House M.D. is a show about how there's this doctor that's insane (truly just disabled and also refuses to seek mental help but also is a jerk) and there's like 6 doctors that can try to do his job but no one does it like him. He's the only one that can figure out complex cases. He has his own department for it. He's regularly called the best doctor in the place.
And the kicker is that HE'S NOT EVEN THAT GOOD AT IT 😭 every case has to last a minimum of 40 minutes bc this is a tv show and the patient goes home with a CVS length hospital bill and hospital trauma at the end of every single one. To this day I do NOT understand how people watch this show and fail to see how fucked up doctors can be and how flawed our healthcare system is just bc they idolize greg
