the problem with taz balance is you first listen to it as a naive high schooler like "oh, funny dnd podcast made by those mcelroy guys i see in tumblr memes all the time! and they apparently have gay characters too! let me check this out! haha his name is taco that's so random XD" and nobody could have warned you that a decade later you'll still periodically think about lucretia and her martyr complex and be stricken with the urge to start gnawing your own limbs off

currently playing my first playthrough of pokemon platinum. currently featuring my prinplup named pippy(og) and my onix named pookie. every single pokemon must get a silly name. i have a magikarp leading my team right now so that i may one day have a gyrados named splashy! (with the exclamation mark)

listening to the adventure zone steeplechase for the first time rn and the line beef says that's along the lines of "i'm gonna stick my hand down his throat and pull out his butthole" had me shocked but also confirmed that this is the exact podcast for me still

favorite part of college marching band so far is that my college has gotten so good at marching with lights on our heads that we won an award from a rock band because of it. now we have to march with lights on our heads every year. i love light shows.

the good part of this is that you get so into band that you become a music major and the music department makes you perform a solo every semester in front of the entire department so any performance anxiety you used to have absolutely dies so everything is just fun again

being a band kid is full of such joy and whimsy except for the dreaded concerts cuz then you are so horrified on whether you'll mess the whole thing up even though you've been practicing for months but you're still utterly terrified of the idea of playing in front of a bunch of either old people or your fellow peers it depends on the time, really, if you're playing in front of your fellow peers or a bunch of old people
