Faceted Glass Crystal with Silver Spiral Encapsulation. Beautiful colors and reflections can be enjoyed with this piece . A lot of work went into this one (over 4 hours), and I still see areas that could use improvement. Sharpened up one of my most frequently used tools on the belt sander. This is called a Reamer. I use it mainly for flaring tubes, and making openings in glass, nice and round. I have been busy the last few days, getting ready to go on a month long trip to Croatia with the lovely @maenad.making starting May! We have been collaborating on some cool ideas, and we are excited to share them:) . Here are some of the mini glass sculptures I made for the collabs. There is an acorn, an apple and a poplar bud. The color used for the poplar bud is called @northstarglass Amber Purple and it is a beauty... Also, here's a picture of Heathcliff with his new hutch I put together using recycled materials from around the yard. This was my first real solo wood project and I'm happy with the result!
