks of "we didn't really plan this ahead". I feel like a far better alternative is to build things and let players find out themselves. Y'know, environmental storytelling?

Of course, this is kinda of a problem since without the eggs and leads the players do get a bit lost. But I feel like doing seemingly random puzzles and plotlines isn't the way. Thankfully, some players do seem like they want to do their own independent rp, like Forever and Bad.

Now, this might just be my anxiety brain talking, but I really do wonder if the admins actually have a "set storyline with rules and objectives"* or if they're making shit up as they ago. I really, REALLY hope it isn't the latter, because things will come crashing down at one point. Can't have a good building without a stable ground.

*By that I mean if the the admins have a plotline already established. I know that in rp much of it is improv, but you still need to be fairly consistent. I'm talking about if they already have planned things such as What Is The Federation? What Is It Hoping to Achieve? Why These People? What Are The Weird Entities Living Here? Etc

I guess that we just have to trust the process. Afterall, these Admins are really good at what they do, they know how to "write" a story, and do have a lot of passion for this project. I just hope disorganization doesn't hinder them.

as much as i like qsmp, the recent events got... really monotone? like, they all have the same exact formula

They go to coordinates

There's either a puzzle of a bunch of strong mobs

They get another ✨mysterious✨ book (usually in binary) that barely says anything because of how vague it is in details

End of the event! Everyone can go home!

Or the kidnappings are all like

Something (like a book) or Cucurucho approach them, asks them to go somewhere

They go there but, shocking twist, they get locked in a place!

They stop streaming for a while

Suddenly come back (and apparently, a lot happened behind the scenes, and we will probably never know what it exactly was!) and go back to living on the island like nothing

Like, the only thing that stood out recently was the "Federation happy pill drugs" lore arc, which was actually fresh and entertaining (even though a lot of the clues around that time, like those crypted messages on twitter and tiktok also had a complete dead end with no closure to them)

Anyways ordem/qsmp fans who do you think is going to get in? We only have till Saturday to speculate, afterall. Please tell me your thoughts if you read all this lol!!

To remember: Both Forever and Baghera are confirmed, so that only leaves 3 people.

Also, it's confirmed there'll only be people that have never participated, so no Felps or Bagi.

My bets are:

-Roier

He is like the closest person to Cellbit on the server, and they're both constantly together in other games and on Twitter. I think it would be weird if WASN'T on. Also CB said there'll be spanish, so it has to have at least one hispanic member.

-Quackity

I mean. It's the man himself- the one who made it all possible. But that's not all, Cellbit knows this mf can roleplay, and really well. So it's only logical.

Now these two are the ones I think that have 100% chance. The third member, I'm not so sure, so I'll write here people whom I classify as "high possibility"

-Badboyhalo

Can roleplay really well, gets very into character. Another person who Cellbit often shares lore with in the server. The only things about him joining that I'm unsure of is the generally more mature themes in ordem.

-Slime

Despite not showing up much on the server, he's also good at rp. I mean, he was the GM of a game b4 (of which Cellbit knows). I've also seen a clip of CB saying he wishes Slime logged more often cause he found Slime to be cool.

Lower chances (I just think they don't have as much probability as the other two): Fit, Etoiles, Phil. The two latter aren't as much into roleplay. As for Fit, he isn't usually roleplaying with Cellbit, so...

I kinda doubt Pac & Mike because, despite being good at rp and close friends with Cellbit, it seems there'll at 1 hispanish and 1 anglo, which doesn't leave room for 2. Unless one comes without the another, which I find a bit unlikely.

Another thing I thought I'd mention, is that I don't think there'll be anyone from the new batch of members. I know Ordem has pre-made stuff, but you can't just make up a whole game from day to night. He def planned this for a while, probably before the new members.

I really want Forever to be the one to save Phil from the bird house because it would show how their relationship grew and be poetic in a way

In the start of their relationship Forever wanted to trap Philza in a cage to force him to fell in love him, now Forever is trying to save Phil from a cage.

I just think that would be so cool
