Her face paled at his words as it became clear that she wasn’t going to be able to talk her way out of this. Not that she was good at it anyways, but she would’ve at least liked to try. She could see a spark of anger light up in his eyes before he turned his back to her and made his way out of the room, her own timid footsteps echoing behind his own. Right as they were about to leave the room, Vex suddenly caught a glimpse into Kylo’s mind and saw how enveloped he was in his own thoughts. An idea formed in her mind and she carefully paused her steps to see if he would notice. To her delight, he was too wrapped up in his head to realize that her footsteps had stopped from behind him. She smiled to herself in a short-lived victory before she felt the Force pull on her again. Her hands lit up with the red glow of her powers and a plan seemed to pop into her head out of nowhere: she needed to find the source of the pull. Her whole predicament started because of it, and now she had nothing left to lose since her power was clearly discovered by the Supreme Leader. Vex lifted her head and waited for Kylo’s footsteps to get further from the file room before springing into action.
As quietly as she could, Vex rushed over to the engineering section and searched for a file on one of the newer TIE-Fighters that had recently been developed. Finally, she found what she was looking for: a Model VII TIE-Fighter with a one-man pilot and gunner’s seat. It was just about ready to go into mass production, and it had already cleared the test flights. She quickly pulled the blueprints of the ship, folded them up, and stuffed them into her pocket before quietly making her way to the door and peeking out. The Supreme Leader was at the very end of the hallway, still oblivious to her absence. Repressing a chuckle, she waited until he turned the corner to rush out of the file room and to the nearest elevator. It seemed that the Force was on her side as the elevator door opened and a few officers walked out just as she ran in, making sure to avoid their detection as she stepped into the elevator. She pushed the button to go to the flight deck and hoped that she would be able to escape before anyone could stop her.
When Vex was transferred onto The Supremacy following the death of Snoke and rise of Kylo Ren, she was almost certain that she was screwed despite her lowly role on the ship. Her position as a administrative assistant was a unique one in that it confined her to the file room of the various ships she was assigned to, where she worked alone. The only thing she really had to do was file away the paper copies of all the files and provide them whenever the digital copies weren’t available, which was a rare occurrence. All she would have as company during the day were the rows upon rows of filing cabinets that filled the room, but that was how Vex preferred it. She was practically invisible to everyone else on the ship and it was this sole thought that offered her solace when she found out that she was being transferred to the ship that housed the Supreme Leader himself.
And yet, despite her fears of being discovered, it never happened. Her ability to hide herself among the silver cabinets and countless people that worked on the ship was proving to be impeccable. Months had passed by and not once had her powers been discovered by the Supreme Leader or any of his Knights of Ren. Vex was certain that she could continue living an invisible, safe life….until she started to feel the pull. She had been working in the file room, per the norm, when she suddenly heard…something. It wasn’t clear what exactly she had heard, but her gut told her that it was calling out for her. Vex had intended to simply brush it aside, but when she looked down at her hands and saw a red glow being emitted from the cusps of the gloves she was required to wear, she knew that something was wrong. Her suspicions were confirmed when her powers became harder to control whenever she felt the pull from the Force. Drawers from the filing cabinets would be flung open at the wave of her hand, objects in her room would suddenly float up in the air with with the same red glow that could be seen from the cusp of her gloves, files would be disintegrated into ash with a small outburst of pure energy as soon as she touched them. With each passing day, the pull Vex felt grew stronger and it was driving her mad, or it at least felt like it was. Each small incident made her fear of being found grow, which the pulling of the Force wasn’t helping her with. No, Vex knew that it was only a matter of time before the Supreme Leader discovered her.

She froze when she heard his voice above her and saw his boots in front of her outstretched hand. Vex slowly looked up to see the Supreme Leader himself, maskless and terrifying. Having never seen him before (save for the pictures that accompanied some of the incident reports), it was quite a shock for her to see a handsome young man standing before her. She gathered up the rest of the scattered reports and put them in the cabinet drawer beside her, replacing it in the cabinet before standing to her feet with her arms clasped behind her back in attention.
“I’m Vex Naïo, sir, an administrative officer here on the Supremacy. I apologize for the mess you saw; that drawer gets stuck a lot and I accidentally pulled it out with too much force,” she said, nodding her head in reference to the drawer. “But, you obviously didn’t come all the way down here for such things. Are you looking for a specific file? If so, I’m more than happy to help you find it; it’s not hard for one to get lost amongst these cabinets.”

Vex had been filing away the latest report that was sent down to her when she felt Kylo’s presence approaching. She was fearful, at first, but she brushed it aside when she tole herself that there were numerous reasons as to why the Supreme Leader himself was visiting the archives of the ship. The closer he got to her, the more she tried to convince herself that he wasn’t in search of her specifically and that his visit wasn’t going to be important. At least, she tried to. She was in the back of the room filing the last of the reports when she heard the doors being thrown open, signaling the arrival of the Supreme Leader.
“I’m back here, give me a second,” she called out before she felt the Force pull the strongest it ever had, causing her to be knocked back as her hands flashed with red energy. As she hit the floor, she could hear the sound of metal colliding with metal and she looked over to see the filing cabinet draw laying next to her with all of its content strewn about. Vex slowly sat up and began to gather the small mass of papers, hoping she would be able to properly explain herself to the Supreme Leader.

OC #1: Vex Naïo
Alignment: True Neutral
Physical Appearance: 5′3, Caucasian, red hair, blue eyes that can turn red. Has a medium body build with faint muscles and her hair is a little longer than shoulder length. Wears a standard First Order uniform, black leather gloves, and standard work boots.
Powers and Abilities: Force user capabilities (telekinesis, mind manipulation, etc.) but they physically manifest similar to Scarlet Witch. Other abilities include lock picking, hiding in plain sight, athleticism, some technological skills (repairing weapons and simple ships), and social manipulation.
Background: Vex Naïo was born on a planet at the Outer Rim called Axium, where she was raised in a small village within the more rural areas of the planet. Vex’s powers came to light when she was young, but her parents had her swear to them that she would never use them, for fear of losing her to the First Order. She kept her promise until the day she lost them, which caused her to send out an extremely destructive burst of power that nearly destroyed her village. From there, she ran to one of the numerous cities on the planet and made a small living doing odd jobs for various businesses, but made sure to keep her existence a secret. When the First Order came to the planet for recruitment, Vex realized that she would be able to hide her abilities from them by securing a low-level job within the Order, which is exactly what she did. Due to her experience in various areas, but nothing that the Order had genuine use for, they put her in an administrative position in the filing room where Vex continued to hide herself from anyone important in the First Order.

OOC: Hello! (Rules and Guidelines)
I’m an OC-based Star Wars rp blog! I am 18+, so please, don’t interact if you’re a minor!
Rules:
- I am a literate rp blog, so I mainly do my entries in paragraph form.
- While I am 18+, I am not comfortable with explicit smut. I’m comfortable with writing scenes that have tension, but I don’t do explicit smut.
- My blog will mostly be OC-centered, so please don’t expect me to take on canon characters.
- I am semi-selective, so if I don’t feel like I can hold a steady RP with you, then I won’t engage in it.
- I do RPs in both PM and threads.
- Message me if you want to rp, and make sure you have a clear idea of where you want the story to go; I prefer to have a storyline mostly planned out before I rp.
- My OC’s will probably somewhat divert from canon, so please be aware of that.
- I only allow shipping of characters if I feel like there’s potential for them, and I don’t really like crack ships.
That’s about it! Thanks for reading!
