Children movie review.
Hey everybody, I am writing this because a second movie that continues the Joker story is coming out soon.
I enjoyed The Joker because I thought it did a decent job of exploring the mental makeup of a person with what I believe to be schizophrenia. It took me a while to realize that he was suffering. I thought that it was multiple personality disorder. But when I was filming a second time, I realized it was schizophrenia.  The movie flips between reality and what the character perceives.                    This film shows how difficult it is for people with mental illness to fit into society.                                                          The movie starts with the person who becomes the Joker trying to get a refill on antipsychotic medication, and when he cannot obtain this refill, the film shows the Joker’s swift mental decline.                        Although the character makes a brilliant effort to fit in, he feels he cannot succeed.                                                We are also reminded that the man who becomes the first Joker takes care of his mother, a woman who is even more mentally disconnected from reality than he is. His decline begins when he loses a job because one of his coworkers gives him a gun for protection, and it slips out of his clown costume, a situation in which he is swiftly punished. I do not blame his workplace for doing this. Gun are even more dangerous in the hands of unstable individuals. Any accidental discharge of a firearm could kill someone. This city is loosely based on New York in the 1920’s. The period is always fluid. Joker likes to go out after his job. He decides to try an open mic night at a comedy club and perceives himself as hilarious. Although, in reality, none of his jokes made sense.                            On his way home, he is accosted by three young men in expensive business suits. Although he laughs at them, he is terrified for his life, and he ends up shooting them and running away.                                                                              It has to be the end when the Joker.              He makes an impassioned speech about the average person being invisible, originating from a twisted worldview.      Still, he makes a valid point because, let us face it, someone may be attractive and unbelievably intelligent or exceptionally skilled.  But,  for the majority of us, the disabled, the mentally ill, etc., we are invisible unless it is some pointless awareness month.
The most fantastic part about the movie is that it makes it easy to identify with the severely mentally ill patient much more than the average citizenof Gotham City. Just like the majority of people around the world do not notice people unless they are causing a mass killing of people or they have a severe mental breakdown. I recommend anyone who has not seen this film get out before Joker 2 comes out on October 4, 2024; this Joker inspires the man who will become Batman's Joker. You can check this movie out on HBO Max

What I remember about September 11th
When I woke up that day, I did not
know that it would be one of the most memorable days of my entire life. Things proceeded generally for a weekday and high school. Later that morning, I learned that two planes had hit the World Trade Center, and for the rest of that day, my classmates and I watched the news. We also were sent home early. When I got home, my family and I spent the rest of the day watching the news, trying to get our heads around the terrible events of that day and getting in touch with my sister, who just started her law school at the time. We eventually got through to her, knowing she was safe. My parents were greatly relieved, though still in shock, as many at that time were.
When my science teacher told us that we had been attacked, she also made indications that she had expected something like that to happen, a claim that I felt was ridiculous because I do not believe anyone expected the United States to be attacked by foreign terrorists. I think the United States had forgotten that we were just as vulnerable to being attacked by terrorists as any other country is to terrorist attack. I also believe many people thought that if we fought wars overseas, they would never reach the United States because I believe many people thought that the United States was invincible. The only positive thing to come out of September 11 was that the United States was shaken out of its complacency because we then learned that the next it was just as vulnerable as any other country to terrorists.
I also believe that many people’s drive to fight terrorism aggressively has faded along with some of the memories as time has passed. I also think that people thought the threat was over. Just as the adage goes, if you cut off the snake's head, two heads will grow in its place, which is what I think happened when we "cut" Osama bin Laden. What people fail to realize is that Al Qaeda gave birth to many snakes, and we must always be vigilant lest one of those snakes bite us.
I do think the war on terrorism has been largely successful in disrupting terrorist networks, but I do think it is worth noting that we should never stop being vigilant because we don’t know where the next terrorist attack could come from. It took me a long time to even understand that the United States had been caught by surprise. Again, I am satisfied that the United States has been shaken out of its complacency and that we are more prepared than ever before for a terrorist attack. And I think it’s essential that we never forget the lives of those we lost that day because they are the reason more than any other that we started the war on terrorism.
A battle will never truly end because people always wish to make their point through fear. We must always be prepared to fight against that, whether the terrorists are foreign or homegrown. In short, I do believe the war on terrorism has been largely successful in achieving the objectives we set, but we can never afford to be caught off guard, so it's essential we actively be alert. From my memories at school of that day to the families of the victims, we must never forget this day. Feel free to comment on any of your memories of September 11th.

The dining establishments I visited during my annual trip to Vermont.
My parents and I went to Vermont a few weeks ago, as we do every summer, and that was fine. The only thing I didn't like was that we spent three weeks there, All things considered everything was fine it is just that I planned to spend two weeks with my parents, but I didn't remember that my mother likes to spend as much time in Vermont as possible which is something I should remembered from last year but I did not, which made me slightly annoyed because I should have remembered that. My parents and I ate pizza from a place called Stones Throw. The pizza was not anything to write home about. It tasted good, but there was not anything that I thought was special about it. That is why I briefly mention it here and do not write a separate paragraph. A few days later, we went to a restaurant called Electra. It was all right. I had a small stake with French fries and soda, and my father had some soup. I believe my mother had some seafood dish whose name escapes me, but I will account for all the food being good for them. I noticed that the restaurant could have been busier than it was, given that we were there around dinnertime in America for most people. I also thought that Electra could have more waitresses and waiters, but for all I know, it a slow night for them. I wish I had not been the main course so I could have tried the dessert, which I plan to do if we revisit that restaurant. I think that Electra is a slightly overrated restaurant, even though the food was pretty good, and I hope that in the future. They update the artwork they have on the walls. The restaurant I enjoyed the most on this vacation would have to be Bark Eaters Restaurant before, but it always gives me a nice small-town restaurant feel when I am there. The only thing I did not like about the meal was that it felt like they could have had fish for the meal. I mitigated enough fries to defeat a small army, but only three things that look like fish fillets in the tartar sauce were pretty good. my parents took an opportunity to enjoy one of Vermont's staple desserts, soft ice cream. My favorite is the chocolate and vanilla swirl and the maple and vanilla swirl. Both good combinations cookie love and Olson's are currently the main places my parents and I go for soft ice cream near where we stay in Vermont. One of these places is called cookie love the nearest place to where we live, it's and the the place has good ice cream and standard sizes good. The place I like the most right now is called Olson's primarily because of the size of the ice cream flavor. The sizes are standard, but the medium is a large serving of ice cream about the size of a large man's fist. In both places, ice cream tastes excellent, but in terms of size for the price, Olson's is slightly better in terms of portion size and cost.I look forward to trying more places in Vermont. Next time I go on vacation.0

Seinfeld show because who doesn't want to watch a show about nothing
Seinfeld show A fascinating portrayal of everyday life that highlights the humor in the mundane.
I enjoy the show.  I primarily watch it on Comedy Central.  Seinfeld is one of those timeless shows.  These situations that Jerry and his friend find themselves in are relatable to many adults.  Seinfeld shows about four adults living life the best they can.
First and foremost, there is Jerry Seinfeld, a comedian in New York City, along with his small circle of friends) Georgia Castanza.  This moderately successful real estate agent goes through several career shifts as the series continues.  There is also Cosmo Kramer, a successful actor and wannabe entrepreneur.  Lastly, a writer, Elaine Benis, works for several magazines throughout the series.  I like all the characters.  The character I identify with the most is George Castanza because I feel like he is in some small way without being like me if I were not disabled.  In short, moderately intelligent with some minor psychological issues.
What the show does brilliantly is that it takes everyday relations, such as workplace misunderstandings, and makes them funny.  I will attribute about 50% of that to Jerry Seinfeld and the brilliant writers.  They assembled for this program because every situation is only shown and will happen to somebody at some point in their lives.
One of the episodes I like the most is where the four friends compete to see who can last the longest without sex.   It shows just how many situations a person can interpret as a turn-on when they are trying to abstain from physical intimacy.  They do remarkably well.  Another good episode is when Jerry and Elaine try to have a strictly physical relationship without complicating their friendship.  The attempt fails spectacularly only when they can rebuild their friendship.  There are several hit-or-miss episodes,
but none that don't make you at least smile. Like George, I second-guess myself when making decisions. Unlike me, George is not constantly affected by his indecisions.
Elaine is an instant starring character with a stable career as a writer.  The only real problems she seems to have are unresolved feelings for Jerry, who also has unresolved feelings for her.  During the entire series, they never sit down and discuss whether they are in a relationship and where they want it to go.
It would have helped the characters tremendously had they sought psychological help at some point in the series.  It may not have helped the two of them in every situation.  But at least they would have a better understanding of where they both were and what both of them wanted from the relationship.  I find it remarkable that the two characters share such a close friendship because I know I could not do that with someone I dated.
Cosmo Kramer is an interesting character because he is an actor.  He also strives to be an entrepreneur who tries many business ventures and still has confidence in his ability to make something happen despite many failures.  In short, Kramer is a dreamer with boundless confidence in himself.    The best place to buy Seinfeld is on Amazon.

I wish I could say the main characters.  The character that I identify with the most.  But as I told Georgia, the stanza is the character I think I would most like if I were not disabled because I can see a lot of myself in his second-gases decisions when somebody brings up the mildest problem in his decision-making process.  The main difference between Georgia's and my stanza is that George is not constantly down by his limitations.  At least he does not let his limitations get him down regularly.
Elaine is an instant character because, on the surface, he has her left together with a stable career as a writer.  The only real problems.  He seems to have our relationship because he cannot resolve her feelings for Jerry, who also has unresolved feelings for her.  In all the show seasons, they never seem to sit down and discuss whether they are in a relationship and where they want it to go.  It would have helped the characters tremendously had they sought fractional help at some point in the series.
In short, Kramer is, but every entrepreneur is before this radical consummate dreamer with boundless confidence in himself.  If I had only a fraction of the confidence Cosmo had out-of-network ongoing my abilities or how to promote myself when finding employment or some form of career.  The best place to buy the series is on Amazon.

Kingdom of the planet of the apes movie overview Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (movie review)
I recently saw this movie, and I enjoyed it. This movie follows Noah, an ape who is content with his life. But he is forced to leave his village after a group of apes attack his town searching for a human whom they think has information about previous human history. Noah meets up with May at a zoo. She had been following him the whole time.
Eventually, the two of them are captured by enemy apes and are held for several days before they can escape to Noah’s home by attempting to kill the enemy. Ape leader
Noah takes charge of his group of apes, and then she leaves.
There are several themes throughout the film, some of which are but they are Noah learns that not everyone you meet can be fully trusted and may learns that not all apes are her enemies. Another themes are tolerance and acceptance of change are essential. In everyone’s life, I am sure I missed other themes. This movie can most likely be found on Amazon Prime. If anyone is interested in viewing it themselves.

Godzilla x Kong New Empire This movie is the third movie in the monster monster verse.
This movie is the third movie in the monsterverse.
Monsterverse series.  The movie only briefly explains what the Hollow Earth is and jumps right into the action. The Hollow Earth is an extra layer of Earth where prehistoric creatures and mythological animals, like dragons, still exist.  The Titans are prehistoric animals who are the basis of all legends. Kong is a Titan that resembles a giant ape.
In this universe, the monarch, a branch of the government, was set up in the 1970s to monitor the creatures who live in the Hollow Earth and, if necessary, defend humanity from these creatures.  The monarch monitors Kong as he travels across the Hollow Earth, searching for more of his kind.
Godzilla, a giant lizard (also a Titan), meanwhile, is searching for a new place to call home.  Godzilla periodically fights other titans for dominance. Along the path, Kong is led to a tribe of giant apes ruled by a Titan called Scar King, an ancient giant ape feared for his brutality. In his first encounter with Scar King, he is defeated and retreats.
Kong gets assistance from the monarch for a hand injury  with a
•prototype gauntlet.  Kong goes to the surface to seek help from Godzilla but reaches him.  In the end, Kong and Godzilla defeat the giant ape, and Kong becomes the leader of the tribe of the Giant Apes, earning the title of King Kong.  I recommend this movie to any fan of monster movies and Godzilla fans. Go back and watch Godzilla King of the Monsters first, and if you do not feel like doing that, feel free to check my blog on that movie.

Barbie movie review
My dad and I recently went to see Barbie, and surprisingly, it was a good film with good music, even if it was not my cup of tea. It appealed to young girls and women who have owned Barbie dolls and can see a bit of it in themselves. This movie has been compared to the Black Panther movie and how it deals with societal injustices, but Barbie was much more straightforward with the message.
I like seeing all the different Barbies showcased from the beginning, when Barbie was strictly a fashion model, to now, when he represents all races and professions while maintaining being pretty. Conversely, the movie villain wanted to be chosen by Barbie, but he was always an afterthought in Barbie's world. Barbie was a symbol of independence who did not need a man.
However, Mitch, his best friend, had more reason to be a villain than Ken. I hope that kens have a place to go when they want to be away from Barbies.
The biggest villain in the film was the Barbie Motel toy company, who moved them from the factory to Barbie Land. I appreciated that the president of Barbie Land was willing to change Barbie as a society; the struggles of the males in Barbie Land are like women's.Struggles in our society
The only remaining question is that since Barbie is now real, what, or who is the center of her universe, and is there a place for men? I recommend this movie. It provides a lot of food for thought.

 Friends show overview
Friends is a TV show that I found through reruns, and when I first discovered it, I thought it was stupid. In general, it might not have changed all that much, though I will say the characters have grown on me at least a little
Rachel is a young woman whose father has financially supported her for most of her life, but he decides to cut her off after she runs out on her wedding. She starts working in a local coffee shop, where her friends meet daily. Of course, she only got the waitressing job at the coffee shop because the owner liked her. She works at the coffee shop while searching for a job. She would be interested in it. She finds one at Calvin Klein, working at several positions at the company, but most notably as an assistant in the store.
There is also Ross, a paleontologist who works in the Natural History Museum; we learn that he is freshly out of marriage and has a child. There is also Chandler. He works in an accounting firm. There is Joey. He is an actor and an all-around flirt. He is searching for what many actors are searching for and one significant breakout role that will set him up for enormous success in the first few seasons. He does not find this role, although he works on days of our lives for a while.
Sadly, of all the characters' initials, he does not get any character development and stays the same throughout the show, which is very sad because he had as much potential as the other characters to develop as a person through the years. They just chose not to create them or leave him as comic relief. There is also Phoebe, a free-spirited individual who we learn has not had an effortless life. There is also Monica Rossi, the sister who works on jobs before discovering her passion for cooking. The show will bolt around these individuals and their struggles with relationships and balancing their personal and professional lives. One thing about the show that surprised me was that Julian Phoebe never tried to get together. They would have made a decent couple, but they could have done better. The most vital couple in the entire show was Monica and Chandler. Of course, they spent several seasons trying to date other people before discovering that they like the force. Relationship drama always drives them in some way, so that is not surprising. The worst couple in the group were Ross and Rachel. I will die on that hill because Rachel unintentionally sabotaged Ross's opportunity for happiness with another person besides her. Of course, I am sure that it was unintentionally sabotaged, but still sabotaged, it did not help Ross figure out a healthy way to have a friendship with Rachael.
I know we tried several times to do it, but his emotions would always get away; this could be illustrated in two instances. The one incident where they got drunk in Vegas and got hastily married only to get divorced a couple of days later in the other incident is when Ross attempted to marry Emily only for Rachel to interfere with that, causing Ross to say Rachel's name during the vows. Of course, this is understandable because Ross and Rachel dated in high school, and they never talked about their feelings for each other. The relationship would have been healthier if they had set clear boundaries when they first broke up, but what do teenagers know about boundaries? So again, their emotional confusion is understandable. The healthiest relationship was between Chandler and Monica. They discovered they had feelings for a cover later in the show. I would have expected them, but still, they represent the healthiest relationship in an entire show. I believe it. Again, I am surprised that Phoebe and Joey never got together, or at least tried to have a romantic relationship, at any point during the show. If Joey and Phoebe had a romantic relationship, The show would have had the show, and with every character finding their match, which I know is not how life works, it would have been an enjoyable way to end things again. The most vital couple in the world, Chandler and Monica, had the most character development of all the characters, plus Chandler liked Monica for who she was. Even though she was a bit high maintenance. The real genius of this show is that all the writers had to do was exaggerate characteristics already present in the cast, as I think about it.
A secondary theme of friends is the group support network, which most adults can relate to in some way. The themes of friends are timeless because every adult, in some way or another, is looking for their place in the world and a steady group of friends and partners to grow old with. Embodies the struggles of many working adults looking for a solid work-life balance. I recommend the show to everybody. If anyone reading this has seen the show, what are your thoughts? On the show.

My second Cruise experience
My father and I took an 11-day Cruise in April. On Celebrity Cruise Line: It was a different experience for me compared to our previous experience with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line we were on, although it was still enjoyable. On our Barbados tour, I realized that I should have asked more questions to understand better the places we visited. Our visit to St. Johns reinforced my dislike for Christopher Columbus due to the knowledge I gained. Despite this, I highly recommend taking at least one cruise. However, I regret participating in the singles activities as it was a complete disaster. Nevertheless, we were fortunate to meet an older couple who remembered it was my birthday, and we had a wonderful time. Overall

"Let's dive into a review of the movie Inside Out!"
I have been thinking about this movie recently, and it's been talked about on all social media platforms because of the second inside-out movie that recently came out. So, I decided to review the first movie before watching the second one. I like this. I wondered what emotion would dominate my control room in the film because I could not do everything. All the classic emotions would still be there—sadness, joy, etc. I think anger or sadness due to my disability, which is something that is beyond my control, would dominate my control. Room, the main character Riley's parents are moving, and her father needs to find another job. Something that would cause stress and anxiety in any family, no matter how close-knit that family is. In the movie, the main character, Riley, has to deal with having to move because of a change in her father’s employment situation. Her mother and father tried to ease her into it, and at one point, Riley lies to her parents and says she accepts the changes that are coming rapidly in her life. Of course, this is a lie to make her parents not worry about her when Riley decides to run away and try to return to her former neighborhood. She is nine years old and is unsuccessful in achieving that goal. Her parents subsequently find her and doubly reassure her that she will adjust to the changing circumstances of her life.
Eventually, during those changes, there was to be support for her joy, the leader in Riley’s mind, and those tools with good intentions. It is also hard for her to accept change, especially when no motion of sadness is introduced into Riley’s changing circumstances. Joy finds it challenging to have a good relationship with his new motion, which has to be done for a control room to function normally in this movie. Think of a human being like a power plant, and joy and sadness go on an exploratory journey to fix what they perceive as broken. However, the power plant is not damaged. It is simply going through the changes that an adolescent would experience in a highly stressful situation.
I like movies that simplify complicated emotional situations for a younger audience and promote insightful conversations in many households. I have realized that the hardest things for me as an adult are my friendships since childhood and the efforts to expand my social network, for lack of a better term. As an adult, it is critical to throw in with a bunch of people who do not know you but, over the years, will come to accept you or want you as a young kid. It does not matter so much who likes you and who does not. But as an adult. The social network that you have created over the years becomes increasingly important, and finding new additions to that social network becomes increasingly difficult. However, it is doable with patience and time. As long as one’s standards are not too rigid, this movie teaches one to give time and patience. Human beings can adapt to almost any situation they find themselves in. I recommend this movie to everybody. And who knows, you might get something out of it. That is different from what I got out of it, but I think you will find some childhood experiences to relate to regardless of age. I think, overall, this movie is about accepting change

This story starts with my parents and I going on our usual summer vacation to Vermont back in August of 2019. However, my mother and I were sick on the way up. My mother had caught a bad case of laryngitis and she passed it on to me, so I wasn’t able to enjoy myself in Vermont is much as I normally would have. Truly, my parents tried to find things that I could keep down, but nothing seemed to work, I could barely keep down water.
One day as I was trying to go inside and feed my parents' dog, I lost my balance and fell hard on my left hip. I thought nothing of it at first, I simply rolled onto my stomach and got up. the next day, I was walking to complete the same task and I lost my balance again, but I thought nothing of it because I fallen a number of times before. So, then the next day my left leg was shaky and I almost fell in the kitchen. Thankfully, my dad caught me before that happened. The next day, everything was fine until the middle of the night when I went to the bathroom and my left leg collasped from under me as I was coming out of the bathroom. That’s when I thought that something was wrong. My parents debated taking me to the hospital. They decided not to take me to the hospital in Vermont because they weren’t sure how long I would have to stay there. So, my parents decided that my father would take me back to Maryland the next morning to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where I have been treated for years. The night before my father took me to Walter Reed, I had one of the worst spasms that I’ve ever had in my entire life. When I got to Walter Reed the process of admission was pretty fast and they did an x-ray. Shortly after I was admitted, that’s when I found out that I fractured my hip. They also gave me fluids because I looked pale and the thing that made this extra fun was that I was still suffering from the laryngitis during this entire process.
I was very annoyed when the doctors informed me that I would have to stay the night after my x-ray. I think the thing that really pissed me off though, was when the doctor came in the next morning and said to me that my surgery was going to be in three days from my admission. So, they moved me to the fourth floor so I can have some privacy. The other annoying thing that happened is that I constantly felt like I had to pee, and they drew blood every couple hours. I know these are things that shouldn’t surprise me or annoy me considering that my parents were in the medical profession, but that's when I truly realized I hate hospitals. The one thing I will say for Walter Reed, is that they serve really good food to patients who are going into surgery. The day I had my surgery did not feel different at all from any other day I went into the operating room and the last thing I remember is the anesthesiologist joking around with the nurse. My parents tell me that my surgery lasted six hours. To me it felt like two minutes. I stayed at Walter Reed for around three days after my surgery so they could monitor me. I do want to express my appreciation to the nurses on the fourth floor who checked in on me on a regular basis will. Some therapists checked to see how well I was recovering. They were okay, but I would not call them the best therapists. I honestly expected that one of the therapists that normally works with me would come up to see me since they knew me the best, but that didn’t happen. A day or so later, it was recommended that I go to MedSTAR national Rehabilitation Hospital.
Two individuals, a man and a woman, in MedSTAR uniforms took me in an ambulance down the road to the MedSTAR hospital. The ride sucked for me, mainly because they had to strap my left leg down so it didn't move around. I also wondered, as they were transporting me away from Walter Reed that this must be a similar process to what they do for dead bodies. I do not remember what floor my room was on, but I do remember the fact that they did not let me out of bed for a couple days because the orders from Walter Reed had not come through. Yet they did draw my blood and gave me medications to treatment my laryngitis. A day after that I was taken down to see a therapist. I believe her name was Linda. She stretched me, and also had me stand and I almost collapsed. That’s when she told me that I should take this into specific anti-spastic medication, which did work. I spent three weeks in that facility.
There were a few things I learned about that facility. One was that the therapist that I would have on the weekend was not as good as the therapist during the week. There was also an exercise group, there many other things that happened, although, they kind of blur together for me. I did learn how to play bocce ball, though. Honestly, the game is interesting and quite doable in a chair. Personally, I think that I could’ve been on my crutches had they not been trying to be cautious about me overtaxing myself, so their caution made sense.
I did feel depressed because I missed out on the things that I had not accomplished yet. I realize that what happened to me was not my fault, and I honestly try not to be depressed most of the time about the things that I cannot control. But while I was in the rehab facility, I had a lot of time to think. I did like the psychiatrist they sent to see me. One thing I could’ve done without, though, was seeing my parents as much as I did because I did not see the reason why they needed to be there at all. I think it would’ve been easier just to call them when something happened, but this is my opinion when I got out of the hospital. MedSTAR sent therapists to my parents’ house which worked out fine. Now two years later, I feel like I am currently at 100%. The most important thing I learned from this experience is to be extra careful when doing anything because you never know what accident might occur.

Show reviewMighty Max is a cartoon that ended in 1993. I think it's an underrated show. I don't hear much about it, and I think that's sad. It's fantastic for many reasons. I like how descriptive, worldly, and educational the show is especially for its time. It doesn't feel like it's all that educational, and that's the beauty of it. The struggles that he had in middle school balancing schoolwork and hero things I think is relatable for many school kids. He's also good at getting himself into trouble, but his wits are what stand out and get him out of trouble at the same time.
This series is about a 14-year old boy named Max, and he most definitely acts like it. The first episode starts with Max getting a mysterious package, which he of course opens. He takes out what looks like a statue and accidentally drops it, and finds a hat that was inside the statue. It resembles a baseball cap with the letter M emblazoned on the front. He puts it on to see if it fits, and as soon as it touches his head, it opens a portal that sucks him to another location on earth. There he bumps into a small creature that resembles a chicken, whose name is Virgil and will teach him all about the hat. There is one other individual, named Norm, who resembles a viking, he has a massive sword and incredible strength and acts as the protection for Max.
He learns that his house is adjacent to another portal, which takes you to the lair of a villain by the name of Skull Master. I believe he is the main antagonist of this series, though, there are plenty of other villains that Max has to deal with throughout. There's also Lava Lord, a subterranean creature who wishes to rule the surface world. Then, there is also Dr. Zygote who wishes to bring the world back to a more primitive state. Lastly, there are also the snake men. They worship a statue of a large cobra in Egypt.
In the final episode, Max has to fight Skull Master at Stonehenge. During this fight, time rewinds itself back to the beginning of the series, but this time, Max has additional knowledge, which he plans to use to correct the mistakes he made the first time. This series is two seasons long. I would recommend this show to teenagers because this show, above all else, is about growing up.

If you're into suspense/mystery/horror animes, The Promised Neverland is one I just got into that I really liked. Or if you found this and you've already seen it, check out my next blog where I go over Season One in depth + share my thoughts. Anyway, I liked this anime because it's a really good deep dive into how people react in stressful situations. There's strong themes of imprisonment, kinda reminds me of a cattle on a farm. It shows the desperation humans will go to to survive in general.
The show opens in the dining hall of Grayfield Manor, a home for orphans, with all 38 kids present. The first orphans you meet are the 3 main characters: Norman, Ray, and Emma, who are super intelligent 12 year olds. In the show you'll meet the main antagonist, Isabella, the leader of the camp who portrays a veneer of kindness, but has a steely determination to do whatever it is to stay alive, even at the expense of others'. The show focuses a lot on intelligence tests, and Isabella is BIG on announcing scores after all the tests. One might hope that this is to encourage higher scores to increase adoption, but the show takes some grueling turns for the worst.
The manor is surrounded by walls with only one gate, which is restricted to the orphans. After the first orphan, Connie, gets "adopted," the 3 main characters start to wonder more about how exactly you leave the gate. And their curiosity eventually brings them to the restricted gate. This is where the show introduces the underlying horror that is lying within the manor.
I hope I was able to give some nice glimpses into this suspenseful anime. Here is the link to watch it on Netflix, and also Crunchyroll! My next blog will be my thoughts on the show, so be sure to check that out and let me know your thoughts on it!
the first thing we see is a big sprawling house 38 children are sitting down to breakfast. There are numbers on their necks. Isabella, the head of the household announces that Connie will be adopted that day. Connie cries about leaving and Emma comforts her. After breakfast, the children file into classrooms to take a series of tests, Ray and Norman received the highest test scores. They go outside and play tag Norman Ray and Emma end up running to the back gate. They are restricted from going past that gate. The three wonder what is on the other side. A few days later, Emma and Norman sneak out at night and go to the back gate. They managed to get past it. Emma sees Connie’s teddy bear laying on the ground. Norman sees Connie’s body in a vat of preservative liquid. He also sees what he calls demons come to collect the body. He overhears them talk about the meat. Norman runs back to Emma and they both flee back past the gate back to their rooms. The next morning, they tell Ray all about the experience. Ray is understandably skeptical of their story. But in the end, believes them because they are such close friends. The three plan on escaping. The children learn Norman is the next to be adopted (how?) so they have to accelerate their plans. Emma does not want to leave any of the other children behind. So, it is decided to tell tomorrow. Norman, Emma, and Ray try to share what they saw to the older children, Don and Gilda, but they're also skeptical.*** After this, the story of the escape spreads like wildfire. Norman and Emma find out that the facility they are being housed in is called Gray Field Manor and that it is known for a high grade of meat. It is also discovered that Ray is a spy for Isabella. So, Isabella knows all about their plan. So, Isabella does everything she can to slow down the children’s progress.** Norman finds out that there is an extremely high wall around the property that would easily prevent them from escaping. So, he decides to go through with leaving the rest of the children continue to build up the stamina of the younger children by monthly playing tag in their free time. later, Emma discovers that the older children who are deemed smart enough are adopted at age 12 .she also discovers that it will soon be Ray's 12 birthday and he will be adopted soon. Ray shuts down after this news and decides to sacrifice himself so that Emma and the rest of the children can escape. However, on the night that he plans to do this, Emma stopped him. It is later revealed that Norman predicted that Ray might try to commit suicide, so Emma stopped him with an impassioned plea. However, they still set the room on fire. Emma runs to Isabella and tells her that Ray is in the room that is currently on fire. Isabella runs to the room in an attempt to save Ray’s brain. Emma and the rest of the older kids use the opportunity to get a majority of the kids that are old enough to run out of the building and over the wall. Emma leaves the younger children with Isabella. Emma promises that they will be back for the rest of them in two years. I recommend this anime for anyone who enjoys suspense or a mystery.
I think this anime is extremely well done. At first glance, the Anime looks like it is set in the 1800s. However, the few books we see would make us think that it takes place in 2015. In some alternate timeline. However, this anime is set in the year 2046.To show does a good job of simplifying a very complicated subject and I think it makes it easier for younger audience to understand. It also shows the resilience of the human spirit in extreme circumstances
